£30m bailout at 20p for IQE after catastrophic results and a warning: its shagging all the sheep yet again

Last night, after hours, Cardiff chip maker IQE (IQE) published its results for calendar 2022 and a warning about how dismal trading has been since. With its borrowings ballooning it also announced a placing at just 20p which has completed today raising £30 million. Warned of the dire consequence of the funding failing – and assuming that there will be few takers for a £3 million Rex retail offer – misguided existing backers such as Lombard Odier scurried to more than stand their corner. You cannot say that I have not warned you often enough. Those who ignored my numerous warnings, the sheep, have yet again been shagged by the Welsh.

BREAKING: Purplebricks business sold for £1 to Strike – shareholders to get just 0.65p next year! (or less!)

Oh dear, oh dear. Shares in the online estate agency Purplebrcks (PURP) once traded at more than 500p as Neil Woodford filled his boots (with other folks cash) and commentators such as the shop worker Paul Scott gushed about how disruptive the cash guzzling company that ripped off its customers by taking payment even though most properties were not sold, was going to be. Today the business, nearly all the assets (bar £5.5 million of cash) and the liabilities are being sold for just one quid to SPV Strike. What will shareholders get? If they are lucky 0.65p in Q1 2024.

KERBOOM: Ouzo at Sheriff Towers – it is essentially game over at Purplebricks

Neil Woodford and Thirsty Paul Scott took the knee at the disruptive potential of online estate agent Purplebricks (PURP). In latter years the deadwood press blew smoke up the arses of the CEO and CFO as they were both women. Girl Power! More ESG vicar? Of course, the numbers never stacked up and the fundamental business offering was dire so shareholders and customers both got screwed. Those of us who do actually look at how a business runs and at hard numbers may be sexist old dinosaurs for doing so but we have another win. Today’s fess up from the birds in charge is grim.

IQE – another shocking warning, more ouzo justified in North Wales, but its cabbage water time in South Wales

For years supporters of IQE (IQE) such as thirsty Paul Scott and our own Malcolm Stacey argued that it was a tech play and this justified fancy doo-dah valuations. I argued that it was simply a manufacturer operating in a cyclical commodity space and a not very good one at that. Today comes another dire lack of profits warning which will be enough to turn the bulls to drink and is a good reason for this sober bear to enjoy a small ouzo tonight.

Purplebricks warns and this is just the beginning of the pain and of the end game

Some bien pensants like Neil Woodford and top share blogger, Paul Scott, insisted that Purplebricks (PURP) was a long-term disruptor in the Estate Agencies world. The reality? It was a piss-poor way to sell houses, and could only survive in a fizzingly hot housing market. Well, guess what?

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Kefi should sack 2 old men in suits and hire Amanda Van Dyke & ANO

I start with good news concerning my mother-in-law, which suggests my current living - where folks pay £5.99 a month to hurl abuse at me - is maybe not such a desirable career. Then onto Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI), and what I have told 'arry Bloody Adams should happen next, in light of his latest e-mail to me. Then onto Vast Resources (VAST) and Eden Research (EDEN), not Pharma as I misspoke in the podcast. Finally, Gear4Music (G4M), which is enough to turn fanboys Paul Scott and Malcolm Stacey to drink.  Vindicated yet again as a bear, I warn of worse to come, following today's bullshit-heavy trading statement.

Balchder Cymru IQE: ci gyda chwain yn rhybuddio eto

Just how many profits, or rather lack of profits, warnings has IQE (IQE) issued during  the 21 years since its 2000 IPO at c400p. The shares are today 40p after the Pride of the Welsh tech sector added another warning to its, already extensive, collection. I hope that folks have listened to my warnings over many years that this is a dog with fleas, or ci gyda chwain as we say here in the post-industrial, rain sodden, second world province.

