Xeros Technology – interims, is it really “strong operational progress and continued industry impact”?

Shares in another of Neil Woodford’s disastrous ‘revolutionising’ picks (oops sorry, a “creator of technologies that reduce the impact of clothing on the planet”), Xeros Technology Group (XSG) were already a bit further down from 1.4p from when I previously wrote (‘2025 results arguing “the achievements of the last 18 months continue to fuel… confidence”. Er, do they?!’) before now 2026 calendar year half-year results headlined “Strong operational progress and continued industry impact”… and the shares in response further lower (natch!), at 1.125p.

XSG

Xeros Technology – 2025 results arguing “the achievements of the last 18 months continue to fuel… confidence”. Er, do they?!…

Most recently on what has been another of Neil Woodford’s disastrous ‘revolutionising’ picks Xeros Technology Group (XSG) – this one apparently revolutionising the environmental impact of clothing, in November I suggested on ANOTHER fundraising from it to forget “pursuit of global opportunities” as it’s funding needed to continue trading for at least some time longer. What of now the group’s results for the 2025 calendar year headlined “Delivering on important milestones with market leaders able to scale the technology” and the shares currently at 1.4p in response, approaching 7% down?

XSG

Xeros Technology – argues “pleased to announce”, but it’s actually a bailout and materially dilutive fundraising…

Most recently on what has been another of Neil Woodford’s disastrous ‘revolutionising’ picks Xeros Technology Group (XSG) – this one apparently efficiently revolutionising the environmental impact of clothing, last month with the shares up on a “Breakthrough Launch Agreement”-titled announcement I concluded to beware attempted ramptastic and still avoid. The shares went on to most recently close at 2.25p, but now “Fundraising” announcements. Quelle surprise!

XSG

Xeros Technology – 2024 results from this Neil Woodford ‘revolutionising’ pick argue “clear progression”. Er, is there?…

Noting its “innovative sustainable technologies that greatly reduce the impact of laundry on the eco-system”, Xeros Technology Group (XSG) has issued a “Full Year Results 2024 and Trading Update” announcement commencing that the results “show clear progression from development agreements to commercial agreements”. With the shares though currently responding approaching 4% lower at 1.3p, how “clear” really is that “progression”?

XSG

Xeros Technology – emphasises possible order ‘delight’, but it’s actually a significant trading warning (natch from one of Neil Woodford’s disastrous ‘revolutionising’ picks)…

Xeros Technology Group (XSG) commences a “Trading Update” announcement with that it “is delighted to share that it has signed a Letter of Intent with a major electronics distributor for an initial order of the XF3 external microfibre plug and go filter” but the announcement also includes that, overall for the group, “cognisant of potential timing issues when working with large global organisations… the board expects to achieve revenue of approximately £2.5m in the current year”. So what of a current more than 33% higher share price response to 0.70p?

XSG

Xeros Technology – I most recently having warned on commercial timings, it now reports delays ‘disappointment’…

Previously writing on what has been another of Neil Woodford’s disastrous ‘revolutionising’ picks Xeros Technology Group (XSG), in May with the shares down to 1.325p I was cautious on stated timings including it having listed in 2014 and concluded to still avoid. The shares most recently closed at 1.225p, and what of them currently slumping below 0.75p following today “Filtration Licence Agreement with Donlim Group” and “Trading Update” announcements?

XSG

Xeros Technology – “pleased to announce” retail offer closing result, fooling itself or trying to fool everyone else?

Xeros Technology (XSG) has issued a “Result of Retail Offer” announcement which commences, “The board of Xeros Technology Group is pleased to announce that the Retail Offer launched on 4 April 2024 has now closed”. Good news then with it having been stated fundraising net proceeds will be used including for execution of contracts, pursuit of global opportunities and advancing commercialisation… and to “strengthen the company's balance sheet”?

XSG

Xeros Technology Group – agreement with “potential to deliver substantial revenues”… so also the potential not to & how’s that balance sheet?

Group which reckons its “technologies revolutionise the way we make and clean our clothes, conserving water and preventing waste”, Xeros Technology (XSG) states that it is “very pleased to have signed a further contract with like-minded partners that enables us to continue bringing our technologies into the global market”. What of this and a share price currently up by more than 33% in response to 4.15p?

XSG

Xeros Technology Group – 2022 results, again demonstrating why it’s another of Neil Woodford’s disastrous ‘revolutionising’ picks

Another of Neil Woodford’s disastrous ‘revolutionising’ picks – this one apparently for “the way we make and clean our clothes”, Xeros Technology Group (XSG) has announced calendar year 2022 results with CEO Neil Austin stating to be “pleased to report the solid progress made by Xeros during 2022 across all key areas of the business”, though Chairman Klaas de Boer stating “overcoming adversity, with the optimism of what tomorrow may bring, must be our theme for 2023” and the shares currently down by approaching 15% to 3.75p.

XSG

Xeros Technology – further XFilter licensing agreement, attempted ramptastic?

Stating that its “technologies revolutionise the way we make and clean our clothes, conserving water and preventing waste”, Xeros (XSG) “is pleased to announce the signing of a further licensing agreement for its XFilter filtration technology with a global component manufacturer”. What of the shares currently up 6.5% in response towards 5p?

XSG

Xeros Technology – Director of Finance appointment; following recent lack of progress detail and EBITDA miss, good luck chap!

Xeros Technology (XSG) states that it is “delighted” to promote Alex Tristram to Director of Finance and Company Secretary, with he having “made a significant contribution to Xeros over his time with the company and his leadership and financial acumen make this a very natural appointment”. Er, what about the previous finance director though?

XSG

Xeros Technology – argues “positive progress” in India, so why the lack of detail and EBITDA miss then?

Xeros Technology Group (XSG) notes in a “trading update”, “positive progress by its licence partner in India, IFB with the launch of an 11kg domestic washing machine into the Indian market” and that it “continues to support IFB in the final stages of testing of a 9kg domestic machine prior to market launch, with a senior Xeros team visiting IFB in Goa in February”. So what of a current share price response down by more than 6% to 4.6p?

XSG

Xeros Technology – “an exciting milestone”…or not?

Arguing that its “technologies revolutionise the way we make and clean our clothes”, Xeros Technology Group (XSG) has issued an update including that IFB Industries has “confirmed that it will begin placing its new premium 11kg domestic washing machines, designed for large households and incorporating Xeros' Care technology, in its Indian retail stores by the end of this calendar year”. An “exciting milestone”?

XSG

Xeros Technology – new CEO reckons he is to build on “the solid foundations laid”. He in for a surprise then?

Describing itself as “creator of technologies that reduce the impact of clothing on the planet”, Xeros Technology Group (XSG) “is pleased to advise that further to the announcement on 18 March 2022, the board has concluded its search process and Neil Austin will be appointed as Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 August”. So what from here with the shares at 36.5p?

ECOB reminds me of OPTI (although the scale of announcements are far greater and have actual numbers attached). I've viewed both businesses as having a interesting product and plausible business model but neither have actually delivered on that. How is ECOB picking up these contracts? They are so diverse, both geographically and it terms of languages spoken etc - where is the common thread that enables them to deliver these? It doesn't strike me that they would likely have a expansive international sales operation.I'd be a lot more comfortable if they were getting more projects off ground in Albania and the wider Balkan region as they would be able to technically and operationally serve such projects much more easily and really prove out the product.
