I take an old fashioned view that an asset has value if it generates or will generate cash. In my view the assets of Deepverge (DVRG) do not fall into that category and thus have no value making the company worthless. Mr. Market may or may not disagree but where I stand is clear. Hence I have never owned the shares, never would and have always been 100% bearish. Simple eh? Not simple enough for one poster on the ADVFN asylum…
Some folks really do need therapy. Bidstack (BIDS) deceives its shareholders a fact I prove, its shares slump and who is to blame. Yes it is evil TW, the Jews and a gang of minions. I kid you not., Here are a few posts from the Bidstack and Avacta (AVCT) boards over at ADVFN for you to consider. I omit the one repeating the canard that I am a convicted tax evader ( never even been questioned) but the selection below demonstrates the paranoia and stupidity of some folks. But can you do better? If so add your examples of stupidity from the LSE and ADVFN Bulletin Boards or twitter in the comments section below. The deadline for entries is midnight Saturday.
Orsu Metals’ quote on AIM was cancelled on 19 August 2016. But it is still going and the read across from what it is going through looks to be devastating for the pin up girl of the Bulletin Board Moron community, Eurasia Mining (EUA).
Ahead of what will be dismal interims and a catastrophically bad update on current trading due within 11 days and with a bailout placing needed PDQ, shares in Chill Brands (CHLL) are again lower today at 11.8p. My target price is still 0p and still the idiots who have ignored my numerous warnings from 76p down as they know better still play the man, me, not the ball, my data and bear thesis. Meet kaka47 on the ADVFN Asylum who posts:
As you can see below this Bulletin Board Moron put all his eggs in one basket, Bidstack (BIDS).I wonder if in days gone by he mocked the dire warnings of a “failed fund manager and pizza maker.” Now he has lost almost all of his savings, those of his daughter and mother.
Time it goes by and yet there is no news of import from these two monumentally overvalued darlings of the Bulletin Board Moron community. The silence is deafening and that should be alarming even the most moronic or morons. Or maybe they are just too moronic…
I don’t believe this is our Darren but another one, Darren042. He owns shares in Supply@ME Capital (SYME) and, with a hat tip to TR, I challenge anyone to find a bigger example of stupidity on the LSE, ADVFN or iii asylums or on twitter by midnight on Bank Holiday Monday. Meanwhile marvel at Darren who really is an imbecile.
My suggestion, made to AIM Regulation and HERE, that shares in all covid testing stocks be suspended on Monday seems to have aroused every idiot who has ever bought an AIM listed share into outrage and anger. Brokerman Dan has joined this populist outrage.
Peter Brailey thinks he will be selling his last Synairgen (SNG) shares at £10 based on its "cure" for Covid 19. Peter admits he has no specialist knowledge. It shows. He is thinking like a Bulletin Board Moron. I was paid to write on this sector for five years so know a bit and explain why he is not thinking straight.
Okay, I have been wrong with such calls before. Quindell (QPP) was a total and demonstrable fraud, running on fumes and so just had to be a zero... Then along came those Aussie poltroons from Slater & Gordon, who bought most of its worthless assets, so saving Quindell but train-wrecking their own company. It happens now and again that the corporate world throws up an even bigger fool than your average Bulletin Board Moron on the LSE Asylum. Moreover, these are “challenging” times...
Last week I asked you to supply your idea of the most moronic post on the ADVFN, LSE or iii Asylums or on twitter. There were some good entries as you can see HERE but thanks to Aiminvestor for spotting this gem from the ADVFN asylum, Versarien (VRS) thread, natch, explaining why shorters should be in prison whatever they say but share rampers create wealth and should all be lauded whatever they say. Our BB of the week is “Scrutable”:
A week ago, I asked you for examples of sheer lunacy from the ADVFN, iii and LSE Asylums and there were indeed many fine examples provided as you can see HERE. However, anyone who uses the Nazis to make their point is generally someone who has completely lost the plot and thus there can be only one winner.
The Versarien (VRS) owning lunatic from the ADVFN Asylum cited below really does take paranoia to a new level. "infamy, infamy, they have all got it in for me". The only suerprise is that he does not mention the Jews or Mossad in his deranged post below. Anyhow can you find something even crazier on the ADVFN, iii or LSE asylums or on twitter before midnight on Sunday. If so, post it in the comments section below. But you have to beat the moronic post below:
I asked you to nominate the moron making the most moronic comments on twitter or the LSE, ADVFN and iii asylums last week and there were many fine entries as you can see HERE. But the winner is clear and was spotted by me so I win the non prize. From the ADVFN Asylum, Versarien thread
Okay, I want to make Juicin happy so let us have another Bulletin Board Moron of the week contest. The deadline is midnight on Sunday 9th February and all you have to do is find another comment from twitter or the ADFVN, iii or LSE Asylums which is more moronic than this one from mavfav on the ADVFN asylum, Versarien (VRS) thread. Entries in the comments section below
At 3.4p Eurasia Mining (EUA) is a company shown to have lied to investors, with zero balance sheet support and which is burning cash. That is why, it needs to do a placing. Yet it is still capitalised at £92 million. So, what are the shares worth? I asked you for the craziest examples of Bulletin Board Moron madness last week and while there were some great spots as you can see HERE, Evil Banksta came up with the gem below:
Last night I was flamed on twitter by a host of Eurasia Mining (EUA) investors, a group who made your average Versarien (VRS) investor look like a true multi brained genius. I kid you not. One wanted me to hire him as a journalist as he had posted a few comments on BBs about Eurasia and that, he thought, qualified him. Another said I couldn;t be a proper journalist if I did not interview Eurasia, preferably by flying to the Indaba coke and hooker fest. And so it went on. The fact that Eurasia lies to investors ahead of fund raises & abuses market rules in private chatrooms was dismissed as irrelevant. Anyhow this is a hint as to where to seek out a winning entry in this week's contest. What is the most moronic post you can find on the ADVFN, iii or LSE Asylums or on twitter? Entries should be posted in the comments section below with a deadline of midnight on Sunday 26th.
It seems as if ADVFN is happy for its own house paedo guy to carry on doing his bit in support of Versarien (VRS) by libelling me in so many ways and encouraging folks to attack my wife. And there was I thinking that Clem Chambers had standards and would no platform such scum.... So while Clem continues to allow this creep and others to operate, what is the most moronic post you can find on the ADVFN, iii or LSE Asylums or on twitter? Entries should be posted in the comments section below with a deadline of midnight on Sunday 19th.
It was indeed a Versarien (WRS) owning moron who picked up this award… yes its ADVFN paedo guy ( that is he claims I am one) bgt1
Just for one week, the contest is being brought back at the request of reader Juicin. The rules are slighty changed in honour of Neill Ricketts of Versarien (VRS). What we are looking for is the most moroniic comment on shares on the LSE, iii or ADVFN Asylums or twitter. But this week you can also add in comments on the private Discord chat room where Ricketts tells lies to investors without his Nomad, hapless Quindell loving Bobbie Hilliam at Canaccord, knowing anything about it! The deadline for entry is midnight on Sunday 12 January ( my birthday). Entries in the comments section below.
On my last bearcast before I flee to the Greek Hovel (cue calls from Bulletin Board Morons that I live in a hovel as I am a peasant and that I am evading justice for some crime or another), I discuss today's chapter of retail-aggedon (Clarkes), the Neil Woodford Rutherford International (RUTH) £32.5 million black hole and why Amigo (AMGO) is almost certainly not on a PE of 3 and almost certainly not cheap.
I asked you a week ago to nominate your Bulletin Board Moron of the week from the iii, LSE and ADVFN Asylums or from twitter. There were some great entries which, in a normal week, would have won, as you can see HERE. But..
Juicin can thank me later, but I am inspired by the most insane post I have seen in ages to bring back this contest for one week only. Surely no-one can beat the post below from the ADVFN Bidstack (BIDS) thread. If you find a better example of lunacy on twitter on on the iii, LSE or ADVFN Asylums post it in the comments section below before midnight on Sunday 13 October. Enjoy this treat...