Purplebricks…timber! Ouzo tonight for a vindicated permabear

When I read Purplebricks (PURP) CEO Vic Darvey prattling on about a solid platform to achieve longer term targets my mind immediately switches to thoughts of Cheryl Cole. I feel that I too offer an increasingly solid platform (boom boom) and I have my targets too. Mr Scott repeatedly argued, normally via 3AM thirsty tweet rants, that my tipping the shares was holding them back and so when I advised readers to bank 100% gains at 34p (and did so myself as well) he argued this was awful advice but thought it good for the share price which he saw at 65p+. We captured the moment Marcus received the MySquar report in the picture below and as you can see HERE, you supplied many suitable captions. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: happy Hop-tu-naa, my No 1 tip for dealing with Trick or Treaters

Happy Hop-tu-naa to any listeners in the Isle of Man, and happy Halloweebn to the rest of you. I start the podcast with a handy tip on dealing with the Trick or Treat menace. This afternoon I head off with Joshua to deal with the bastards at Barclays (see yesterday's bearcast) and I will report back on that tomorrow. I look at Crawshaw (CRAW), I3 Energy (I3E) doing a Cathy Newman, at Photonstar Led (PSL)) which is toast, Online Blockchain (OBC), at FastJet (FJET), lessons for Neil Woodford from GYG (GYG) and elsewhere and why Thirsty Paul Scott and others should keep December 3 free.

In today's podcast I start with a brief but of macro babble then look at RM2 (RM2) specifiocally but  also at the wider Neil Woodford stable* of dogs. Then I discuss whether I'd buy into Patisserie Holdings (CAKE) at 50p. It is certainly not the same as Conviviality (CVR) which Thirsty Paul Scott bet heavily on the day before it went bust. There are similarities but 1 big difference.

Big Dave Lenigas & Lyin' Steve Sanderson Horse Hill Caption Contest - The Result

Yesterday I asked you for suitable captions for this picture of Big Dave Lenigas and Lyin' Steve Sanderson of UK Oil & Gas (UKOG)  standing next to a tanker at Horse Hill. Sosandar – after the pump the dump and an old chestnut of an excuse

Broker Shore Cap insisted that shares in Sosandar (SOS) were worth 50p. Thirsty Paul Scott gushed about how they were potentially worth far more and after such massive pumping the stock hit the mid forties at which point it was valued at around thirty times historic sales. Insanity. And then the shares started sliding, falling from 44p at the start of this month to 36p yesterday. That must have been enough to turn anyone to drink. Whatever could have been happening… oh yes…

Champion value destroyers Audioboom issue another dire warning dressed up in bullshit- bankruptcy looms

Oh dear, oh dear. At what point will those who have backed this crock of shit decide that it is not worth chucking any more cash down this black hole. I know that free speech denying boss Rob Proctor and his relatives on the payroll need jobs but but this company is just a disaster zone. As he wakes up for a meeting with Karma today, Proctor tries to polish the turd but today’s lack of profits/almost out of cash warning is his worst yet. Sosandar – AGM statement offers no numbers but plenty of encouragement

AIM-listed online ladies clothing purveyor Sosandar (SOS) had its AGM today and offered a few nuggets of information which suggest that things are pretty much on track with management expectations. Since we already know that management is “very comfortable” with the forecast numbers offered by house broker Shore Capital (I would translate that as meaning easy to beat!) and we know those numbers (see HERE). So that looks pretty positive. Mind you, we were not offered actual numbers for summer trading as the Adam Reynolds computer keyboard struck again!

TrakM8 AGM – another day another profits warning on the way

My long term bearishness about TrakM8 (TRAK) a company that issues misleading RNS’s, makes ludicrous acquisitions as it racks up its debts and never translates profits (a matter of opinion) into cash (a matter of fact, unless you are an AIM China fraud) is well documented here.  Of course,  Thirsty Paul Scott had cosy chats with the management and knew better than a "nutcase of the first order". Today the shares have tanked to a new multi year low after another dire statement.

Sosandar – share price going a bit mad, I’ve sold some more (but still have some)

AIM-listed online ladies fashion wear start-up Sosandar (SOS) has seen its shares race even further ahead, as I predicted last week. At the weekend, with the shares a noggin below the 40p mark, I said it would be time to sell another tranche into what I expected would be a bit of a rally into the AGM when I would imagine a trading statement will be forthcoming. Today (thus far) the shares have clocked up yet another record high of 45.5p in the middle and I helped myself, selling a lump at 42.44p. But I am still holding over a third of my original holding.

