Note to Eurasia owning morons – this is how due diligence works

It is now seven and a half months since the supposed purchaser of Eurasia Mining's (EUA) assets completed its due diligence.  There is still no bid.  Today, All Star Minerals (ASMO) - a penny stock of which I am no fan - shows how it is done. This is an easy lesson for the morons.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Time to double up on the Shield Therapeutics final collapse, the money's almost all gone!

On 18 February, at 25.5p to sell, the big bear call was greeted with abuse from BB savants, who, unsurprisingly, always know better.  Shares in Shield (STX) are now 14.6p, and the final collapse to c. 5p is now set to begin. Double up on your shorts.  In this podcast, I discuss Argo Blockchain (ARB); Nostra Terra Oil & Gas (NTOG) and its unsavoury CEO, Matt Lofgran - praise be the Lord; then, I look at Genflow Biosciences (GENF), as its shares continue to tank; Challenger Energy (CHAL); Eurasia Mining (EUA); and Petropavlovsk (POG), where the target remains 0p.  Finally, I remind you that Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks is just 4 days away, and we are at 34% of the target. If among the 92% of listeners yet to donate, do give a fiver (or a tenner), HERE.

It is now seven months and two days since the supposedly credible buyer of the assets of Eurasia Mining (EUA) completed its due diligence but still there has been no offer. How long can AIM allow this farce to continue?  A proper bidder makes a bid and formalises it as soon as DD is done! Meanwhile perhaps we might get clarification on M&A head honcho Dmitry Suschov.

Eurasia – suspension lifted, an insane twist but what did the Nomad REALLY say to the moron?

On Monday 16 May at 7.40 AM, shares in AIM listed Bulletin board darling Eurasia Mining (EUA) were temporarily suspended at just under 8p “pending an announcement.” At 6.18PM on Tuesday 17th  (today) came that announcement. Eurasia “confirms it has no material new developments to notify” and so trading will resume on Wednesday 18th. So the shares were suspended for two days for an announcement that nothing had changed. That is insane. It gets more insane.

Here is an anniversary cake for Eurasia Mining

With thanks to a generous Banksta, here’s a Eurasia Mining (EUA) birthday cake for tomorrow.  This is to celebrate the fifth month anniversary of the farce that is Eurasia claiming that its sale process is still ongoing even though due diligence was supposedly completed on 28th October last year and that a British company selling assets in Russia, almost certainly to Russians, is going to be able to transact in the current climate.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: I despise Roman Abramovitch but stealing his assets is just wrong & a bad precedent

Obviously I do hope Chelsea goes bust and is docked 500 points and finds itself playing next season in the National League so allowing two clubs to be promoted which might just include Wrexham. But what is happening to the Abramovitch sets a dangerous precedent. I discuss this with reference to Evraz  (EVR). I look at Parsley Box (MEAL) and the role of certain institutional investors and also FinnCrap (FCAP) in some detail. I predict Parsley will go bust by the autumn notwithstanding today’s dishonest bailout.  I look at Oxford Cannibinoid (OTCP) and the growing scandal there  and also comment on Eurasia (EUA), then at Chill Brands (CHLL) and that other Standard Listed fraud Supply@ME Capital (SYME). I discuss Summerway Capital (SWC) and Argo Blockchain (ARB) but I start with a parents dilemma.

Eurasia Mining RNS - the stench of desperation

This morning’s RNS  from Eurasia Mining (EUA) smacks of desperation.  It’s missing any update on the only topic that shareholders are interested in: the sale; or the “liquidity event” as Eurasia referred to it in its 14th of February RNS.  We’ve repeatedly highlighted issues with the supposed sale here on ShareProphets, but it should now be crystal clear that the political risk in Russia is off the chart, meaning that no non-Russian company is ever going to buy a mining asset in Russia!  And any Russian company will simply do what Putin tells them to do.

Eurasia - four months of bidder silence, this defies belief

Tomorrow will be four months since Eurasia Mining (EUA) announced that its supposed “Buyer” had completed due diligence for its supposed asset sale.  It’s two years and four months since Eurasia first announced that its assets were up for sale and yet still, shareholders have no idea what assets are for sale, what the sale price is, who the supposed Buyer is or when a sale might complete.  Given that Eurasia is mining in Russia it should come as no surprise that its share price has collapsed since my last update – down another 36% since then, a total decline of 64% from the 40.5p share price peak in November 2020.

