Of course, Wildcat Petroleum (WCAT) lied to investors with its very first RNS as a quoted company so what follows suggests that this wild cat is a leopard and its spots have not changed.
musicMagpie (MMAG), the company floated by COO and proven fraud enabler Ian Storey has – as predicted – served up a (lack of) profits warning which is bullshit heavy.
Wildcat Petroleum (WCAT) is the Standard Listed company that lied in its very first RNS exactly one year ago today. More importantly it is rapidly running out of cash, as I noted here, having failed to get anywhere close to executing an RTO as promised 12 months ago. It gets worse.
In their 2019 manifesto, the Tories said they would not hike Income Tax or National Insurance. Today we learn that an NI hike of 1-1.25% is planned to help shorten NHS waiting lists and to pay for care for the elderly. So the Tories lied. But it is worse than that. What is proposed is manifestly unjust, it is the transfer of wealth from those without to those with it.
Back in April and May of this year, I suggested that serial dog Bidstack (BIDS) was running on vapours. One investor I know put this to the company’s broker who assured him that the company did not need to raise for many, many months and that I was talking shite. Today Bidstack has published its results for the six months to June 30 and guess what?
There are no guests in this week's show which is sponsored by Open Orphan PLC (ORPH). It is just me and I start with yet more repentance from me. Sorry if this is boring and repetitive but some folks just dont seem to get it. Then onto what the General Election means for investors. Finally a look at 5 companies which have lied/misled by act or ommission or just committed plain fraud and the common thread that links them all, well nearly all. If you like this and can't wait seven days for more of the same and are tired of being a cheapskate you should listen to my Bearcast every day.
In scoop after scoop this week starting HERE and ending HERE I detailed how Bahamas Petroleum (BPC) was trying to raise $25 million, first at 1.4p, then at 1.2p and finally at 1p. Those who signed up at 1p were told it would be announced Wednesday then today. In fact it has been pulled as the company could not, even at 1p, get close to $25 million. But today Bahamas has quite simply LIED.
Another day and another shocking disclosure from AIM-listed Tern plc (TERN). Yesterday, at 3.10pm, after releasing details of two director buys which were trivial and showed Tuesday’s news of Device Authority’s elevation to “2018 Emerging Star” to be just a ramp (or insider trading by the chairman, take your pick!) we were told that disclosures in relation to two directors of the company had not been entirely truthful: the published directorships of the two had omitted not just the odd one which might have slipped the mind. No, it was TEN!! More to the point, it was ten insolvencies which should have been declared when they were appointed – and a further two which should have been disclosed after appointment.
Maybe Julie "Lingerie on expenses" Meyer MBE thought Winnileaks was on holiday. Winnileaks never rests. Our latest document shows Julie playing fast and loose with the truth as she ballted to avoid facing justice against the Start Up Loans Company.
In August 2015 AIM Casino listed fraud Eden Research (EDEN) announced that it had sold a license to its long time associated company Terpenetech for £600,000. On the same day it announced that it had bought a 29% stake in (worthless) Terpenetech for £920,000 in shares. I quizzed Eden's PR man Paul "Queenie" McManus of Walbrook PR about this deal which was clearly a panama pump fraud. And Queenie lied to me.
Yesterday Darren Winters and his company was in court trying to extract money from a mug punter. We funded the defence of Mr O and you can read about the massive victory for us, damning words for the judge and humiliation of Winters here. But let us first deal with Tatjana, the wife of Winters who was representing his firm in Court and lied to the Judge.
For shareholders in Strat Aero (AERO) who thought it could not get any worse as the company hurtles towards bankruptcy in less than four week's time, we have bad news: it is about to get even worse.
Last year Strat was sued by American Hulsey Smith who demonstrated clearly that the company had lied to investors. Strat said it would fight all the way but then issued 38 million shares and handed over a wodge of cash to settle with Hulsey. Yesterday it emerged that Smith was dumping as fast as he can - so expect his last 18 million shares to be lobbed out within days. But it gets worse.
It has already been demonstrated here by the publication of leaked documents that African Potash (AFPO) lied to investors via RNS in November 2015 and January (6) 2016 in order to get a placing away. Now another document has fallen into my possession which shows how Potash misled mug punters into piling into the shares on August 4 2015 as it announced "Landmark Trading Agreement with COMESA". Sadly for CEO Lyin' Chris Cleverley I have the original MOU which we can now compare and contrast with the RNS. Oh dear. Kerboom!
And so today we have another revelation, this time from Nigel, showing how the rotters at Cloudtag (CTAG) have once again lied to investors in an RNS. I say once again because we have now lost track of the number of times this has happened. And the lies have been told with deliberate purpose: to pump the share price to allow both insiders and those backing placing after placing to dump stock at inflated prices. This is fraud. Yet Nomad Cairn continues to sign off on these lies issued via RNS, to tolerate CEO Amit lying in podcasts and videos to ramp the shares. So I have written once again to Cairn and cc'd in AIM Regulation
So Cloudtag (CTAG) has been shown to have lied on a serial basis to investors, its founders have made millions of quid dumping shares without telling us, it still has no revenues and may not have a product. What could possibly go wrong? Nothing for the increasingly deranged believers. Meet Ben Alcock, today's Cloudtag moron of the day.
On May 16 Avanti Communications once again (AVN) lied to its investors. Since then it has been scrabbling around trying to complete an emergency refinancing. As the shares have tanked from 90p to 64p (and falling) since the lie is it unfair to ask the company and its bombastic CEO David Williams how things are going? First, however, lets look at the lie.
Jeepers this is a first. Whatever next, fascist PR bullies Citigate Dewe Rogerson apologising? Chris Oil fessing up to his porkies? David Lenigas has today tweeted out an admission that he has been lying to his moronic, and increasingly impoverished, followers.
If a company tells a demonstrable lie in an RNS that tells you everything you need to know. I turn now to the Greek operations of InternetQ's (INTQ) Akazoo unit. I spent an hour last night with a friend of mine in Kalamata, George the architect. He is Greek and what we discovered demonstrates that InternetQ has lied to investors.