In today's podcast I cover Dev Clever (DEV), Yourgene (YGEN), Anglo African Oil & Gas (AAOG), Grand Vision Media (GVMH), Thomas Cook (TCG) and the bastard who sent me a lawyers letter as I carried my Uncle's Coffin.
It seems as if Versarien (VRS) owning morons take particularly badly to exposes on how senior execs may be fraudsters and are certainly liars and respond with abuse for the messengers. And thus in honour of these prize poltroons Bulletin Board Moron of the Week is back. Simply post the most moronic comment found on twitter or the LSE, ADVFN or iii asylums in the comments section below. It does not have to be about Versarien but moronic deadwood press Neil Woodford articles by Ali Hussein or Jeff Presstrip are not eligible. The deadline for entries is midnight Saturday and the winner will receive a mythical photo of Julie Meyer filling in a tax return.
In today's bearast I take a detailed look at Sub Standard list Bermele (BERM) which is over-ramped, dripping in red flags and been pushed by shamed Bulletin Board Moron Aberdeenman. I also explain why I shall, tomorrow, be asking the Met to investigate whether Julie "lingerie on expenses" Meyer and her lawyer Peter McGrath might - as a result of this - be perverting the course of jiustice as I have news on the FCA's criminal investigation into Meyer which seems to be ratcheting up. I am not accusing either of this serious crime merely asking the Met to see if something awry is taking place.
I warned folks time and time again that the valuation of Sound Energy (SOU) was a monumental joke as the shares were pumped up to a peak of 82p. But the savants of the Bulletin Board Moron community knew better and hurled back abuse. Today the shares are just 11.62p but that is still way too high.
There a good few great entries in the Bulletin Board Moron of the week contest as you can see HERE. But there has to be a winner of the non existent photo of Julie “lingerie on expenses” Meyer filling in her tax return. Now call this vanity but…
Hat tip to reader Juicin for spotting this absolute gem of a comment from a Bulletin Board Moron on the LSE Asylum. Can you beat this scorcher? If so post your nominations in the comments section below. Any post from the LSE, ADVFN, iii asylums or twitter from April 1 2019 onwards is eligible. The most moronic post spotted will win a photo of Julie Meyer paying her tax bill (ho ho ho) for the spotter. The deadline for entry is midnight on Saturday 4th May. Get posting…
I do not think it is too controversial to observe that on 90%+ of issues our former in house 'bulletin board loon' Wildes - who used to be not shy of posting a view or ten in the comments section on many articles - was way off the mark. However I have to give the old loon a hat tip on the specific issue of ConvaTec (CTEC) which I posted on a year ago and on which Wildes prophetically observed I was talking sh1t quite literally.
Suffice to say you would not want your average Frontera (FRR) shareholder on your pub quiz team would you? There were numerous fantastic nominations for this contest as you can see HERE but Bwakem and Soupchicken will have to fight it out for the prize, a semi naked photo of Britain’s top share blogger (mornings only) Thirsty Paul Scott as they both spotted the gem below.
The AIM demise of the fraud Frontera (FRR) has unleashed a barrage of Bulletin Board idiocy not seen for years. It seems that the idiot from every village in the land was invested here and the comments on the Asylums at the LSE, ADVFN and iii as well as on twitter restore ones faith in the sheer stupidity of your fellow man. To win a semi naked photo of Britain's top share blogger before lunchtimes, Thirsty Paul Scott, simply post your examples of supreme idiocy ( not necessarily on Frontera) in the comments section below. The deadline is midnight on Saturday 2nd Fenruary. I start off with my nomination. Can anyone beat this gem from tune player on the ADVFN Asylum.
Hat tip to Gary Newman for spotting this gem from the LSE Asylum. Meet gilogilo.
Thanks to Drunken Sailor for his scientific study of Bulletin Board Moron behaviour which he posted in the comments section last night in the wake of the Anglo African Oil & Gas (AAOG) hornets nest. His research is invaluable and merits a wider audience. The great man writes:
In today's podcast I explain why own in-house Bulletin Board Moron Wildes has disappeared, how I am considering kidnapping the Chavs cat, a forthcoming contest and then I look at Amur Minerals (AMC), MX Oil (MXO), Audioboom (BOOM) and Online Blockchain (OBC).
Juicin Drumroll demanded we bring back the Bulletin Board Moron of the week contest and last week he again tried to win in a most valiant way with a superb nomination of a UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) moron from the ADVFN asylum as you can see HERE. But I am afraid he was pipped to the post by Warun Boofit who has found some gems care of two Frontera (FRR) owning poltroons. The winning double header is below:
Having demanded we bring back this contest, once again, Juicin Drumroll failed to win last week but he came second and tried very hard as you can see HERE. So he is clearly desperate to win a semi naked photo of Britain's leading share blogger before lunchtime, Thirsty Paul Scott. So we will give him a fifth and final chance. Can anyone stop Juicin from winning this week? Okay here is the challenge for you all:
Five weeks in and the man who demanded we bring this contest back, Juicin Drumroll, is the runner up in this week’s contest but the photo of a semi I naked Thirsty Paul Scott goes instead to Putneywill – but there were numerous cracking entries, mainly posts by shareholders in UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) who – as you can see HERE – really are true morons.
Having demanded we bring back this contest, once again, Juicin Drumroll failed to win last week and so for the fourth time the semi naked photo of Britain's top share blogger before lunchtime, thirsty Paul Scott, went elsewhere. Come on Juicin this contest is for you please try harder....if you don't win this week we are dropping it.
In this podcast, my last from the Greek Hovel for some weeks, I discuss the delusions of David Lenigas, Tesla pot head Elon Musk and our own in-house Bulletin Board Moron Wildes in a tag team combo with the Archbishop of Canterbury. Who is most deluded? I have the answer and explain why.
We only brought back the Bulletin Board Moron of the week contest in response to repeated demands from Juicin Drumroll but he is not playing fair. He said there was so much to nominate but he is not in the game. Instead – as you can see HERE – Drunken Sailor again dominated the contest and has now won his third semi naked photo of Thirsty Paul Scott with the entry below. Come on Juicin we are going to give you one last chance…
Having demanded we bring back this contest, once again Juicin Drumroll fails to win with his nomination. Come on Juicin, we are doing this for you, please try harder. This week's winner of a semi naked photo of Britain's top share blogger, before lunchtime, Thirsty Paul Scott, is Daniel Victor. You can see all the entries HERE but Daniel's winning entry, from twitter, is from a Tesla loon:
Having demanded we bring back this contest, once again Juicin was beaten by Drunken Sailor in last week's contest as you can see HERE. Drunken now wins a second semi naked photo of Thirsty Paul Scott as his prize. Okay, for one more week I urge you all to post your entries to stop Drunken making it a hat-trick.
Juicin Drumroll demanded we bring back the contest but after two weeks we haveb the same winner both times. drunken Sailor has now won two prizes of a semi naked photo of Britian's thirstiest share blogger, Paul Scott. Come on Juicin, this contest is all about you getting a chance to win, time to up your game, man. You can see all the entries HERE but the winner from DS is, I think, from the ADVFN UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) Asylum:
After a lengthy hiatus, the Bulletin Board Moron of the Week came back last week , thanks to the unrelenting lobbying of ShareProphets member Juicin Drumroll. But Juicin did not win, being pipped by a splendid entry from Drunken Sailor as you can see HERE. So to give JD another chance...
In our relaunched Bulletin Board Moron of the week contest, there were some fine examples of moronic activity by investors in Tern, UK Oil & Gas, Cloudtag, Whetstone and other great British Companies nominated by ShareProphets readers as you can see HERE. But there has to be a winner.
After a lengthy hiatus, the Bulletin Board Moron of the Week has returned, thanks to the unrelenting lobbying of ShareProphets member Juicin Drumroll.