Sosandar – is Tom Winnifrith “nutso” to sell out? Possibly, but it is time to sell another slice

My piece on AIM-listed Sosandar (SOS) Friday seems to have sparked a bit of interest. Noting that the shares had closed at an all-time high and with the date of the AGM just announced (and presumably another trading update), I reckoned it was a strong hold with a view to selling a portion at 40p. The shares duly put on another 10%, causing a smile at Deputy Sheriff Towers, but Tom Winnifrith sold all his Sosandar shares. Meanwhile Thirsty Paul Scott thinks it is a “hold forever” stock. Sam was on fine form and I shall unleash that podcast in a couple of weeks time but it was awesome.  I pick up on a few themes from it and discuss Ascent Resources (AST), Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO) - read Nigel's brilliant piece, about a company where I own 1 share so I can attend GMs,  HERE - and Strat Aero (AERO). If you like bearcasts then remember that at UK Investor on April 21 one of many highlights will be a live bearcast with myself and Paul Scott. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Why is my good friend Jim Mellon's Port Erin trading at a chasmous discount to NAV?

As old Jim Mellon is such a good friend I thought I'd have a butchers. Is it because of more problems at the Diabetic Boot Company or is it a cash crisis at SalvarX (SALV) or at Regent Pacific? What is it about this related party nest of snakes that is making investors shun shares in Jim's Port Erin (PEBI)? I discuss in detail. I also look at MySquar (MYSQ) as the fraud skids to a new low, Ecsc (ECSC), the cyber junk play, FastJet (FJET) - another bailout placing ahoy - and old Clem's spoof Online BlockChain (OBC) as it tanks again. And then its RIP Conviviality (CVR), formal notice of wipeout for those who punt on the back of a brokers note and for other investors. If you like bearcasts then remember that at UK Investor on April 21 one of many highlights will be a live bearcast with myself and Paul Scott. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - why won't the Mrs come to see the new Death Wish as her birthday treat?

Only kidding! Death Wish, which is not, as you might think, hapless Mayor Khan's new tourist promo video for London, is not out until Friday. So I gave the Mrs a far more suitable present for her birthday but what to give my Labour party loyalist sister Comrade N?. Back to the Mrs: I sense that I shall be watching the new Bruce Willis movie alone. I digress. In today's bearcast I look at Weatherley International (WTI), the fraud MySquar (MYSQ), Pathfinder Minerals (PFP),  Air Partner (AIR), Sosandar (SOS), IFG Group (IFP), IQE (IQE) - where I try not to be tasteless as I flag a difficult issue but apologise in advance if I offend anyone - and Purplebricks (PURP). If you like bearcasts then remember that at UK Investor on April 21 one of many highlights will be a live bearcast with myself and Paul Scott. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: the investment case for gold and two shares I am likely to buy next week

Tomorrow is the birthday of the Mrs so there may not be a bearcast. If not I shall be back on Wednesday morning ahead of a flight to New York on Global Shorting Conspiracy business. In today's podcast I look at why gold like my Wisdens is an investment. Then I discuss two shares in AIM stocks which, for very different reasons, I am considering buying next week and I'd like to thank one of my colleagues for - perhaps - giving me a chance to do so very cheaply. If you like bearcasts then remember that at UK Investor on April 21 one of many highlights will be a live bearcast with myself and Paul Scott. As today is the day to celebrate resurrection, I thought it fitting to comment on a couple of stocks, namely Sosandar (SOS) and Woodford Patient Capital Trust (WPCT). Despite a difficult first quarter for the pair of them, I expect them to laugh death in the face and crack on from here bigger and better than ever.

