QPP

EXCLUSIVE: Rob Terry and the Quindell attempted Directors Share Dumping he and Canaccord didn’t tell you about

Rob Terry of Quindell (QPP) has always been so bullish about his stock urging us all to buy. And he buys shares too – he’d never try to sell would he? Oh yes, I have now seen and email which reveals a very dirty secret indeed. This will shock you to the core. But before we come to the attempted dump let’s deal with the pump.

Comments

  1. Have you looked at the changes in shareholdings for Terry and the other directors implicated? From a brief check on the director dealings I can find, on 3rd Jan 2012 he bought 500k shares and so he (together with family interests) was interested in 681,000,000 shares. On 28th April, post-Gotham, he bought another 500,000 shares taking him up to 684,500,000. The RAC deal was earlier than this.

  2. Tom
    That is rather exaggerated.

He did not say that share prices would double . He said 50p which is only another 5p from where it had been anyway.
We are now at 13 p
    So what ?
You would not expect directors to say they expect the share price to fall in an interview would you ? So the directors wanted to sell a few shares that they were forced to buy to try and support the share price damage you and others (shorters) were trying to inflict . They obviously could not afford them and wanted their cash back……….so what . If they had not been targeted by yourself and the shorters they probably would not have been intending on buying any shares anyway .
Your effectively saying its all right for shorters to buy and dump shares to try to move the share price but its not alright for directors to do the same to try and counter them !

A lot of hot air .

    You old windbag ;-)

  3. craig macfarlane

My core has been left fairly un shocked by that. disappointing.

  4. Duck and Dive

A tad more clarity/evidence would be welcomed.

How many Terry shares were actually sold — or do you know only about an instruction/enquiry?

Did the trade take Terry through a notifiable threshold?

How many weeks is “just a few weeks later”?

For once, my sympathies lie mainly with the pigs in the matter of share sales. They get hounded by BBs to buy shares and vilified if they sell any. Share prices soar unreasonably when some pig buys a few — and then tumble when another pig sells a few. This is usually irrational and it’s one of the pitfalls of today’s AIM market.

Imho, directors should be free to sell a modest proportion of their shares without risking the collapse of their market cap. I would be in favour of increasing the notifiable thresholds for directors to 3% so that they can raise a little cash if they need it, without signalling the end of the world.

  5. Dave Holes

Hmmm – Director thinks about selling some shares, but doesn’t. Hardly earth-shattering news.

  6. If you have the email, then why not publish it too? How much of the holding was being sold? You claim to be a journalist, but you are very economical with your facts too.

Lets face it, you are, and have continued to spread accusations that QPP is some sort of phony company with fraudulent accounts; you have but a single objective, and it obviously is not about getting at the truth, or you would back your accusations with facts. I don’t see any.

  7. Given the timing my best guess is that Gotham derailed their plans to sell. It may be that before Gotham they fully expected to sail into the main listing, but a bit of profit taking just in case, and then they cancelled plans to sell after Gotham. Or maybe initial UKLA responses to their application made them more pessimistic (would be insider trading?). The BRB interview was before the mid April application reached UKLA, so they may well have expected it to go smoothly at that time.

  8. Wouldn’t you want to sell some shares when you are sitting on £300m worth! Perfectly understandable – directors do it all the time.

  9. Bit of an own goal there TW. Are you really an investigative journalist? What about roble and gotham, what can you tell us about them, have you spoken with either, whats thei agenda etc etc. Get a grip.

  10. Kind Knievil…hmmmmmm

The FT says “brave journalism” – a Bulletin Board Moron says “own goal”.

You keep batting for the bad guys , the Sheriff knows what the pros think

    T

  11. craig macfarlane

Calling yourself the Sheriff is just ridiculous and egotistic.ShareProhet has turned into a circus recently. It is equal to the rotten ramping and de ramping that goes on on the Bulletin boards. Time to quite reading all this sh&t and if I need a Sheriff I’ll stick to Sheriff Woody – he at least shows a modicum of intelligence, respect and dignity.

    I’m out of here.

  12. KK
.I think Tom needs a good holiday , and to take the Doc with him . They both seem to have a temporary loss of their normal judgement. Over work expect .
To much writing late at night without “the cold light of day” reality check perhaps ?
Greece must be beconning soon I recon ! He must need a recharge by now , what with running two eating houses and this site as well, with a mega commute thrown in for good measure !
Man, I could not do that. It must be madder than a box of frogs at times ;-)

  13. Craig

I was labelled The Sheriff by another..

We will miss your thoughtful and incisive posts greatly and I will now go slit my wrists as I contemplate the loss of your visionary presence on this website.

    t

  14. Thanks for sharing that info and putting forward those vital questions that need to be answered.

Its too easy for people to get partisan in these debates and not surprising where personal wealths at stake. However, thats no justification for a heads in the sand attitude. That just begs for the continuaton of abuse within the Aim market.

I lost money in Sefton so take your words more seriously now.

Keep up the good work Tom.