Some house business: bulletin board moron of the week has returned. We ceased this long-running column earlier in the year when we had successfully cleared all bulletiin boards of all morons. But they have oozed back and it is time for you to take out the trash.
I don't know what this means. I'm just thowing it out there as something for you to ponder in your investment strategy. This lightning bolt of thought? People are using significantly less cash now, and the tipping point has been the past three months.
We have received an email from a chap called Ian Hislam who is now officially the Bullettin Board Moron of the Century. I know we still have 82 years to go but this Quindell (QPP) shareholder is surely unbeatable.
There were those, such as our own Drunken Sailor, who argued that UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) could manage to absorb the rolling short of a £10 million death spiral announced last week quite easily and it would not hit the share price. The evidence with just 5% of the spiral drawn suggests otherwise and this makes the stock a slam dunk short.
RT may change its mind but as things stand I am about to head off to BBC Bristol to record an interview on Russian Collusion in the US Elections. I am happy to do my bit for the President (that is Trump not Putin). We all know who the real criminal is in this affair. Meanwhile I discuss On Line (ONL) but even greater madness at Intelligent Energy (IEH) where one Bulletin Board Moron is in full flow and the (worthless) shares are up by 70%. Then it is onto Tern (TERN), Servision (SEV), another few comments on Andalas (ADL), 13 Energy (I3E) and finally a detailed look at the rum and coke statement from worthless Boxhill (BOX). I hope Cynical Bear will give Boxhill an even bigger duffing up overnight.
Following on from today's truly shocking results from Lombard Risk (LRM) covered HERE I have more questions for the company not least on how secure is its overdraft on which it is, I suspect, already reliant and on the quite disgraceful salary compatibility review. Talk about rewards for failure. Then I look at Defenx (DFX), another horror story, before issuing a wake up call to our own in house Bulletin Board Moron Wildes and looking at Angus Energy (ANGS) and finally Dialight (DIA). Meanwhile it is now less than a month to the olive harvest and Greece. I cannot wait.
This is the last Bulletin Board Moron contest for awhile. We're going to let it lie fallow and let the morons fester for awhile. But we do have a winner for the week.
This week's Bulletin Board Moron contest is sponsored by Telit Communications and Eros International.
How the Bulletin Board Morons laughed at me as I warned in the strongest possible terms that 88 Energy (88E) shares were a slam dunk sell and that drilling of the Icewine well was not going well. Please form an orderly queue morons I guess you did know better than a trained oil analyst after all. The shares have slumped by 0.75p to 1.25p but a market cap of £56.9 million is still way too high. There is worse to come.
This week's Bulletin Board Moron contest is sponsored by Darren Mercer, the CEO of BNN, suspended by his own board. In an unrelated incident, Mercer was suspended by the Jockey Club for betting against his own horse. We thank him for his support.
We had a lot of great entries this week for the Bulletin Board Moron contest. Apparently, all you need to do is give a desirable prize and people enter. And the prize this week is...? Oh, dear.
Sometimes for routine incompetence but more normally for attempting to publish the sort of money tree worship inspired fake news that should be the preserve of the BBC and the Guardian, pizza hardman Darren Atwater gets fired at least once a week by ShareProphets. Naturally he is reinstated almost immediately. The winner of this week's BBM Contest gets to fire Darren next Monday by mail or in person. What a prize!
Like the AIM Market itself, there are aways an array of losers to choose from in the Bulletin Board Moron of the week. Well actualy (TW here) that is yet more fake news from Darren. It really is time to fire him again and so he can go make up stories with his fellow Trump hating money tree worshippers at The Guardian or the BBC. There were only two entries last week. Come on folks surely you can supply more this week? Tell you what i shall offer a prize. Anyhow last week's winner was:
This week's Bulletin Board Moron contest is sponsored by the AIM Markets, the world's most successful growth market, now only slightly smaller than it was last year.
There were some good nominations this week, but our winner is a new face. I'll let FormationOfDamnation explain his nominee, TaffEvans on the CHAL board on the LSE Asylum He notes: The gold medal has to go to TaffEvans though, for this intraday Damascene conversion on Tuesday...
The word of the week for this edition of the Bulletin Board Moron contest is schadenfreude.
Two days ago Entu (ENTU) issued a statement which essentially said that its shares were worthless. Yet today the shares have rocketed by 230% to 4.3p. This is the classic dead cat bounce.
To help publicise the Financial Reporting Council's investigation into the accounts of outsourcers Mitie Group (MTO), its former CEO, enobled by Call Me Dave Cameron, has graciously - we assume - sponsored this week's bulletin board moron competition.
There were many good nominations this week making selecting the selection of a winner a difficult one. But we persevere.
Two weeks ago exactly AIM Casino listed crock of shit lifestyle company Andalas Energy (ADL) announced some more hot air and jam tomorrow news sending its shares spiking to a peak of 0.14p to buy as Bulletin Board Morons whipped themselves into a semi-orgasmic frenzy of innumeracy and filled their boots. Today the shares are 0.065-0.07p meaning that the paper loss for those buyers at peak moron is already 50%+. Time for a podcast with long term Andalas groupie and well known cardboard box resident Justin the Clown methinks? The bad news for Justin and the morons is that things can only get worse...
Former ShareSoc chairman Roger Lawson, who has threatened to sue Tom Winnifrith, is the sponsor of this week's Bulletin Board Moron contest. Yes he sponsored last week's contest as well but he still has a few of the Globo sharesw he promoted so enthusiastically to hand out as a prize so Roger is back again
It's a clear win for a bulletin board moron this week. The stupidest thing that I have read all month and I have looked at Nadine Dorries blog this month.
Shares in Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO ) are again tumbling on this fine summer's day. Oh what joy it is to be alive. 350p at peak ramp less than two years ago, they are now just 10.75p to sell. Ouch, I just love the smell of burning share certificates belonging to Bulletin Board Morons in the morning. So what crisis looms? Take your pick.
Today's the day that African Potash gets slung from the NEX markets or has the rules bent for them, so in normal circumstances it would sponsor this week's contest. But there is an even better sponsor, step forward Roger Lawson of ShareSoc who will donate some of the Globo shares he owns as a prize. Natch, Lawson sold most of his Globo shares before telling readers to sell, but he still has some left and even offered to help the management take the company forward.
It's a duopoly of duds this week. What to do? There were few entries last week, which seems to show that the bulletin board posters on LSE and ADVFN and III have all been sensible and humble for the past seven days.
The Quindell boys are back in town, as they buy a worthless little business, Business Advisory Services (BAS), from Watchstone - having netted £100 million from the originalheist. To celebrate their adventureering, they are sponsoring this week's Bulletin Board Moron contest.
Here I am in Shipston with my father who enjoys bearcasts if they mention him so just for that reason I record again. His faux political correctness is exposed by the issue of coverage of women's cricket in The Guardian - the dreadful newspaper he has delivered to try to fool my family of public sector "working" lefties that he is one of them. In terms of the market I look at Carillion (CLLN) and 88 Energy (88E). Shares in both companies are collapsing today and I look at why and at what lessons folks should be learning. You could so easily have avoided losing money on both. Please note Malcolm Stacey and other Ocado (OCDO) bulls, lesson one on Carillion is for you. I also make it clear that while he may have some of the attributes of a Bulletin Board Moron as he showed HERE, Evil Knievil is not, in fact, a BBM, I was just joshing him when I suggested otherwise. En passant I look at MySquar (MYSQ) and explain why today's exposes HERE and HERE may refer to events a long time ago but are pertinent.
It's so very rare to have a winner outside of the LSE asylum, but this week we managed it. May the force be with you.
Thanks to a last minute sponsorship from China, where the financial director of Aquatic Foods (AFG) has walked out, we're pleased to open another round of AIM's favourite game show: Who is the Bulletin Board Moron of the Week!? Maybe we could start by naming the brokers who usrged folk to buy this stock? Did the Investor Chronicle tip the shares or is this the 1 China fraud it did not promote?
