Having already made four offers to acquire System1 Group (SYS1), what of now an “increased… fifth and final offer” from Brave Bison Group (BBSN)?

It is almost as if the LSE is sitting on bad news about AIM
The London Stock Exchange (LSE), where I am a loyal shareholder, normally publishes data covering arrivals departures, funds raised etc on the AIM Casino by the 7th of the following month. But right now we await not only September data but also that from August.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: its commercial madness but I will not be silenced about October 7th and what has followed
It may cost me money as has my expression of horror about what happened on October 7th before. But I cannot and will not stay silent. I stand with the Jews. Tomorrow bearcast will return to the world of shares but not today.

Headlam – a final disappointment. You were warned!…
In August Headlam Group (HEAD) was “pleased to confirm… sale of Netherlands businesses” and even on announcing “Intention to Appoint Administrators” at the start of last month it stated this “provides a period of protection for the group and its creditors while discussions remain ongoing with stakeholders”.

Amaroq – adds to FTSE 250 news with production ahead of target, Buy
Amaroq (AMRQ) has noted its upcoming inclusion in the FTSE 250 index stating it “clearly validates our strategy of moving our listing from AIM to the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange and will open us up to inclusion in further index tracking funds and the commensurate impact on liquidity of indexation” in an announcement that also includes “achieving Q4 2026 production target one quarter early”. More good news although, as Tom pointed out here, the effect will only be c£12 million of tracker buying, 2% of the equity. But it all helps!

Kefi Gold & Copper – interims, risk/reward Strong Buy
Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI) has issued its half-year 2026 results including that following a serious security incident at its Tulu Kapi gold project in Ethiopia “development activities were immediately suspended with a view to resumption in a carefully sequenced manner. Consultations with representatives of the local community and the Ethiopian and Oromia governments, and their respective agencies have reaffirmed support for the project and for the company’s careful approach to resuming development. Principal contractors, lenders and local investors also remain supportive”. So where now for the shares from 0.6p?

Cykel AI – where is the frigging material uncertainty?
Standing behind this Jonathan Bixby created dog’s dinner of a shitco is the usual dream team of advisers to the Bixby gang, Brian Stockbridge at First Sentinel and Guy Wheatley from Fortified Securities. Numbers out yesterday. Interims to July 31, from Cykel AI ( CYKL) were exactly what you’d expect of a company like this, riddled with errors and just piss poor.

Hostelworld – having previously emphasised “strong revenue momentum sustained through H1”, what about now?…
Most recently on hostels travel group Hostelworld (HSW), in July with the shares falling to 106p I concluded that the valuation still with the clear outlook risks suggested to still avoid. The shares most recently closed at 102p and what about now a “Trading Statement” including that it “now expects FY 2026 revenue growth of approximately 10%” – with the use of “now” meaning it wasn’t what it was previously expecting?

What is it with Quantum Blockchain (QBT), disgraced Nomad SP Angel of the Mysquar fraud infamy and wanker PR Christian Taylor Wilkinson and telling the truth? Despite the best efforts of myself and AIM Regulation, folks are still being lied to about the Italian House.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast No 2: It's October 7 tomorrow and Britain sickens me again & why there is no Kenmare read across
I start with the 3rd year anniversary of October 7 and how some folks are marking it and why the Police are useless in not responding. Then it is Petra Diamonds (PDL), utter bollocks from morally bankrupt advisors like PR wanker Christian Taylor Wilkinson in a 'fess up from Quantum Blockchain (QBT) after my GOTCHA yesterday and finally a long look at Kenmare (KMR) and the bid from Andy Burnham's pals in Abu Dhabi.

What about the shares currently up to 200p in response, but still down from above 300p a year ago?

“Trading as Utility Warehouse, the UK’s only integrated platform for subscription-style essential household services”, Telecom Plus (TEP) has issued a “trading update” including stating “encouraging progress, we reiterate our full year guidance for adjusted profit before tax of between £80m to £90m for FY”. Most recently on ‘AIM-listed data solutions provider’ Celebrus Technologies (CLBS), in April with the shares falling from 94.5p I wrote ‘argues “our pipeline remains strong”, but what about the contractual conversion from it?’ including that “pipeline remains strong” doesn’t mean a lot if it isn’t being net cash generatively converted and to still avoid. The shares most recently closed at 95.5p, and what about now a “Half Year Trading Update”?

EXPOSE: Eden Biosolutions – revisiting the dodgy TerpeneTech transaction as new accounts out, this is as kosher as a pork pie
21 years after my last batch of lawyers letters from these scumbags and after several victories over them thanks to my good pals at the FRC, the battle goes on. A few weeks ago, I reported on Eden Biosolutions' (EDEN) piss poor results for the 15 months ended 31March 2026. One of the issues I highlighted was the sale by Eden ( formerly known as Eden Research) to its associated company TerpeneTech Limited of data access fees for £434,783. Terpenetech’s accounts are now out. GOTCHA!