Bad language alert. The results are dire and demonstrate again the extent of the fraud that the useless wankers at AIM Regulation, Nomad SP Angel and the FCA are prepared to overlook. They show the extent of the lies told by CEO Eric Schaer. And they show a company that is running out of other people's money fast, facing a death spiral blizzard of share sales and where everyone involved deserves to burn in hell. I look at Mosman (MSMN) which has had terrible results and imagine the conversations round at SP Angel as poor Zac Phillips is forced to pen another buy note on this POS. Video: Optibiotix boss O'Hara on Blow Job TV - a BUY despite the Proactive jerk off

You know that I view soft soap paid for interviews with folks like Proactive in a deeply negative way. But Steve O' Hara of Optibiotix (OPTI) comes, I believe, across well and explains the import of recent announcements. In this interview O Hara gives the sort of hard numbers I have used in my writings on this stock. Paul Scott shows an extremer double standard in describing this as "nudge, nudge wink, wink" - I just called it talking to a company which is what anyone sensible would do. I explain why Scott is talking cock and applying double standards HERE. As for Optibiotix, do your maths listen to the whbole interview ( the last 30 seconds are very interesting), the shares are incredibly cheap at 62p offer and will go to well over 100p this year if half of what O'Hara says in this interview comes good. Paul Scott on why he's short of ASOS

Some posts on our comments section are so interesting that they merit a wider audience. IQE Stands for I Question Everything. Why Uncle Tom is Wrong this Time

Hello, Share Cavaliers. It’s rare that I keep returning to shares I’ve commended to you. But the case of IQE (IQE) is so intriguing and knife-edge that I think it might be worth keeping under review. As I write the share is up another 6%. It has been seesawing up and down, rather alarmingly, for a few weeks now. Uncle Tom had a go at my support for this stock in a recent bearcast. He argued that the shares are hopelessly over-valued and to take profits might be the more prudent course.

IQE
IQE

Interesting bearcast on IQE, but I'm afraid you're completely wrong on this says Paul Scott

I am, on balance, bearish on IQE (IQE) - not as a slam dunk it'sgoing to zero - I just think the shares are seriously overvalued as I explained in a weekend bearcast HERE. But Britain's top share blogger Paul Scott disagrees. The great man writes:

SHOCKER: Corporate Failures and Censures - the red flags at Purplebricks you ignore at your peril

Neil Woodford, Paul Scott and the man who compares himself to Warren Buffett, Roger Lawson, have no doubt done full due diligence on the manangement at Purplebricks (PURP), notably its founders, the Bruce brothers. Or maybe not...

TrakM8 talks shite - evil PR maestro Reg Hoare at it again

I wonder if my pal Paul Scott, the UK's top share blogger, has headed up to the post industrial grim urban wastlelands of Coventry for the AGM and investor open day of TrakM8 (TRAK). As someone who grew up near there I would not wish such a fate on anyone let alone a sensitive soul like Paul. Anyhow if a day in the place that gave us "Living in a ghost town" is not bad enough he will also have to digest a trading statement crafted by evil PR genius and crony capitalist Reg Hoare which ...leave a lot to be desired in term transparency. I would expect nothing less.

The Nomates Neil Woodford 2001 excuse/defence - it's just a Maginot line

It is quite amazing to see just how few friends fund manager Neil Woodford has in the City these days. It is almost as if I am starting to feel that he is a kindred spirit. Neil, how about we have a joint Square Mile Christmas party for all of our friends in a telephone kiosk somewhere? The vast fees Nomates has charged for delivering three years of dismal underperformance do not play well but it is the arrogant insistence that Mr Market is always wrong because Nomates knows better that has unleashed such waves of schadenfreude after his latest disasters. But he still has one or two defenders who say "aha remember 2001" - but this Maginot defence does not wash.

Purplebricks Is it time to Sell at 470p or Buy the Watchdog blip. I am leaning to the Former.

I wrote recently that I wouldn’t want to be short Fevertree (FEVR) or Purplebricks (PURP) on the basis that clearly crazy valuations have a habit of getting crazier.

FairPoint to go bust, three lessons to learn and a classic outburst from the UK's top share blogger

First up I must congratulate Paul Scott for sticking with and, I think averaging down, on Revolution Bars (RBG) which earlier this week received a tentative 200p share offer. Paul was right and I was wrong. It happens. I guess my, almost teetotal existence and his extensive field work gave him the edge. I am sure his session with Nigel Wray at UK Investor 2018 (as well as his live bearcast with me) will justify attendance on its own. But just as a reminder we do not get it all right, here is a classic Scott twitter outburst, regarding Fairpoint (FRP) which said that it would be calling in administrators today.