Sometimes in business you have a moral choice. Do you accept the custom of an individual or not. As a libertarian I do not thing it should be for the state to tell me who I can or cannot choose to serve.
There was no contest this week (TW - you are talking bollocks. Again). The winner was as clear as failure as that guy who jumped over the Snake River Canyon.
Queenie smears journalists and spins for all the worst companies on the casino from fraudsters Eden to Advanced Oncotherapy to Norfolk's finest Fusionex. He truly is a posterboy for AIM and thus a fitting sponsor for this week's contest. The challenge: We're looking for exemplary examples of sheer stupidity from those founts of brilliance; the Bulletin Board Morons who dwell on the cesspits that are LSE.co.uk, III.co.uk and ADVFN.co.uk. The deadline to post your entries in the comments section below is midnight, Sunday 2 July.
I guess if you write for a website that makes the Official Jimmy Saville Fan Club website seem well read and popular, it forces one to also post on Bulletin Boards in order that your words of wisdom/attempts to ramp your flagging portfolio reach an audience of more than three men and a dog. Speaking of dogs - Watchstone (WTG) is stock which bear raider turned Bulletin Board Moron Evil Knievil has long argued is worth 500p. The shares are now 140p ( and falling) after yesterday's massive revelations from me HERE.
Another day and another director walks, a new strategy is adopted and yet more confetti is issued by AIM casino uber dog Mayan Energy (MYN), formally the hound known as Northcote Energy. But this latest move just makes no sense at all. Let me explain with a little bit of help from a friend....
It's a sad day in the annals of the Bulletin Board Moron contest.
The prize is a cheap one way flight to Mars organised by Elon Musk a promoter who makes David Lenigas seem bashful and understated. The challenge: We're looking for exemplary examples of sheer stupidity from those founts of brilliance; LSE.co.uk, III.co.uk and ADVFN.co.uk. The deadline to post your entries in the comments section below is midnight, Sunday 25 June.
As I had suggested might happen several times, Nomad Stifel has resigned the Fusionex (FXI) account. It could not wait for the AIM delisting on the 26th. Instead it gave notice after hours yesterday that it was quitting as Nomad and Broker with effect from 5PM today. Hooray.Game over.
Our nominations usually come from LSE.co.uk, ADVFN.co.uk, III.co.uk, and sometimes the FT. But this is the first time that our winner comes from the world of academia. And no, the author is not Tom's sociology lecturing Mrs
We're looking for exemplary examples of sheer stupidity from those founts of brilliance; LSE.co.uk, III.co.uk and ADVFN.co.uk. Perhaps if they need a guiding light they might care to look at life inside the basket case that is Jim Mellon's Diabetic Boot Company, as sponsored by most of the other AIM companies Jim runs as Cynical Bear pointed out HERE. The deadline to post your entries in the comments section below is midnight, Sunday 18 June.
The ADVFN share blogger of the year has graciously agreed to be this week's Bulletin Board Moron sponsor and primses to send a full monty photo to the winning entry. What greater incentive do you need to enter?
In this week's contest we were looking for special examples of folks who learned their maths the Diane Abbott way. It seems the regular ShareProphets' rogue's gallery was nominated. But we could choose only one.
In this week's contest we are looking for special examples of folks who learned their maths the Diane Abbott way. The morons you nominate may have had a different hairstyle when they posted rubbish on a Bulletin Board or on twitter but that is no excuse. As ever we seek your nominations for Bulletin Board Moron of the week with a deadline of midnight on Sunday 4th June. Post away in the comments section below.
If a share is falling, natch the Bulletin Board Morons who own the stock think that I am playing dirty tricks. FFS how stupid are these imbeciles? Having spent most of the day in the air or driving up to the Greek mountains and thus having been unable to go online until a couple of hours ago, I see the two tweets below appear on my timeline.
Ai Yi Yi. The submissions this week were a right mess. Focus on the morons, people, the goal is not to be one yourself. Nevertheless, we have a worthy winner.
The great bear raider Wassem Shakoor has termed Frontera (FRR) as one of the three most overvalued bits of crap on AIM. Another is MySquar (MYSQ) where Lucian Miers has just published a devestating expose HERE. Back to Frontera where Waseem has stuck it to the Bulletin Board Morons today. He writes:
Our in-house Bulletin Board Moron Wildes has his knickers in a twist claiming that our multiple scoops on the placing at UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) are in some way insider dealing and that the share price crash is down to us. Bollocks. I shall try to make this simple, so that even a simpleton can understand.
The old-bailout-disguised-as-acquisition switcheroo demonstates that Rosslyn Data (RDT) has what it takes to be a Bulletin Board Moron of the Week sponsor.
Of course, of course, of course, the winner this week has to be a Cloudtag (CTAG) supporter. If moronism could be converted to energy, there would be no need of windmills and a Cloudtag supporter would be plunked into the ocean every 500 metres all around this island.
There was little doubt that the winner of this week's BBM contest was going to be CloudTag related and I was not disappointed in the quality, so to speak, of the entries.
The fraud Cloudtag (CTAG) is almost certain to be booted off the AIM casino tonight. I will also miss it such have been the deranged comments that it has prompted. Last week's contest was sposnored by the LSE Asylum and generated stacks of quality entries as you can see HERE. But the winner, spotted by Warun Boofit was in a class of its own as you can see below
Well this is a company that will sponsor any old crap and let's face it, 95% of Bulletin Board Morons post on the LSE Asylum. As the countdown to the fraud Cloudtag (CTAG) being booted off AIM next week accelerates you kind of sense which stock will be the focus of most entries. The competition rules are simple. Just nominate the daftest post on a BB or on twitter in the comments section below. Once again, our in-house semi-trained loon Wildes is allowed to nominate his own posts. The deadline for entries is midnight on Sunday 26th March. Post away!
Poster wiids on the LSE Asylum should not be confused with our own in-house loon Wildes. Frankly Wiids makes our in house pet loon look like Warren Buffett. The LSE Loon is a strong contender for BB Moron of the Year with this classic from last week but it is a bit like Ed Sheeran and the top 10 (heck kids I know what is hip & trending!), Wiids is dominating the Bulletin Board Morons chart. You can see a number of postings by this loon in last week's contest but the winner, nominated by a number of you, is:
It has only just dawned on me that in exactly two weeks time, at 4.30 PM I shall be cracking open the ouzo to celebrate the fact that no Nomad on AIM is so desperate for cash and morally bankrupt that it will act for the fraud Cloudtag (CTAG). And there will thus be an RNS issued to say that it will be slung off the Casino. As that day looms, how will the Bulletin Board Morons spin that as good news? Happy hunting on Cloudtag threads - and others - as we ask you to nominate the most moronic BB posts or tweets in the comments section below. The deadline is midnight Sunday 19th March and, yes, Wildes our pet in-house loon - can nominate his own posts if he wishes.
Not to be confused with our in-house loon Wildes, Wiids posts on the LSE Asylum and is long and strong Cloudtag (CTAG). This post may be an attempt at parody but the insanity of the long & strong Cloudtag loons is beyond satire. Who knows. Anyhow from last week this is potentially an early winner of Bulletin Board Moron of the Year:
Glenwick (GWIK) was once the darling of the AIM penny stock ramping crew led by twitter loon Big Gib. Naturally it has had various changes of strategy, spunked hundreds of thousands of quid on directors fees, advisors and deals that failed and this morning it was slung off AIM - as discussed HERE. The only question is did Big Gob et al get out at the top as they urged others to buy? So in honour of Big Gob I ask you to post in the comments section below the most ludicrous comment you can find on twitter or on a Bulletin Board this week. The deadline is midnight on Sunday 12 March.
Good try Waseem. The great Bear raider and professional Northern git nominated himself as the Bulletin Board Moron of the week for expressing sympathy with Cloudtag Morons who had lost money on the fraud. In normal circumstances I would give Waseem the prize. But his was one of 50 entries last week. As you can see HERE many of them were splendid as the Cloudtag (CTAG) loons went into meltdown. The winner arrives late in the day and displays such a string determination to ignore all the known facts, that I almost admire this moron.
