Purplebricks seems to me way over priced of which I have noted is a general opinion of the company on bb ect.
Did you note their was a pretty big sale (£193k) in the morning soon after the RNS and then we get the RNS regarding Bloomberg innovators list some 6 hours after the list was actually announced presumably to them and then of course the several director buys followed.
Seems to me the company was responding to a less than appreciated interims RNS and sale that put pressure on sp.
All the best….

Like many I’m not convinced the actual business model is going to deliver anything like the somewhat ambitious targets the company has set itself…….cash generative by 2017……. valuation of £500 million by 2018 …….. Income £130 million PBT £51 million by 2020 – Number of instructions 100,000 by 2020 …… the list goes on, painting a highly profitable operation with high gross margins in excess of 60% …… IF…… all goes according to plan.
However, negatives such as …….
The charge of non refundable upfront fees (or at least the fact that the vendor is contractually obliged to pay the fee at some point) even upon failure.
Insistence that conveyancing is conducted through Purplebricks.
Pressurised selling??? for insurance, internet, energy packages etc by LPE’s anxious to push up the revenue per instruction.
Might well deter a lot of potential sellers from signing up.
Apparently its cost Purplebricks circa £40 million to achieve ‘this first mover advantage’, money well spent? Guess time will tell ……. as things stand now, I’m happy watching from the sidelines with you, Steve!