TrakM8– still burning cash & still promising jam tomorrow, this is just a bad business

My contention, questioned by certain other well known share bloggers, is that TrakM8 (TRAK) is what Warren Buffett would define as a "bad company." That is not saying that it is a fraud. It is not, although it has told untruth's in RNS's and raised cash to buy some strange old businesses. It is bad because it just does not generate free cashflow. Paul Scott, PR crony capitalist Reg Hoare or the paid corporate shrills can bang on abourt earnings per share till the cows come home but earnings are a matter of opinion, cash is a matter of fact. Trakm8 yesterday published its, piss poor, results for the year ended 31 March 2017.

Notes from Underground: All creature great and small, Tom poisons the lot

In the past seven days, 43,154 unique readers read 70,771 pages on ShareProphets. The circulation of the Investors Chronicle is c30,000. Shares is less than half of that. To our critics who think we do not count, we say think again.

UK Investor Show 2017 raises £14,500 for Woodlarks - so far! More to come

There are some people who think the stockmarket and shares business is like robbing a bank - all about making money however you go about it. But at a time of year when many of us think about a man who gave the ultimate gift, his life, for others we think that business should also be about giving. And that brings us to Woodlarks and the UK Investor Show. It started with Paul Scott who donated his, very small, speaker fee...

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Live Bearcast with Paul Scott at the UK Investor Show

Paul accidentally went to the wrong venue so Tom hosted the show by himself to start, but then Paul arrived and so did the fireworks. This is a special live Bearcast recorded in front of a live audience at the UK Investor Show 1 April 2017.

Video: Making a splash as only a heavyweight share blogger can - Paul Scott in action

One of Paul Scott's most endearing qualities is that he can laugh at himself as the video below makes clear. But he is also a razor sharp brain and will be chairing the session with Britain's Buffett, Nigel Wray, and the UK's top small cap fund manager of 2016/17 Paul Mumford at UK Investor Show on Saturday. There will be fireworks then. Meanwhile....

A One Off: Meet and talk 1-2-1 with Nigel Wray, the man dubbed Britain's Buffett only at UK Investor on April 1

Normally Nigel Wray turns up at UK Investor, talks and leaves. This year - our 15th anniversary party - is different. He will be there from start to finish and when not on stage that opens up a unique opportunity for those attending on April 1. For more than 40 years, Nigel , the man dubbed Britain's Buffett, has been a stockmarket legend for his ability to generate stellar returns not by wild gambling on mining punts or biotech start ups but by rigid value investing. Like the Original Buffett, the Sage of Omaha, Wray is a bottom up value investor who buys and holds. Would you like to know what he thinks is the cheapest share in London? Would you like a one to one chat with Nigel?

Notes from Underground: It's called crowdfunding when we do it

Some of the bulletin board morons have mocked ShareProphets for asking for donations to the Fighting Fund, accusing Tom of having the begging bowl out. The truth is: it works and the alternative is terrifying.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Paul Scott vs Tom Winnifrith - the bearcast rumble in the AIM Jungle is scheduled

Yes, I shall be recording my first ever joint bearcast - if one excludes ones where Oakley has chipped in. The date is April 1, my opponent is Paul Scott. Will it be TrakM8 or checkmate? The venue London in a new bonus session at UK Investor Show. I explain more about this total one-off in today's podcast. It is 4 weeks to the day to UK Investor and tickets are 85% booked out so if you are not booked in book NOW! On this podcast I also look at Brave Bison (BBSN) and TrakM8 (TRAK) and how cost cutting can itself prompt a cash crisis. I look at Audioboom (BOOM) with a more generous eye. I look at Glenwick (GWIK), now booted off AIM, which stinks. And I look at the idea of investing in shite companies to make money, ref Red Leopard (RLH) and Cynical Bear. This also brings me to ECR (ECR) where we own shares and I now see arch ramper Big Gib is on board. Over to you Big Gob do not let me stop you!