Eurasia – no impact from sanctions claim already looks lame, shares tank but still a massive short

After hours yesterday Eurasia Mining (EUA) insisted that it faced no impact from the sanctions imposed on Russia by the EU, UK and US.  A few hours later Russia launched air and missile attacks on Ukraine and tanks started rolling in for what looks like a full invasion. Eurasia shares have slumped this morning by another 31% to 11.6p but that still values this company with minimal revenues and a monstrous cash guzzle at £349 million or almost £400 million on a fully diluted basis. Eurasia Mining, the Ukraine and game theory

So Russian troops have ”invaded” the Ukraine. Well to be accurate they have entered the two districts which are overwhelmingly Russian and where the folks almost certainly want to be part of Russia. And to be totally accurate, Russian troops have actually already been there since 2014. But listening to the BBC earlier let’s not get inconvenient facts get in the way: Britain, the EU and the USA are already imposing sanctions. So where does this leave Eurasia Mining (EUA), shares in which are off another 12% to 16.25p – almost 60% down from peak ramp 14 months ago and heading rapidly for an 18 month low?

Eurasia sets a trend - now Angus Energy goes with the bid and place switch, this could catch on in lawless London

During the time that it has been “up for sale” whether in or out of a Formal Sales Process (FSP), Eurasia Mining has managed to get three bailout placings away at prices it could not have dreamed of without the  – so far unjustified – bid speculation it, itself, has created. Lucian is short of Eurasia Mining (EUA) and for a host of reasons I think he is right to be short. One of those reasons is a mystery shareholder. Lucian has written to Eurasia’s boss Christian Schaffalitzky and his letter, still not having received a response after several days, follows:

Who owns Queeld Ventures which has a stake valued at £73m in Eurasia Mining?

They say that the best way to rob a bank is to own one and it is with a slight feeling of queasiness that I have been recommending buying the shares of Ferrexpo (FXPO), whose founder, Kostyantyn Zhevago, has been accused in some quarters of doing just that (fortunately the shares have done quite well). For balance however, I am short the shares of Eurasia Mining (EUA), which also appears to have connections with a party accused of the same skulduggery.

Eurasia yet again promises a dividend and then does a placing: this is the act of shysters!

Eight days ago, Eurasia Mining (EUA) said that it was in talks with a credible party which had made an offer to buy essentially all of its assets and that if the deal went through it would become a cash shell after paying a “significant” dividend. Guess what? Today there is a $20 million placing. For such. Almost criminal. Spoofery to happen once is – on AIM – understandable, twice looks like carelessness.

Eurasia Mining – another rule breach but does anyone care?

It is not as if this company has not already had problems with Nomad’s quitting because of rule breaches and misleading statements before, is it?  But with Eurasia’s (EUA) current Nomad being the fraudster’s Nomad of choice, SP Angel of MySquar (MYSQ) infamy, I guess that sticking to the rules is not actually needed.  So that is alright then.

Eurasia Mining – a damning indictment of the Takeover Panel

I am not sure if the Takeover Panel boasts about how many birds it has promoted to its executive team whether they have been flagged up as manifestly incompetent or not, but in the matter of Eurasia Mining (EUA) it has shown itself to be as useless as the FCA, if not even more useless. Will the late Roy Castle be getting his book out again? Is Umuthi set for the shortest stockmarket career ever covering the FCA (again) in manure?

Eurasia Mining (EUA), of which more later, has already met Roy this week as it became the company to have enjoyed the longest spell ever under a Formal Sale Process without actually getting a bid or admitting there would be no bid. It snatched that record from Best of the Best (251 days) on Thursday morning. But before the late Mr Castle thinks his job is over, I sense Umuthi Healthcare (UHS) may also get to meet him, Norris and, of course, Cheryl Baker, formerly of Bucks Fizz. Breaking: Eurasia Mining ‘fesses (sort of) on Churakov departure but what about Keith Byrne apparently leaking price-sensitive news?

