Hello Share Swappers. I’ve previously brought a little surveillance firm to your attention. It's called Indigovision (IND). This was quite some time ago and of course the story in Crazyland is always changing.

Those investors who follow your tips but aren’t as hot on their spelling may well just have read your headline as “Buy Indigovision” and bought before reading on…
At the moment I’m happy just sitting on cash until market capitulates and gets overdue correction out of the way.

You’ve probably sold very near the lows.
If you dig a bit deeper, IndigoVision has completely re-launched its brand & marketing, in the last few days, now focusing on an emotional connection with the end users (making them feel safe), rather than advertising solely on the technical details of the product. The response has already been encouraging, I hear.
Moreover, the most recent outlook statement made it clear that the H1 losses would be fully recouped (and more) in H2. The balance sheet is extremely robust.
I accept that this share has serially disappointed, I have held continuously for 11 years, and we’ve had many false dawns. However the company is actually making good underlying progress – they just need to smooth out the lumpy order book somehow. Costs have been slashed in countries which disappointed on sales in H1, thus restoring profitability in H2. The cost base at IND is variable, so the company can adjust to changing market conditions, and remain profitable.
Everything still to play for with this one, so selling out at this point in time, is almost certainly going to be a mistake.
Personally I am targeting an exit around 400-500p next year, which should be achievable.
Regards, Paul Scott.

Word of advice. Buy back quickly and apologise and say you have bought. If you dont you will soon hear aknock on your door and it will be Scotty come down to give you online retail gross margin waterboarding. After just a few hours you will be a nervous wreck and will do whatever he demands. There is no way out for you my friend..

Looking at this one, I’d rather own it than Compass Group at the present price. Looks like a solid value proposition based on what I can see on the Stockopedia stock report. Chart is ugly though and MACD suggest it’s going lower in the immediate future.

Or you could just go to my dentist with the inadequately trained suction pipe operator girly . Its only takes 10 minutes to partially drown you where as Scotty takes three hours of your life for the same affect . Time you can never get back , assuming you survive the experience without contracting double puu monica ( an untidy death , for Friends fans )

Hi Gang and thanks for all your replies. I’m selling because the trend is down. Always willing to buy back, if the story changes. For all those chums who are still holding, as soon as I sell there is nearly always a healthy jump in the share price. Malc’s law.

Your call Malcolm please file weekend copy now while you are in a fit mental state before Scotty gets to work on you with the online retail gross margin waterboarding….
Oh.. who is that knocking on your door now? have fun…

Tend to agree with Malcolm Stacey – finger on the sell button for my small holding.
I responded on ADVFN regarding the new website – and commented:
“……. but interesting that there are only 2 “executive” main board directors and both are from accountancy backgrounds (Chartered Accountants, as I am). Apart from Holly McComb, the youngest of the other directors is 56 (and one of the NEDs is another CA).
I am not sure I am happy invested here (apart from being 26% down) now I realise there is neither a technical nor marketing/sales director.
The recent video they uploaded showing a drone suggested that they are not anywhere near the cutting edge of (even) that technology and application.”
I’ve since checked that the trading company has only Kneen and McComb on the board and no NEDs.

I will be more than happy to bring my laptop and give Malcolm the full 4-hour powerpoint presentation on online retail gross margins, if he wishes! (it’s gone up an hour, to include the bits I forgot the other day)
On a more serious note, I accept that IndigoVision has got a lot of things wrong since 2007, when the shares peaked at 1000p, but they’re quietly getting a lot right now too, behind the scenes. The company has got some excellent new products, including being the first to market with a body-warn tamper-proof camera which is fully integrated into their security system. This has been sold to police in Saudi Arabia I think. Also there are plenty of other big projects underway now. It was a pity they had a dismal Q1, as the rest of this year should shape up to being quite good, now costs have been cut & big projects are starting to be signed. Check the outlook in the last statement – it was upbeat, and mgt have a track record of telling it like it is.
Have a good weekend y’all!
Regards, Paul.