Bearcast

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - naughty naughty naughty Paul Scott - lets set the record straight

I felt the need for a mid afternoon nap after a draining twitter exchange with Britain's top share blogger Paul Scott in which he lambasted me for what he thought I said about his calls on TrakM8 (TRAK) in an article he admitted that he had not actually read. Suffice to say he was barking up the wrong tree. I set the record straight  and look again at TrakM8 and why Paul would be wrong to buy back in on the day my original analysis was 100% vindicated - as you can see HERE. I look at Blenheim Natural Resources (BNR) and issue dire warnings. I wonder what is up at Cloudbuy (CBUY). I refer to my postcard on my own website which has just gone up. When is a foreigner not a foreigner and the silliest Guardian reading remoaning bitch in Britain HERE

Highwayman

Roger Lawson at ShareSoc is at it again

ShareSoc does some great work for private investors. Sadly its former chairman Roger  Lawson of blinkx & Globo fame- taken apart brilliantly by Paul Scott HERE -  continues to behave in a way that is  not quite right. He was at it again last night and also a week or so ago.

Tom Winnifrith: More than 150 reasons to attend the 15th Birthday Party at UK Investor Show on April 1: Book NOW!

April 1 really is the date for the UK Investor Show which is now the 15th time that Nigel Wray, aka Britain's Buffett, and I have been involved in staging such an event. So it is a birthday party as well. And with MBN, the incredibly well regarded events management firm owned by Nigel's daughter Lucy, now in charge this will be a knockout event. Indeed here are more than 150 reasons why anyone serious about making money from shares must be there!

NCC
NCC

NCC Group – All Credibility Gone? So asks Roger Lawson of ShareSoc

Roger Lawson the chairman of ShareSoc is of course a great expert on tech stocks. That was why he was able to dismiss so easily criticism from myself, Ben Edelman and Paul Scott about blinkx (BLNX) and Globo (GBO), two of his big holdings. Now it seems that another "Lawson winner" emerges - NCC Group (NCC) which had an awful statement yesterday as I explained HERE.

TrakM8 - Another disastrous profits warning: how close is it to breaching bank covenants?

All the shit I got when I warned y'all repeatedly what a crap company TrakM8 (TRAK) is almost seems worth it now after yet another awful profits warning. No doubt share blogger Paul Scott, crony capitalist PR Man Reg Hoare and uber-bullish analyst Lorne Daniel of Finncap have already ordered that crates of ouzo be sent to me at once as my top analysis is vindicated again. It is what this warning does not say that should terrify you. Things will get worse.

AIM FRAUD Cloudtag - a challenge to CEO Amit Ben Haim: debate me in public & Ill give you a gift worth £5k

I have stated repeatedly that AIM Bulletin Board darling Cloudtag (CTAG) is a fraud. It has repeatedly lied to investors to help it raise cash. But I have an offer and a challenge to its CEO Amit Ben Haim which is worth £5000 to Cloudtag.

Nigel Wray & Tom Winnifrith: Join us on April 1 at UK Investor - our fifteen year party

It is now fifteen years since Nigel Wray & Tom Winnifrith started doing one day investor shows together. The first was in a snow covered Westminster now they celebrate a decade and a half of working together with what will be the most spectacular event yet. It will be the biggest with 121 companies exhibiting on the day. There is the strongest ever speaker line up and a raft of free prize draws as well as a gift worth £18 for everyone attending. So with 50% of the 2,500 tickets already reserved hurry up and grab yours today!

New sessions at UK Investor with Tom Winnifrith on Cloudtag and David Lenigas on Africa and UK Oil - new ticket offer

We are delighted to announce that UK Investor Show will be running two new sessions covering two companies of massive investor interest. The show takes place on April 1 (no joke) in London and already boasts a top panel of keynote speakers including Britain's Buffett Nigel Wray, top fund manager Mark Slater, the Queen of Tech Vin Murria, the UK's top share blogger Paul Scott and the UK's oldest fund manager as well as top bears Lucian Miers, Matt Earl and from New York Gabriel Grego and the Sheriff of AIM, Tom Winnifrith.

Bearcast

Tom Winnifrith bonus bearcast - Paul Scott you are 100% in denial

Paul Scott gets some things right I get wrong ( Boohoo!). And he is an incredibly talented analyst and writer and a good bloke. But his reaction to the TrakM8 (TRAK) shocker earlier is just nonsensical and has annoyed me. Paul is just in denial as I explain in detail. No doubt the health guru would also disapprove strongly with my Birthday pudding today which was just amazing.