The Cloudtag (CTAG) debacle has provided plenty of ammo for the BB Morons as the fraud has unravveled. As you can see HERE there were plenty of quality entries in last week's contest. But the winner, a first time winner, is Ian M Smith who spotted this gem from someone who reckons that the charlatans who run the LSE Asylum are now in on the global shorting conspiracy. Well done Ian who posts:
I noted earlier that while most financial PR firms are so morally bankrupt they would spin for uber nonce Rolf Harris if the retainer was high enough, Tavistock PR appears to have some honour quitting as adviser to the FRAUD Cloudtag (CTAG). There are only so many lies you can put your name to I guess. But some folks want to hear lies and to reprint them, the BBMs. Please nominate the most moronic bulletin board post or tweet in the comments section below. The deadline for entries is midnight on Sunday February 26.
The ADVFN bulletin boards are so poorly regulated that you can register with any name without any proof that it is yours. And so once again as at 26 February some moron has registered as tomwinnifrith to post as me about Cloudtag (CTAG), natch. I note once again that I am paid to write here, why would I write for free on a chatroom. And moreover why would I write the sort of obvious crap you see below.
As you can see HERE there were many half decent entries in last week's contest but the winner is a stand out and is, natch, from the LSE Asylum. Did you know that on that Asylum it has been arranged so that you cannot provide a link to an article on this website? Yup not only is it rampers only but you cannot even link to a counter point of view. Je suis LSE eh? So the winning entry is spotted by Juicin and is ( from the Cloudtag (CTAG) thread natch):
Over the weekend I published documents and articles such as this one which make it clear that Pirate Pete Landau may well soon be about to "go to jail, do not pass Go, do not steal another £200 from shareholders, Go direct to jail." But say what you want about the Pirate he knew how to play Bulletin Board Morons. His chat up line by email to any moron who contacted him went like this:
Last week's Bulletin Board Moron contest produced a number of splendid entries demonstrating that the "World's Most Successful Growth Market" attracts "the World's stupidest investors". You can see the full range here but the winner is an Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO) owning moron.
Last week's Bulletin Board Moron contest also allowed entries of mindless Donald Trump bashing. Pizza Hardman Darren Atwater did his very best to win via that route but sadly even at his deluded best he could not compete with the savants of the LSE Asylum. There were a number of strong entries, as you can see HERE, but the winner is one that shows the censorship policies of the LSE Asylum up for what they are. Truly that Bulletin Board is a place beneath contempt.
This week, and for one week only, we widen the scope of this contest. As ever, to win simply post the greatest example of idiocy from the Bulletin Boards or twitter relating to shares and the stockmarket in the comments section below. But this week you can also win with comments made on social media or placards from the "wimmin's march" yesterday, from a Donald Trump hater showing the greatest lack of intellectual rigour. The deadline for entries is midnight on Sunday 29th January.
I booked my ticket to Athens last night. No doubt the Bulletin Board Morons will assume that I am running scared of the patron saint of fraudsters, the convicted felon, twice bankrupted man barred from being a company director, St Aidan of Banstead. No, I fear not Mr Earley but I head to Greece soon for very different reasons and may be offline for a few days.
A lot has happened since the late sixties when Neil Armstrong took his one small step on the moon. The word lunatic is derived from the Latin word "luna" meaning moon since it was believed, in the middle ages, that a full moon could induce insanity. And that brings us nicely to last week's Bulletin Board Moron of the week who, natch, owns shares in Cloudtag (CTAG). There were many fine entries as you can see HERE.
At the CES show this week Cloudtag (CTAG) will be launching its product and Amit Ben Haim will go on Proactive to promise that this will translate into hard sales by May. Oh, no that was 2016 and total sales were nil. But maybe it will be different this time eh? In honor of the morons who think it will be, please post in the comments section below the most idiotic comments on twitter or on Bulletin Boards from the first week of 2017. The deadline for entries is midnight on Sunday 8th January.
Cloudtag and Quindell owning twins Kate and Hayley are determined that their privacy be respected by us not posting pictures of them getting their kit off which appreared on a website they themselves put up. So here's a picture for you, of them getting their kit off, as we start our 2016 Full Year BB Moron of the week contest with a prize worth £180.
There could only be one winner this week although there were some cracking entries as you can see here. But congratulations to Goggles for this winner found, natch, on the LSE Asylum Cloudtag thread:
Who else but Hayley Whittaker could be the sponsor of this week's contest? The prize is a night out with homophobic Cloudtag cheerleader Greg Brittan at the Admiral Duncan on Old Compton Street. To win simply post the most inane comment you can find about shares on either Twitter or on a Bulletin Board. The deadline for entries is midnight on Saturday 17th December. Post your entries in the comments section below.
I shall be saying another prayer at the little church on the way to my Greek Hovel tomorrow morning. It will be a prayer asking God not only to show strength to my source on the kerboom emails for one AIM stock but also to make Lord Peter Hain see the light about his involvement with the fraud African Potash (AFPO) as it prepares to see its shares suspended this Wednesday. Lord Hain is no doubt familiar with the book of Mark, chapter 10 verses 20-24. King James version natch:
Naturally it is the Cloudtag (CTAG) morons who provided us with the most sport in the week gone by. But in case you think that Cloudtag threads are the only place to search for lunacy - other than comments by our very own Wildes on his beloved LGO Energy & FastJet - think again. There are always those holding golden tickets in Worthington (WRN) who know who is to blame for its problems: criminal Tom Winnifrith. Whatever.. There were stacks of good entries in last week's contest as you can see HERE but the joint winners are:
The ouzo is on ice for the suspension of shares in the fraud African Potash (AFPO) on December 7th and I am still comtemplating buying a share and going to its GM in Guernsey on 20th December - it would be a hoot. Its dwindling band of followers are posting some delusional rot although the Cloudtag boards are a better source of madness. Anyhow post any BB comments or tweets (even comments from our own Wildes on Fastjet) in the comments section below. The deadline for entries is midnight on Saturday 3rd December.
The return of the Bulletin Board Moron of the week (tweets are also allowed) contest saw a myriad of entries and Cloudtag (CTAG) is clearly the ramp de jour of the BBM Community although a few followers of African Potash (AFPO) seem pretty deranged. You can see the many splendid entries HERE but the winner is...
So great is the insantity displayed by certain investors in the fraud Cloudtag that you are demanding a return of Bulletin Board Moron of the week. You ask, I listen. As ever the rules are simple. Simply find the most moronic comment you spot either on twitter or on a Bulletin Board posted from 1st November 2016 onwards and reproduce it in the comments section below. It can be about any company not just Cloudtag. The deadline to enter is midnight on Saturday 25th November.
We warned you often enough. When companies have no revenue, are burning cash, have no cash and are drowning in debt, things are not going to end well for shareholders. On the back of an RNS today, mug punters have taken such an almighty rogering that I hear that in Bulletin Board Moron land the shops have already run out of vaseline. So here is a ShareProphets translation service of that RNS (our words in bold).
Apologies for the delay in announcing the winner of the last contest of two weeks ago. The beauty of this winner from among all the entries you can see HERE is that he demonstrates a general point about the delusions of the common or garden lesser spotted Moron.
I start with Gulf Keystone (GKP) and a share price driven by morons. talking of morons, London's most useless Nomad, Roland "fatty" Cornish has screwed up again. This time it is Nyota Minerals (NYO) although the real issue here is when is Nyota bust. I think it might be already. I look at Avanti and ask who is smarter: Tom Dobell of M&G, a Bulletin Board Moron or an institutional investor in bonds. I look at Koovs (KOOV), Essentra (ESNT) and Audiooboom (BOOM).
