THRU

Thruvision – “disappointing” interims, “to operate within the level of current funding resources” for how long?…

Most recently writing on Thruvision Group (THRU), describing itself as a “leading provider of walk-through security technology”, earlier this month with the shares down to below 12p I concluded with the financials of the interim results set to be quite dire, natch still avoid/sell. What of now the shares at 9.5p and those results for the group’s half-year ended 30th September 2024?

THRU

Thruvision – “Half year trading update and Board changes”, how’s that previous “expectation that we will reach profitability in the short-term”?

Describing itself as a “leading international provider of walk-through security technology”, I most recently wrote on Thruvision Group (THRU) in April with its shares at 17.5p concluding sceptically on its then-stated “expectation that we will reach profitability in the short-term”. The shares most recently closed at 16p and what of now a “Half year trading update and Board changes” announcement?

THRU

Thruvision – interims, ‘a robust base from which the group can profitably grow’?

Previously writing on group describing itself as a “leading provider of walk-through security technology” Thruvision (THRU), last month with the shares up to 24p I concluded I still continue to question whether the group has currently ‘a robust base from which the group can profitably grow’. At a now prospective £38.6 million market cap, I still currently certainly avoid. What now of the group’s results for its half-year ended 30th September 2023 and the shares currently at 20p?

THRU

Thruvision emphasises H1 “good momentum” and H2 “expect… more diversified range of customers” - but why’s that?…

Previously writing on group which describes itself as a “leading provider of walk-through security technology” Thruvision (THRU), in July with the shares down to 28.5p I concluded that cash was key and that there is perhaps not really a robust base from which the group can profitably grow. Today a “Half year trading update”, which commences “trading in the six month period has shown good momentum”. So what of the shares currently, from a most recent close 29p, down to below 25p?

THRU

Thruvision – full-year results argue a “breakthrough year”. Er, what about the still forecast current year loss?

Describing itself as a “leading provider of walk-through security technology”, Thruvision Group (THRU) has announced results for its year ended 31st March 2023 emphasising a “breakthrough year, which saw revenues jump by 49%… to £12.4 million” and “a robust base from which we can profitably grow the group”. So what of a current over 6.5% lower share price response to 28.5p?

THRU

Thruvision – interims, “confidence” for profitable revenue growth?

People-screening technology group Thruvision (THRU) has announced results for its half-year ended 30th September 2022, emphasising “revenue was up 41% to £2.8 million” and US Customs and Border Protection “order backlog stood at £7.4 million ($8.3 million), and further non-CBP orders totalling £1.3 million have been received since. We expect to deliver most, if not all, of this order backlog during the second half of the financial year… on track to achieve its objective of breaking even at Adjusted EBITDA this financial year for the first time”. So what of a current little-changed just above 22p share price?

THRU

Thruvision – argues “pleased” with first half trading update, but what about the balance sheet?...

Previously writing on self-styled “leading provider of ‘safe distance’ people-screening technology to the international security market” Thruvision (THRU), in April with the shares at 22.4p I concluded whilst there should still be business suitability to the operating environment, with financial performance still to prove, I continue to avoid. Today the group “is pleased to provide an update on trading for the six months ended 30 September 2021” but the shares are again lower towards 20p, so what’s going on?...

THRU

Thruvision Group – update includes “Profit Protection sub-sector performed strongly”, BUT...

Previously writing on self-styled “leading provider of "safe distance" people-screening technology to the international security market” Thruvision Group (THRU), in October with the shares rising to above 28p I concluded that whilst there should be some suitability to the current environment, the update also includes the company’s aviation sector “badly affected”. With also a more than £40 million market cap, I currently avoid. The shares last closed at 23.5p... and today a “Pre-Close Statement”...

I agree. Hopefully the police will catch up with him, if he ever returns to this country. Either way, I would say it is positive for Tom - if Mathieson doesn't return, he will not be able to harass Tom further and if he does return, then the police should be on his case.

You could be correct and you should back your own judgement. Mark Dixons judgement may prove to be correct .However at this moment in time he must be underwater by a big margin .It pays to back your own judgement .On the Minoan bb a number of very successful investors loaded up.Others followed believing they were following successful investors who must know what they are doing.

Taken together with the other stuff from Mathieson I would suggest that his comment about Tom's wife is racist.I see no other reasoning in making comments like this.I would suggest Tom that you send this to the police who I think will be interested in discussing this particular post when they catch up with Mathieson. It is a particularly unpleasant post and needs dealing with in my opinion.