Bearcast

Tom Winnifrith Birthday Bearcast - where's my ffing ouzo Paul Scott & Chris Bailey's a freak

I start by explaining why Chris Bailey of Financial Orbit is a freak!. it is all to do with Star Wars. Then it is onto TrakM8 (TRAK) following my kerboom article of earlier. I make specific points about Paul Scott's favourite dog but then general points about why company's acquire and why that turns me off.

Spunk the Mon(k)ey - TrakM8 disaster acquisition exposed - told y'all

It is my birthday today and the TrakM8(TRAK) supporters club of top blogger Paul Scott, crony capitalist PR man Reg Hoare and tech analyst Lorne Daniel of FinnCap need each to order a bottle of ouzo to send me with a note saying "you were right - you is da king". Subsidiary accounts for Route Monkey have finally emerged and are truly diabolical just as I predicted to hoots of derision from the supporters club.

Notes from Underground: People are making money on AIM, thanks to this one old weird trick

One of the comments made by bulletin board/Twitter morons that I always find mystifying is: "Oh, you guys are just trying to get page views."

Bearcast

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - can Paul Scott end my confusion and will Rob Terry be arrested in 2017?

I am watching high quality TV like Midsomer Murders as the Mrs is away. I am bombarded with adverts for online fashion and holiday booking and am terribly confused - I need health guru Paul Scott to help explain what is going on as something is just not right. Then I look at when the criminal gangs at Quindell (QPP), Globo (GBO) and Worthington (WRN) will face justice. At least one might be in 2017. And I ask why Cloudtag (CTAG) morons want to send cash to a convicted criminal who appears to be living in a £3 million house despite BOTH he and his wife going through bankruptcty. It's all very odd.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: the storm clouds cover the mountains where the Greek Hovel lies

Though I may have pneumonia thanks to Paul Scott, I am now safely in Kalamata looking up at the mountains where I live when in Greece and the storm clouds are ominous. So back to the stockmarket I look at Finnaust (FAM), Audioboom (BOOM), Avanti Communications (TOAST), Condor Gold (CNR), Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO), Webis (WEB) and Anglesey Mining (AYM) which is spouting bullshit today as it places.

Bearcast

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Is Mosman Oil & Gas the worst run shitty little AIM oil company?

I must rush. Woodlarks beckons and then it is Greece. But first I look at: Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO) in light of last night's bombshell HERE, TrakM8 (TRAK ) - chatting to Paul Scott - Pantheon Resources (PANR), Bushveld Minerals (BMN), FastForward (FFWD), Jim Mellon's reported comments and Mosman oil & Gas (MSMN).

Bearcast

Tom Winnifrith Bonus Bearcast: TrakM8 - disastrous interims, profits crash, cashburn horrific - 100% vindicated

"Lorne Daniel at FinnCap, PR man Reg Hoare, Nomad Ed Frisby, Broker Joanna Scott, Edison Research, Proactive Investors we have beaten them all, we have beaten them all!. Paul Scott can you hear me? Paul Scott ... your boys took a hell of a beating! Your boys took a hell of a beating!" Yes The Sheriff of AIM is again 100% vindicated and it is ouzo o'clock already thanks to dog TrakM8 (TRAK)! But where next for the shares? All is discussed in full in this bonus podcast.

Bearcast

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Health guru Paul Scott offers stern warning on morbidly obese cat Oakley

I start with the urgent matter of the weight of my three legged cat Oakley and I take stern warnings from health guru Paul Scott. But there are problems to deal with which the guru may not appreciate. Then I comment again on African Potash (AFPO) which has suffered the usual fate of those PLCs who threaten me with fascist lawyers' letters. Then I work my through Senterra (SEN), Mitie (MTO), China Africa (CAF), Arria (NLG), Instem (INS) and LXB retail (LXB).

Bearcast

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Crooked Hillary, insider dealing and the Mrs fiasco

In this podcast I look at the Hillary Clinton bombshell and what it means for the election and shares, something I cover in more detail HERE. Then, for the benefit of Paul Scott, I set the record straight on ShareSoc - I have every right to say it should not get the taxpayer cash it demands. Then I explain insider dealing and the difference between how I treated Reach4Entertainment (R4E) and Cyan (CYAN). Finally I suggest that heads must roll at Northland over the Management Resource Solutions (MRS) scandals.

Notes from Underground: Wearables will fly out the door this Christmas, unless they are Cloudtag branded

There are two stories that you should be reading this week: one from the top 10 - Cloudtag and the guaranteed $5.2 million order that is not going to happen - think Christmas which is as big a slap to the noggin to the morons as can be given.  The other is READ THIS NOW: Give Woodlarks a few quid today to transform someone's Christmas. Whether you had a profitable year or a lamentable one, read this and make your own Karma account will get a bonus.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Should I admit that "waterboarding" Paul Scott was right about Boohoo

I start with a discussion of gold versus Sovereign debt and refer to a table at the bottom of an article I penned today on the delusional poisonous midget Nicola Sturgeon and her welfare addicted countrymen HERE. Then it is onto TrakM8 (TRAK) but more importantly Boohoo (BOO). Will Paul Scott concede defeat on the former, should I show humility and concede defeat on the latter, just to avoid another session of retail gross margins waterboarding. What do you think? Cripes that reminds me that we picked up some Boohoo shares in the Dragons Den session last year at UK Investor. Bank gains, methinks.

TrakM8 share price slide continues - shows director buying meaningless

As we know, my good pal Paul Scott bought shed loads of TrakM8 (TRAK) shares at c220-230p following what he termed a "Winni-wobble", that is to say share price weakness caused by my high quality investigative and forensic journalism. With the shares dipping another 10% today to 165p-170p without me saying a dickie bird, perhaps Paul wants to average down? I wouldn't.

TrakM8 Trading Statement: More joy for myself, a bear, than for Paul Scott

I am aware that Britain's top share blogger Mr Paul Scott is flying back from an extended Greek holiday this morning. When he lands at Gatwick and checks his smartphone he will see that shares in his beloved TrakM8 (TRAK) have dived by 10% today, to just 200p to sell after a piss poor trading statement. I hope Paul has some duty free ouzo for the Sheriff as I think he owes me an apology on this one. Hmmmmm I can almost smell the aniseed now...Scotty you know where to send it.

Bearcast

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - is Highlands Natural the biggest scam on the AIM casino?

In today's bearcast I start with a brief look at Highlands Natural Resources (HNR), explaining why I knew it was a wrong 'un as soon as I saw who its management team included. I have two follow up articles on today's collapse to come but suffice to say that at anything above a couple of pence its shares are a slam dunk sell. I also look at Aureus Mining (AUE), cover Servelec (SERV) and what it says about equities in general. Steve covers it in detail very well HERE. Then it is onto Fitbug (FITB) and how today's scandal at Thor Mining (THR) begs AIM for a big change in the rules to stop mug punters getting shafted as poor Paul Scott was at Cyan (CYAN). I also have another warning of doom and more questions for Lord Tim Razzall of disgraced Boxhill (BOX) - target price 0p.

Bearcast

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - Oy Oy Paul Scott - what the feck is happening at TrakM8

Why are shares in TrakM8 (TRAK) plunging. This is not a "Winni-wobble." The company needs to make a statement either officially or via its spokesman on earth, Paul Scott. Elsewhere, after a visit to Mistra which was amazing, I look at Gulf Keystone (GKP), death merely postponed, Avanti Communications (AVN ) - ditto - Edenville Energy (EDL) ditto and Cyan (CYAN) where I explain who is shafting Joe Retail: brokers and management.

Breaking: Provexis - working on Placing, will issue shares at 0.15p ( maybe lower)

Ooops a daisy another day and another scoop and another hugely discounted placing revealed by yours truly. Apologies to Paul Scott if he was suckered into this one too by a ramptastic trading statement on May 31 but with shares in Provexis (PXS)  trading at 0.26p-0.29p this perennial uber-dog with fleas is passing the hat around again. Time for a statement hapless Nomad & broker Cenkos?