The whole Eurasia Mining (EUA) story stinks more and more with each day that goes by. Today’s episode started at no-one is watching O’Clock, 6.02 PM, with a statement that begs more questions than it answers. You may remember that on January 27, shares in the company slumped by 40% as it emerged that the company’s high profile boardroom M&A Advisor Alexei Churakov had dumped 27.4 million shares at 29p. That evening, I revealed HERE how Company Secretary Keith Byrne had apparently been reassuring private investors who inhabited a secret Telegram group that this was not an issue as Churakov had left some time ago.

Eurasia Mining statement re Alexei Churakov shares dump – it makes no sense at all

Yesterday, shares in Eurasia Mining (EUA) collapsed, by 50% at one point before closing 40% down at 18p, on news that board advisor Alexei Churakov had dumped 27.4 million shares at 29p. Want to see some BB Morons shitting themselves - welcome to the Eurasia Mining "private" Telegram chat room as shares crash

You will particularly enjoy one comment about yours truly. Shares in Eurasia Mining (EUA) crashed by 50% in afternoon trade before rallying to close just 39% down at 18p. The trigger was a release stating that Alexei Churakov, an adviser to the board heading its M&A effort, had dumped 27.4 million shares at 29p yesterday. He still owns 12.3 million shares and a shedload of massively in the money options. But for a company meant to be in a bid process this was not seen as a good signal given his rolde in the company. Understandably so. Anyhow, given how these folks have abused those of us who have questioned the shocking red flag behaviour at Eurasia over the past year, it is a delight to see them squirm!

Is it Better To be Short A Stock Promotion Or A Total Fraud?

As someone who occasionally shorts companies, particularly on AIM, my goal is to find companies which are total  frauds and so their shares ultimately prove worthless and I get 100% profit. However, I also like to short what I term "stock promotions", where management and/or shareholders have used various methods to get the stock to levels which are impossible to justify. On AIM, a stock promotion can take companies which are essentially worthless to a value of several hundred million pounds, depending on the story being spun.

Another said I couldn;t be a proper journalist if I did not interview Eurasia, preferably by flying to the Indaba coke and hooker fest. It was one of Lucian’s sell tips of the year HERE and he, and I, reckon that fair value is sub 10p.  Eurasia Mining (EUA) is another AIM casino ramp which, on fundamentals, looks to be massively overvalued. I would not be a buyer of the stock even if it fell by two thirds from the current 4p.

Tom Winnifrith Beacast: The cancer of private chatrooms for shameless ramping by AIM Casino bosses - will AIM Regulation act?

As I reveal that it is not only Versarien (VRS) up to no good in this respect but also Eurasia Mining (EUA), I wonder which other shameless PLC rampers are up to no good and will AIM Regulation do anything to stop an increasingly disorderly market becoming an open sewer? I look at retail shares and real estate plays on that as more evidence emerges that my very long term "avoid the lot like the plague" stance was correct. I look at changing brokers at Cenkos (CNKS) and Condor Gold (CNR) and Premier Miton (PMI) and what the AIM Casino demise of SalvaRx (SALV), where managers are talented, says about the dangers of backing a cash shell.

Breaking: Versarien not the only AIM Company ramping via private chatrooms - shocking material from Eurasia Mining

All the signs are that AIM Regulation and hapless Nomad Canaccord is clamping down on the private Versarien (VRS)  chatroom inhabited by Neill Ricketts and his Versarien cronies after shocking revelations like this HERE. However Winnileaks now has material from a similar chatroom on the private Telegram platform where Eurasia Mining (EUA) boss Dmitry Suschov and his proxies are "at play".

Meet The AIM Clown - additional evidence that the biggest morons on AIM now own Eurasia

@THeAIMClown is long of Eurasia Mining (EUA) though he doesn't declare as such as he drones on ad nauseam about how cheap its shares are. But he demands to know on twitter of, the wrong, Gary Newman and myself if we, our families, friends or associated parties are short. Where to start?