As I noted earlier, Friday really could be Worthington's (WRN) last stand. No doubt its supporters on the LSE will have all sorts of excuses and will be blaming the usual suspects (me, Brexit, Evil) for their losses. This is too much of an opportunity to miss for we voyeurs of the moron community. But posts from other threads can also be submitted in the comments section below with a deadline of Sunday 24th July. I reckon Cloudtag (CTAG) and Highlands Natural (HNR) on the LSE and ADVFN asylums will prove happy hunting grounds.
The sort of folk who not only believe every word that the war criminals Blair and Straw say about Iraq but are also lobbying the BBC to have Chris Evans appointed as the new presenter of Top Gear, are heavily concentrated on the shareholder list at Cloudtag (CTAG), an AIM listed company that is almost insolvent and whose valuation is a joke. Its shareholders are possibly the stupidest folks I have encountered on twitter with the possible exception of the England soccer team.

Maybe all the morons are on half term? Or maybe they have all become sane but there were just a handful of entries for last week's contest as you can see HERE. And none of them beat the original posted by Cynical Bear which was:
Cynical Bear has discovered a gem of madness on the LSE Asylum. It seems that if anyone posts a bearish piece on this website it does not matter who the author is named as, the piece was actually written by me, Indeed I am a busy chap because such loons are also convinced that I spend my entire day posting bearish comments on various bulletin boards under various nom de plumes. Hmmmmm why get paid to write when you can post crap for free...why didn't I think of that before?
The Dave Whitby fan club (life presidents Ben flip flop" Turney, Justin the Clown, Doc Holiday and Zak "Judas" Mir) are delighted to be sponsoring this week's Bulletin Board Moron contest in honour of events at Andalas Energy (ADL) which are generating some cracking comments on the LSE Asylum and elsewhere as well as on twitter. Of course you can nominate a post on any subject or company and African Potash (AFPO) clearly has a shareholder list made up of complete imbeciles. The deadline is midnight Sunday May 1st. Or as they say in Greece: Easter Day.
Darren Winters sent me a lawyers letter in the Autumn for calling him a charlatan and snake oil salesman and threatening me with legal action if I did not withdraw what is a statement of fact. I shall see the Winters bitchez in court and he is a moron for thinking I'd say anything else. Anyhow Winters got another courtroom beating from team Sheriff today so maybe he has learned who not to try to bully. Back to real morons and this week's Bulletin Board Moron of the Week contest where there was only one winner...
Last week I asked if anyone could find a bigger bulletin board moron than Ascent Resources (AST) shareholder Carl Meiring. Poor Mr Meiring seems to have had rather a bad week but at least he gets another 15 minutes of fame. With Ascent shares now at 1.75p to sell Carl's tweet of last Monday is unbeatable although as you can see HERE there were many other strong entries.
I shall leave Solo Oil (SOLO) to a distinct piece on this day of vindication but suffice to say the numbers do not add up. While Lenigas groupies wait for that remember to enter the Jabba yacht caption contest where we already have some cracking entries (HERE). Then I look at corporate governance and how the City needs to be seen to be whiter than white, ref Paternoster Resources (PRS). Then it is onto: Kodal (KOD), 88 Energy (88E), Miton Group (MGR), Belgravium (BVM), Environmental Recycling (FRAUD) and Ascent Resources (AST). And finally remember to pre-order the latest free e-book from myself especially if you are a Bulletin Board Moron and want help - you can do so HERE
Ascent (AST) admitted to a bid approach on Thursday and we own the shares (pro tem). I really do not wish to discourage morons from ramping this to high heaven but feel obliged to point out that those who could make us better off are, in fact, morons (HERE). Do you understand what I am saying? All I suggest is that Ascent boards will be happy hunting grounds if you wish to nominate for this Bulletin Board Moron contest. For instance, with the shares at 1.05p having doubled on Thursday, can you beat this tweet?
It is the birthday of the Mrs tomorrow and so tonight we entertain 20 of her mad lefty friends and no prizes for guessing who is doing all the cooking. It is her birthday but to have to cook then be nice to her mad friends as well is surely a cruel and unusual punishment for me. In this podcast I discuss a raft of tax issues including the Corbett question. Then it is a preview of "how not to be a bulletin board moron"
Shares in Ascent Resources (AST) plunged 15% on Thursday to 5.9p and at just after five O'Clock Cadogan Petroleum (CAD) announced that it had pulled out of takeover talks. Surely no insider dealing taking place there. The smell you can detect now is of burning fingers in the Bulletin Board Moron community.
Let's widen the scope of the Bulletin Board Moron of the week contest this time to include the most ludicrous claims made by those in Project Fear, the campaign against Brexit. Yesterday Lord Browne of BP infamy claimed that leaving the EU meant that we might see another Auschwitz (see HERE) - can you trump that for scaremongering? Or do you just want to settle for nominating a common or garden Bulletin Board Moron who did not stiff shareholders with a bill for his rentboy? Whatever..please post all entries in the comments section below. Last week's contest...
Call this one of the unwritten Tom Winnifrith golden rules but a company that boasts of grant wins from the State is in general a sell. This may be a tad unfair but the fact is that Government's are invariably the worst investors - they make your average Bulletin Board Moron look like Warren Buffett when it comes to spunking cash on losers.
Before we turn to Lynda Duval who is a twitter diehard follower of David Lenigas par excellence, blowing him off by tweet on a daily basis, we go to last week's contest and an excellent winner. There were many fine entries as you can see HERE but the winner was a standout, a FastJet moron.
As ever there were some classic entries in last week's Bulletin Board Moron of the week contest with Drunken Sailor's own made up entry almost plausible as a real one. Had he not fessed up he'd have one the prize. The full raft of entries is HERE. But there is no moron like an old moron and no old moron like an MTV moron.
It is hard to believe but despite his threats of violence and the way he confuses flower arranging with boxing, criminal twerp Chris Oil was not last week's Bulletin Board or twitter moron of the week. A couple of his deluded rants were among the fine nominations for moron of the week - and you can see the full list of entries here - but the winner was spotted by Drunken Sailor on the ADVFN asylum. Can you do better this week?
Will today's suspension of shares in Motive TV (MTV) stop the morons who own this stock from dreaming about the golden tickets they own? Will administration stop them? Truly in the land of the morons these fellows are the uber-morons and so last week's contest winner came from among this flock of loons. You can see the full raft of delusion (with Worthington shareholders again featuring) HERE.
As ever the standard of entries to the Bulletin Board Moron & twitter moron of the week contest was exceptionally high last week. But there was a clear standout winner which may well be a slam dunk for the Bulletin Board Moron of the Year 2016 title as well. Can anyone beat this?
There could only be one winner of last week's Bulletin Board Moron of the week. I am not sure if it is the follower of Jabba who compares the fat Aussie share ramper to Gandhi or Jabba himself for thinking it is so profound that he retweeted it. Anyhow thanks to Britta for this gem of a tweet:
Judith W is one of those folks who just get a kick out of posting nasty things about me. Having been put in her place on her last smear she is at it again with a post on this website which is scant on factual accuracy but makes me worry for her sanity.
A raft of folks who enjoy financial hari-kiri were unearthed in last week's Bulletin Board Moron of the week contest but there is a clear joint winner. Can we do better this week?
Some prat abused me on twitter so I checked out his feed and it contained the tweet below. Surely this guy has to be the biggest moron out there? He is - natch - a Glenwick (GWIK) shareholder but just how stupid is he? Anyhow this is my entry in this weeks contest - can you do better?
For the 7th time - the first perhaps for our many new readers - I feel the need to explain what free speech really means. I do this for Chris Oil & other Bulletin Board Morons who seem determined to post comments here stating that I take bribes on a weekly basis and am a crook. And also for the chap who wants to post with great frequency the claim that I am a "sausage jockey." I do not regard that as a smear since I see nothing shameful whatsover about being gay. It just happens that I am not. But it says a lot about our critics that they seem to include a good number of jew haters, homophobes and other assorted bigots.
