Tasty plc – full-year results, cash flow and balance sheet sickly

Previously writing on ‘Wildwood’ ('pizza, pasta, grill') and ‘dim t’ (pan-Asian) casual dining restaurants company Tasty (TAST), in June with the shares down from previously 5.5p to below 4p I noted share price performance tasty for the CEO, not for other investors!, concluding that ‘with £135,000 basic salary apparently not enough to sufficiently incentivise and the noted challenges now, continue to avoid / sell’. The shares most recently closed at 2.6p… and now results for the company’s year ended 25th December 2022.

Tasty plc – share price performance tasty for the CEO, not for other investors!...

Previously writing on ‘Wildwood’ and ‘dim t’ casual dining restaurants company Tasty (TAST), in March with the shares at 5.5p I noted that, with performance having benefitted from pent-up demand, disposable income and staycation drivers, it will be interesting how optimistic about even sales performance it is sensible to be now. The shares are now below 4p... and today from the company a “Directorate Changes and Conversion of B Shares” announcement.

Tasty plc – trading update, how ‘tempered’ by the challenges?...

Previously writing on ‘Wildwood’ and ‘dim t’ casual dining restaurants company Tasty (TAST), in January with the shares at 5.25p I concluded ‘I suggest it still currently a lack-of-financial-specifics avoid and a further caution on recent hospitality sector trading’. So what of a further trading update today?…

Tasty plc – trading update, how strong the sales performance?

A trading update from ‘Wildwood’ and ‘dim t’ casual dining company Tasty (TAST) includes that “since the relaxation of indoor dining restrictions, the six-week period to 27 June 2021 as a comparison to 2019 has shown strong like-for-like growth” and “takeaway and delivery sales performed well during the most recent lockdown and throughout H1”. Sounds encouraging…

Tasty plc – share price spike another warning of current markets?

A most recent, 15th January, update from ‘Wildwood’ and ‘dim t’ restaurants company Tasty plc (TAST) noted due to lockdown restrictions it “currently has open approximately 38 units providing takeaway and delivery services only” and that a bank facility “has now been drawn down”. The shares closed then at 2.85p and started this week at 3.85p. They today hitting as high as 7.75p forced a “Statement re: Share Price Movement”…

Now a “Statement re: Redundancies”...

Tasty plc – “Property Disposal and Trading Update”… and a 40%+ share price rise…

Previously writing on Wildwood and dim t restaurants company Tasty plc (TAST), I concluded in September, with the shares currently further down to around 3.5p, the market cap is circa £5 million. As such, I’ll continue to monitor how the asset value holds up but the noted trading numbers and environment still currently see me avoid. The shares have gone on to slide below 3p, but are currently up to 3.85p on the back of “Property Disposal and Trading Update”

Tasty – 2017 trading update states “in line”, so why the precipitous share price decline?

Trading Update for the 2017 calendar year from Tasty plc (TAST) includes that “trading for the period has been in line with expectations”. However, the shares are currently a further more than 5% lower below 30p having commenced 2017 at more than 140p. Hmmm…