All sorts of games are being played on Eurasia Mining - it remains a sell/avoid for me

Often pump and dumps only last a matter of a few days or even hours, but occasionally when it is more than just small private investors involved they can go on for a long period of time, and that certainly appears to have been the case with Eurasia Mining (EUA)...

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: surely no insider dealing at Fastjet and Neill Ricketts takes the piss again, what bad news does he want to bury?

It is day 1 of the olive harvest and ShareProphets reader K is a hero. I swear he is a closet bubble. I give a progress report on that and then turn to Fastjet (FJET), Versarien (VRS), the useless FCA and mini bonds and the imploding and smelly ramp that is Eurasia Mining (EUA).

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Hey Citigate you journalist smearing mothers, it's your fave journalist calling from Greece

I have now arrived at the Greek Hovel, photos here. In today's podcast I discuss the pitiful way Sam Smith of FinnCrap (FCAP) blames Neil Woodford for the state of AIM. For once I defend the disgraced fund manager. I look at Eurasia Mining (EUA), I3 Energy (I3E) and also at Fastjet (FJET), a company that uses journalist smearing Citigate to polish its turds. The Eurasia podcast I refer to which should now be looked at by AIM Regulation is HERE

The photos below are from the roof of the Athens hotel in which I am holed up after a day of travel hell which I discuss and offer a warning to the trio of bearcast listeners coming to join me for the olive harvest shortly. In the bearcast I look at Inspirit (INSP), 13 Energy (E3E), Eurasia Mining (EUA) which is run by a top banana bt has a joke valuation and FinnCap (FCAP) which has a joke valuation in light of today's interims and is run by a top er... it is run by Sam Smith.

In today's podcast I look at the looming General Election, at a pathetic excuse from Hargreaves Lansdowne (HL.) for not commenting on Neil Woodford, at Sound Energy (SOU), the ramp du jour Euraisia Mining (EUA), at the scandals at Tern (TERN) and Big Dish (DISH) and what they say about the institutionally useless FCA and AIM Regulation and at the profits warning from Empressaria (EMR).

Some crazy valuations are being given for Eurasia Mining - given its lack of reserves!

Eurasia Mining (EUA) is a company that I’ve been following for the past five years or so, but during that time, other than the occasional spike, the share price has done very little, and up until a few days ago you could have bought for around the same price as when I first covered it. The share price has more than tripled in the last few days though, to a current level of around 1.9p, following news that the company has engaged two large banks to help it assess the possibility of selling its assets and basically becoming a cash shell under AIM Rule 15...

Uk Investor Show 2018 Video - Christian Schaffalitzky of Eurasia Mining

At a personal level I have always had a lot of time for Christian Schaffalitzky but am off the pace on news from Eurasia Mining (EUA) although staring at the world map on the wall in Joshua's room just above the nappy changing mat I finally worked out yesterday, as I changed an absolutely disgusting nappy, where it is that Eurasia operates. You probably did not need to know that. Over to Christian.

Kibo project cheer for fired up Metal Tiger

Entrepreneurial mining investment minnow Metal Tiger (MTR) is drawing comfort from one of its investee companies, fellow AIM counter Kibo Mining, which has reported an upbeat pre-feasibility study on its Mbeya coal-to-power project in the East African state of Tanzania. According to Kibo, the study suggests Mbeya could achieve annual revenues of $48 million (£30.8 million), with a profit margin of $24 to $27 million a year, and bring payback in between 2.6 to 3.65 years, for a capital outlay of between $38 and $73 million, according to which development route the company decides to take.

Exclusive Interview; Cameron Parry, CEO of Metal Tiger

Four months ago I suggested that mining investment specialist Metal Tiger (MTR) was a “mouse that might roar”. Despite two decent rallies since I covered the stock, on both occasions the share price gave back the gains. Today it trades at 0.7p, slightly above my original call. For anyone who has followed Metal Tiger closely this must have been a frustrating train of events, not least because of the significant progress the company has made in realising its ambitious goals. Yes, the mining sector remains mired in the severe downturn of recent years, but Metal Tiger has already proved its incisive edge in rooting out and profiting from some of the best buying opportunities in this tough environment. I caught up with CEO Cameron Parry to hear why he believes the current market is “alive with opportunity” and what he intends to do about it.