The Mrs listened to me recording Bearcast today and said that I seemed very happy. Maybe it is the thought of the next Afriag (AFRI) article I am working on or perhaps it was the second painkiller of the day kicking in? Or maybe a truly moronic Bulletin Board Moron posting? In this upbeat mood I discuss who should feature in this year's three part Christmas Carol? Fat Aussie share ramper David Lenigas or market abuser Chris Oil? Or should I run two series? Then a discussion on when Fitbug (FITB) goes bust. After that - in a bad language section - I discuss Arian Silver (AQG) and its fucktard PR man Dominic Baretto. I move onto Plethora (PLE), Aveva (AVV), Concha (CHA), 88 Energy (88E) and Caza Oil & Gas (CAZ) before rattling off the names of a few other small oilers that really are zeros.
It seems that the repeated claims by Jabba The Hutt about my drug use (none for 25 years as it happens) are influencing one of his peasant followers into a flurry of racist slurs and wild accusations. Apparently I am now a drug producer as well as a drug user now. I leave you to marvel at rwauu from the ADVFN Afriag (AFRI) asylum but also let you know, underneath, what the City professionals think.
Over the weekend one of our most read pages was a very old article about bogus Tripadvisor reviews of a restaurant called Real Man Pizza Company. This was driven by discussions on the LSE Asylum Rare Earth Minerals (REM) thread about "defending their stock" - down again today BTW - by attacking me. And lo and behold...
The Globo (GBO) boards provided some cracking examples of Bulletin Board Moron insanity last week. I particularly liked the post “Should I have listened to the drunken blogger TW?” Yes Moron you should have been heeding my warnings on a whole range of stocks for three years but I guess you are happy staying in the Council House. But the Globo loons were trumped by a classic from a Worthington (WRN) backer:
If this owner of shares in China Norfolk Auhua (ACE) is not living in a council house already he soon will be judging by his quite bonkers investment strategy. Are you up for a challenge? Can you supply a more obvious Bulletin Board Moron of the week? Yes the contest is back.
I start this podcast with a mention of my personal weekly podcats this week - The Orwellian BBC is not fit for purpose - you can catch it here. Then onto Wildes, LGO Energy (LGO), Sefton (SER) and the consequences of wage inflation and the abandonment of sound money.
Over on the ADVFN Asylum, Condor Gold (CNR) Thread the poor saps are wondering where their money has gone. Of course …it is all my fault that the shares have cratered from 200p to 51p sending £70 million to money heaven.
What can I say other than that the poster below is a unmitigated tool. From the ADVFN asylum, Tern thread meet TEN BAG MAN:
I greatly enjoyed the video below concerning the great Peter Schiff. Peter Schiff was right. He called the 2008 market meltdown to total derision. Seven years later we are here again and so as well as scanning Bulletin Boards for the usual suspects (Quindell, Daniel Stewart, Worthington) for examples of sheer idiocy you might check out what the bulls are saying as their predictions look ever more useless. As always post your entries in the comments section below by midnight Sunday.
The Bulletin Board Morons were flying last week with shareholders in Quindell, Daniel Stewart and Worthington once again showing themselves to be the most deluded fools out there. One suspects that many folks hold all three gems and are also lapping up Rob Terry's latest fraud, Knob Park Estates ( sorry I meant Quob Park). Your entries for Bulletin Board Moron of the week were as ever spectacular, can you do better this week? The entries last time were magnificent covering a full spectrum of idiocy. You can see all the entries HERE.
The Bulletin Board Morons are noted sometimes for their denial (Afren delisted today, is there hope), sometimes for their sheer stupidity (Worthington Golden ticket holders) and sometimes for their ability to come up with conspiracy theories which are just the other side of insane (Quindell) and sometimes for letting bigotry or a blue mist overcome reality (Rangers FC). And that brings us to last week’s winning Bulletin Board Moron of the week.
In response to reader requests it is back, the all new Bulletin Board Moron of the Week. The ramblings of deranged blogger California Joe are barred to give all other morons a fair chance but any other BB Post or tweet which shows the sheer stupidity of some AIM Casino punters is eligible. Tweets by David John Hopkins or David Lenigas are eligible. We suggest that Sefton threads might prove happy hunting grounds this week although Afren, Worthington, Daniel Stewart and Quindell threads usually throw up some loons.
A special class of Bulletin Board Moron is the denier who insists that is what is patently bad news is in fact good news. The suspension of trading in shares in Quindell and an SFO/FCA probe? Yup according to the Quindell Echo that was – on balance good news. Worthington no news is good news if you are a denier. As for Afren, possibly bankruptcy well that is a buying opportunity for the denier.
I am not sure about you but I am getting 150% bored with two companies with a combined market cap of c£5million, viz Sefton Resources and New World Oil & Gas. But your esteemed editor flip flop Ben Turney does not share that sense of ennui. And so to this week's competition.
There is no Bulletin Board Moron of the week thread but I felt compelled to pass on this gem speculating about what the market abuser Chris Oil and his manservant Dan Levi were up to at Sefton. The mind boggles. Over to some loon on twitter who speculates:
As an alternative to Bulletin Board Moron of the week this week we launch a new contest - twitter ramper of the week and as it is our debut all tweets going back to May 8th are eligible. And that meas that to win the contest you have to show a tweet which is either criminal or just mindless ramping that beats this one from market abuser Chris Oil.
Camkids is capitalised at £12.5 million. It claims to have increased its cash pile by £9 million to £40 million last year and to be profitable and generating cash. Yet it cannot afford a £1 milluion dividend. Sound a bit Naibu-esque? Oddly it is from the same China province (Fuijian) and is engaged in the same business, fraud. Ooops we meant making shoes. And there are still folks who think its shares are cheap. In their honour we bring you this week's Bulletin Board moron contest.
Mr head in the sand, I see no China frauds on AIM, Mr Xaviet Rolet is today crowned Bulletin Moron of the week Despite fierce competition from the LSE Asylum. Nigel Somerville spotted this classic statement of denial from Mr Rolet:
Earlier today I revealed the full scale of the fraud that is Naibu. I also revealed that the LSE wants to get more China frauds, oops, I mean companies on AIM as it insists that there is no problem at all, Suddenly the board of the London Stock Exchange are starting to make posters on the LSE Asylum look like a bunch of Nobel prize winners. In that vein we honour the chaps at the London Stock Exchange with this week's Bulletin Board Moron contest.
On the very day that market abuser Chris Oil started selling 96 million shares in Sefton Resources (SER) he tweeted out that the stock was a buy to those who follow him. There were other ramps to follow as Oil cleared his position which were so blatant that the FCA is now investigating him. To be so blatant with your market abuse surely makes you a Bulletin Board Moron but perhaps you have spotted someone tweeting or posting something even more stupid. we suggest that boards for New World, Sefton and Worthington will once again throw up some examples.
We have often criticised Nomad Roland “fatty” Cornish for his role in the debacles at New World Oil & Gas (NEW), Gate Ventures (GATE) and other AIM casino omnishambles stories. Now he is also acting for Rob Terry’s Daniel Stewart (DAN). But in acting for all these POS enterprises and for signing off on so many comically misleading RNS statements, fatty does have a function. He keeps these joke Companies on the AIM casino and that gives the folks on the LSE Asylum something to froth about. Heck, I forgot – fatty also used to act for Aiden Earley’s Worthington (WRN).
Flip flop himself posted a couple of entries and almost won but I would have been accused of fixing the contest so we can’t have that. As such the winner is Bondholder with a posting, needless to say, from the LSE Asylum
Ben Turney seems to think that bankrupting a stack of private investors and allowing a false market to run in an AIM stock is a good thing and will clean up AIM. Apparently young Ben has a lot of supporters on the LSE Asylum which is a clear sign that he is losing the plot. Anyhow, as such he is not allowed to enter his own tweets or posts in this week’s Bulletin Board Moron contest as he needs to give others a fair chance. With four days to go to the General Election we are also allowing any daft MP quotes in this contest.
