If a company does not pay a bill then ultimately the easiest way to force its hand is to seek a County Court Judgement (CCJ) against it. The process costs £20 to kick off and is simple enough. Once you get a judgement you can if you need to send in the bailiffs to recover goods equivalent to what you are owed plus costs.
