However, with the shares above 6p, I previously questioned that the company argues loan “for working capital to fund growth”, what about for keeping the lights on? What do the results now show?…
Self-styled “a world leader in Narrowband Radio Frequency Smart Mesh Networks” CyanConnode (CYAN) has updated including that it “is pleased to announce that it has agreed a £400,000 unsecured loan from certain directors for working capital to fund growth… revenue exceeded the same period last year by approximately 50%” – and the shares have currently responded to above 6p, 10% higher…
Previously writing on CyanConnode (CYAN), earlier this week I concluded I retained prior caution – that of recent disappointment and the balance sheet. There has since been a further “Director Share Purchases” and an “Investor Presentation” announcement…

A “New Order for Smart Metering Project in India” from CyanConnode (CYAN), and the shares are currently rising back above 3p – this after I noting last month “New Order”…or not?... And if order delays are a positive, why bother in the first place?!…
Previously writing on CyanConnode (CYAN), at the end of October I concluded the track record suggests further clarity over contract timing ain’t going to be positive and to keep a close watch on the financial position. Natch, still currently firmly on the bargepole list. Sell. Today though a “New Order for Smart Metering Project in India”. Sounds positive… and the shares - lower since that prior update - further lower below 2p!...
In today's podcast I look at Crest Nicholson (CRST), pox on AIM St James House (SJH), Cyancannode (CYAN), Yourgene (YGEN) and shocking share options, Big Sofa (BST) Goals Soccer Centres and Carpetright (CPR). Blame Brokerman Dan for this podcast being late and for me being a dirty and smelly wreck as I explain in the show.
Previously writing on CyanConnode (CYAN), in July I questioned its “confidence that we will meet full year market expectations”. Now a “Trading and Business Update”…
Already down from a start of 2019 more than 9p, shares in CyanConnode (CYAN) are currently further lower below 6p despite a trading update seeing Executive Chairman John Cronin commencing “we have made solid progress during H1 2019, securing a number of follow on orders in India and Europe, which is testament to the strength of our Omnimesh technology” and concluding “the growth in India and the demand from the rest of the world gives the board confidence that we will meet full year market expectations. We look forward to reporting on such new orders in H2 2019 and delivering significant revenue growth for FY 2019”. Hmmm…
A “Trading Update” from self-styled “a world leader in Narrowband Radio Frequency Smart Mesh Networks”, CyanConnode (CYAN) is headlined “FY Revenues significantly exceed those achieved in FY 2017”. Why is the vanity of revenue rather than the reality of cash emphasised? – always a concern…
In today's bearcast recorded before my first training walk for Woodlarks I look at Sabien (SNT) and ask if CyanConnode (CYAN) misled ahead of its last bailout placing. I deal with the nature of fraud, the culpability of Luke Johnson (there is none) and Patisserie Holdings (C AKE) and then explain why I think Malcolm's stance on the bankers is bonkers
CyanConnode (CYAN) is “pleased to announce that it has signed a USD 4M Licensing Agreement with Beijing Jingybeifang Instrument Co., Ltd” - this its first licensing agreement and the shares are more than 26% higher at 12p in response. Is the response merited?...

Frost & Sullivan found CyanConnode's innovation in the Smart Meter Industry highly impressive and recognised that the company has grown from a European pioneer into a Global Leader”. Hmmm, but wasn’t it last commented here a ‘pleasing’ fundraising “to fund future growth”? Nope. ‘Pleasing’ board participation? Er…?
In today's podcast recorded in my makeshift studio, which is a car half way up a Greek Mountain, I note a landmark for this site, 20 million page views, then cover Rockfire (ROCK), Asiamet (ARS), Cabot Energy (CAB), CyanConnode (CYAN) and a mega scandal, Anglo African Agriculture (AAAP), Concepta (CPT) & Futura Medical (FUM)
With its shares sliding following results last month, it was then “Consolidation of European Operations”, “$11.6 million order from India” and “$2.9m Order for Support Contract” announcements from CyanConnode (CYAN). As these helped the shares up, I warned India order & European office closure, how’s the funding situation? and more ‘news’, when’s the attempted new funding then?. Today; surprise, surprise…
“CyanConnode (AIM: CYAN), a world leader in narrowband radio frequency mesh networks, is pleased to announce the receipt of a $2.9 million purchase order for a five-year support and maintenance contract for an Omnimesh smart metering deployment by a State-Owned Utility in India” - and the shares have responded currently a further circa 10% higher, to above 13p, BUT…

Events are moving fast on matters relating to historic abuse at Warwick School and that has distracted me somewhat. But in this podcast I look at Toople (TOOP), have more thoughts on TrakM8 (TRAK) and at CyanConnode (CYAN) where the placing has not happened yet. But it will. And soon.
CyanConnode (CYAN) has updated that it, “the world leader in narrowband radio mesh networks, announces receipt of a purchase order from HM Power for a smart metering implementation for a Swedish utility”. This follows also since I previously wrote last month the company having “officially launched its cost-optimised standards-based Omnimesh smart metering application at Asia Utility Week in Bangkok”. Building momentum then? Er…
I start with a bit on my walking schedule. I really will suffer tomorrow so about donating a tenner to Woodlarks as you think of the pain that lies ahead. Support a great cause HERE. In the podcast I look at non food retailers where I take a simple view as I am not as clever as Chris. I look at CyanConnode (CYAN), GYG (GYG) and follow up on Gary's piece on Bellzone (BZM) with a discussion on what constitutes market abuse.
Writing on CyanConnode (CYAN) earlier this month, my review noted boardroom remuneration – and bonuses despite the announcement including “thank all shareholders for your continued patience and ongoing support in what has been a difficult year”! Now a Changes to Executive Director Remuneration announcement…
Firstly, I detail my latest training humiliations here. To those bearcast readers who have sponsored my charity 32 mile walk I say thank you, to the 95% of you have not, please give a tenner HERE. In the podcast I look at Stratex (STI) where the wrong management is following the wrong strategy and which is a dog with fleas. I look at MySquar (MYSQ) where Nomad John Meyer of SP Angel needs to stop turning a blind eye and come clean - tell us about the Court case looming in Singapore John! I look at Andalas (ADL), defend Neil Ricketts of Versarien (VRS) over share sales and then have a long discussion on CyanConnode (CYAN) where I fear an OW is implicated in a looming cash crisis accompanied by the the stench of boardroom greed with grotesque rewards for failure. It is shocking stuff.
Having announced results little more than 3 weeks ago, now a “Pre-AGM Update” from CyanConnode (CYAN) – the AGM though not until next week. A significant development then?...
Self-styled “the world leader in narrowband radio mesh networks”, CyanConnode (CYAN) has announced results emphasising “2017 has been a year during which we have both made significant progress within the company in terms of winning orders, growing our global ecosystem of partners, expanding our geographical reach, and putting in place a world class team to develop product and deliver on the order book which has grown significantly during the period”. Er, ok. What about financially?...
A Trading Update from self-styled “world leader in narrowband radio mesh networks” CyanConnode (CYAN) commences “since the start of the year, the company has seen increasing momentum and demand for its products across multiple jurisdictions, which will result in the company generating more revenues in the first half of 2018 than in the full year for 2017”. Sounds promising…
Often when it comes to AIM companies investors get far too fixated on revenue and orderbooks, and forget that in reality it all comes down to the bottom line and the actual net profit that the company is either already making, or is likely to make.
On 11th December CyanConnode (CYAN) noted the (downward) movement in the share price and that it was “not aware of any corporate developments that justify such a movement”. Today a Trading Statement announcement. Should be fine then…

Yesterday at almost no-one-watching-o’clock (4.12pm), AIM listed eternal jam-tomorrow pain-today play CyanConnode (CYAN) posted a director declaration RNS. It being issued at 4.12 in the afternoon suggests an announcement other than routine, and when we look at the details we see information which surely should have been released one day short of six months ago!
CyanConnode (CYAN) has announced results for the first half of 2017, including “we are delighted with the progress made during the period”. Good, good. Oh what? Already down from above 0.20p at the start of the year, the shares further lower at 0.16p? Hmmm…
Emphasising “reflects the company's leading position within the smart metering industry across both emerging markets and Europe”, CyanConnode (CYAN) has announced “a $10 million purchase order extension from its specialist in energy management systems customer for a smart metering contract in Bangladesh”. What does this though mean in context?...
CyanConnode (CYAN), which describes itself as “the world leader in narrowband radio mesh networks”, has updated on the first half of 2017; “a busy period for the company with key existing relationships strengthened and the company's global reach enhanced”. Sounds encouraging, so why are the shares currently lower at 0.15p?...
Tom recently published an article about Golden Saint Resources (GSR) reaching 8,822,256,582 shares in issue after a latest bailout placing, asking what is the AIM shares in issue record? Well, as at the end of March, some data from the LSE showed;
CyanConnode (CYAN) is “pleased to announce” a successful equity raise of 1,906,912,392 new shares at 0.17p each. Hang on, haven’t I already heard similar since previously reviewing in August?...
Self-declared “world leader” in technical jargon to describe what it does (Oops, I meant “in narrowband RF mesh networks for Omni Internet of Things communications”), Cyan (CYAN) has announced results for the first half of 2016 – noting its “financial performance reflected the increasing maturity of our offering and relationships” and that it’s “excited by the group's growth prospects”. Hmmm…