Until the General Election is finally over, we are allowing both idiot comments by MPs or political figures as well as by Bulletin Board Morons to be entered in this contest. And as such we have a tie for the most moronic posting of the week.
By popular demand it is back but for the next two weeks we add a General Election twist. As ever the rules are simple. Filthylucre and Bananabob cannot post their own comments on this website as entries as they are just too good. But any other comment on a Bulletin Board or twitter is eligible. But we also allow you to post any comment made by a politician during the Election campaign which is self-evidently ludicrous and unjustifiable. The most ludicrous or idiotic statement wins. We knew Vince Cable would come in handy one day. Although that mad Aussie who leads the Greens gives crazy old Vince a good run for his money.
Over the weekend Big Dave Lenigas of UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) and numerous other companies took to twitter with a series of evening tweets threatening to sue some Bulletin Board Moron from the Grim Northern welfare safaris who had questioned Horse Hill. Has Big Dave actually launched proceedings? We know not. But next up is Andrew Bell of Red Rock Resources (RRR) who Lenigas accuses of “being a liar”
Maybe I did not make the General Election element of this contest clear. Merely pointing out policies that do not stack or the general duplicity of Call Me Dave or insanity of Vince Cable/The Greens does not win – we need a specific quote that is self-evidently insane. Please do better this week HERE. And thus the winner of last week’s contest is…

I am in a good mood today for two very good reasons (here and here) and I sense that this will endear me all the more to the Morons on the LSE Asylum especially on the Worthington board but also Quindell as we head towards PWC. Thus- in response to reader requests – with a deadline of Sunday midnight, Bulletin Board Moron of the Week is back.
Given the sheer insanity of the LSE Asylum Quindell (QPP) thread last week and forthcoming Worthington (WRN) events and the denial among Afren (AFR) shareholders the competition is back but is limited to just these three stocks. Afren is a basket case the other two are fraudulent basket cases. Update: The Deputy Sheriff of AIM insists that postings on Tern (TERN) are deranged enough to be included.
Oh dear. Having yesterday suggested that 99% of Bulletin Board posters are sane and just 1% morons I appear to be getting some stick from our readers for being too much of a nice guy. I can’t win. With PWC looming for Quindell, insolvency looming for Afren and with the revalation of a fraud a day promised by me for Worthington, this week promises to see the loons in a true frenzy. Just remember:
In light of today’s disastrous news from Slater & Gordon the Bulletin Board Morons will be in a frenzy convincing themselves that this is great news for Quindell (QPP). I am also working on a Worthington (WRN) expose - in case you had not guessed it is a 100% fraud from top to bottom - so I sense that the morons will serve up some gems this week. Let us celebrate the best of them. Now I realise…
Once again there were numerous entries which again demonstrated that some folk should not be allowed to be in charge of a piggy bank let alone trade in shares. You can see all the week eleven examples of lunacy on Quindell, Worthington and Afren HERE. As it happens there is a tie for first place with both nominations coming from Juicin Drumroll.
It appears that the insane and deluded are now congregating on the boards dedicated to three worthless stocks: Quindell (QPP), Afren (AFR) and Worthington (WRN). And so for this week's competition, all posts must relate to comments made on those stocks and also on Mosman Oil & Gas just for fun. Note to Dom Cooper, nominating the entire output of Quindell Express or the QPPSAG does not qualify as an entry. Those folks will be dealt with at a later date. The deadline for entries is next Sunday. Post away in the comments section below.
I sense that a good number of shareholders in Quindell (QPP) also have stock in Afren (AFR) and Worthington (WRN). If the last of those three is ever unsuspended it is lining up to replace Quenron in my affections when Rob Terry’s creation goes bust. It truly is a POS built on sand. As such if you are hunting for a week 11 winner of Bulletin Board Moron of the week I suggest a good look at the Worthington threads might be in order. In terms of a week ten winner, the full list of rantings from the insane is here but the winners are:
Prabhat Sakya writes for Motley Fool and thinks that Quindell (QPP) is a good yield play on a PE of 1.2 and thus has sold his Barclays shares to buy more Quenron – words fail me. Just to show that morons do not obnly post on the LSE.co.uk I bring you Prabhat’s latest pearls of wisdom as a treat. It is a hoot. Do you think you kind find anyone thicker than Prabhat posting sheer lunacy on a Bulletin Board? If so please post those gems in the comments section below – deadline midnight 1st February.
Sadly Mr Rhys Griffiths of law firm Field Fisher who believes in time travel has not been posting. Rhys old boy please do us a favour and stop acting as a bully boy lawyer for Bulletin Board Morons at the LSE.co.uk and become one yourself – you are so entertaining. In the absence of any more gems from Rhys, we must look elsewhere for a winner.
Mr Rhys Griffiths of law firm Field Fisher would have to be a prime contender for this award. He reckons that I have invented a time machine and also made up a quote for me to support his mad thesis. Sadly he did not post his ramblings on a Bulletin Board but sent them in a joke lawyer’s letter to me on behalf of the asylum known as LSE.co.uk so he is ineligible. But in honour of the buffoons who paid him £500 an hour to produce such piffle the competition is back.
Okay none of you guessed, my first lawyer’s letter of the year came from Lse.co.uk. Apparently I have damaged its good name and caused it distress. Yes, that is the website which each day carries at least 50 posts smearing me with all sorts of abuse and lies. Next up, Prince Andrew is going to give me a lecture for inappropriate behaviour because my wife is six years younger than I am.
In today's podcast I refer to the excellent Black Swan 2015 review by Richard Poulden which you should all read. I cover the issue of how low the oil price could go but also what we as investors should assume that it will be. I touch on IGAS and Northern Petroleum (both shorts). And the I look at the issue of what constitutes market abuse in the Bulletin Board Moron community
Quenron (QPP) shares are now down to 32p. 0p or suspension or both looms and is coming soon. Even the dumbest fuck in the universe must understand that. But no, Tom Dobell at M&G and the posters on the LSE Asylum just reckon it is corporate governance or in the case of the latter it is all down to me. Today’s moron DMajor explains Quenron’s share price collapse by posting six sentences containing three howling spelling mistakes or grammatical errors and NINE lies about me.
As ever the standard of entries was very high. As I sit here in a very much open Real Man Pizza Company I reflect on the poster who has it on “good authority" that RMPC has gone bust, unlike Quenron (QPP) where he is still “long and strong.” To read all 36 nominated examples of sheer idiocy click HERE. But there has to be a winner:
Today Quindell (QPP) has admitted that it can only continue to trade because its banks have not (yet) pulled its overdraft. It had flagged up that mammoth writedowns of revenue unwisely recognised which was bogus and of goodwill is on the way. It has not explained why it bought a company from a convicted Nigerian fraudster for £30 million. And some folks think this is good news. For example…
All my work since I first used the word Red Flag in April 2013 has been vindicated. My scoops of this weekend on Quindell (QPP) have been shown as true - today's statement is a total disaster for Quenron. Bulletin board morons who abused and threatened me get your sorry arses round to Real Man Pizza today to buy a large pizza and expensive bottle of wine and give my fantastic staff a large tip to say SORRY. The following points stand out:
We are giving Bulletin Board Moron of the Week a rest for now but it will be back. And so thanks to readers Jane & Bobby Chariot we have a new contest for you all – “The 12 Days of Quissmas” – all you need to do is provide lyrics for a contemporary version. All entries must starts with “On the first day of Quissmas, Rob Terry gave to me, a stonking short on QPP”.
Are these folks certifiably insane or is this parody? You really just do not know these days but this post has it all: a blinding faith in Rob Terry, total lack of historic knowledge, ludicrous bid story, technical analysis, total innumeracy and the Harriet Green to be CEO story. Could this be the most brainless Bulletin Board Moron yet or is just an attempt at humour. Given how many loons here are out there I suspect the former and Jerry2Toes is the Bulletin Board Moron of the day. From the ADVFN Asylum I bring you:
