Ah yes ………. the Easter Break ……….. the traditional period for DIY . Dont expect piece and quiet . This is the weekend your next door neighbor on the left decides to build a 40 metre extension in the back garden in three days flat and your neighbor on the right buys a new power washer and is so enthralled with this shiny new gadget he spends all 96 continuous hours of Easter power washing everything on his property to within an inch of its life . Break out the ear defenders the mother in law bought you for Xmas in 1982 . Malcolm , of course, will be busy filling in teeth marks on the doors of his residence with high quality wood filler . Remember ……….. having a good break from portfolio gazing over the four days will often bring a new perspective on the resumption of market hostilities come Tuesday . Enjoy the break ………. and Tom …….. dont forget to throw some bacon rind on your house roof for the gulls…….. they have short memories and will never remember to come back……..err . A trip to Weston – Super – Mud is highly recommended where upon you can experience a 5 hour journey on the M5 that normally takes 25 minutes if going via the Clifton suspension bridge. A pleasant walk on Weston prom is soon turned into seagull poo carpet bombing raids by the local seagulls that were WW2 Stuka pilots in a previous life . Its the bag of chip carrying Tourists that provoke this mass carnage . Have fun if at all possible ;-)
