Sosandar – I might be in a minority of one, but….
I think we all agree that AIM-listed Sosandar (SOS) is a “good” rather than a “bad” company here on ShareProphets, it is just the valuation which some (quite understandably) question. The company filed its interims on Wednesday and I have to say that overall I was pretty pleased, although the cashburn might be a worry.

Share Portfolio Tumbling? Perhaps Not, if You Do Penny Stocks.
Hello, Share Swipers. If your shares are toppling backwards at the moment, you may have the balance wrong between big cap companies and penny stocks. My portfolio is probably split 50-50, with very few firms in the boring middle range. Off course, its the Footsie giants which are most affected by the general slide. Then penny shares, as usual, are going their own way, be it up or down.

Directa Plus – new agreements & argues “good progress” and “increasing confidence”, but what does it all mean financially?
Writing on Directa Plus (DCTA) in September, with the shares up to circa 70p, I questioned do road test & CEO share purchase merit the shares soaring?. Now, an “Environmental Sale and Participation in Trial” announcement today has followed a trading update yesterday…

Sabien -99.7% value destruction since IPO, another bailout placing, it won’t be the last
Oh dear! Bad news from the boiler room. In this case I refer not to the offices of Peterhouse Corporate Finance, broker to this dog but to Sabien (SNT) itself, yet another company that planned to revolutionise the world of boilers when it raised money at 52p and listed in December 2006. Today’s latest bailout placing is at 0.1p and the owners of the 400 million pieces of confetti issued will end up owning 64% of the enlarged equity. More dilution vicar? It will not be the last.

Seeing Machines – CFO “to step down” as company regales a litany of success. Really?
I noted in September not ‘pleased’ to announce results from Seeing Machines (SEE) – and now the company announces that “James Palmer, Chief Financial Officer, is to step down from his position for personal reasons”. Hmmm…

Interserve – well, well, what a surprise!
Following the suggestion from the BBC that fully listed Interserve (IRV) was planning to tap up its shareholders for cash, and the non-denial which didn’t even mention it from Interserve, today the cat has partially escaped from the bag. We are told this morning that a Deleveraging plan [is] movng forward for announcement in early 2019. Given that year-end net debt is expected by the company to sit at between £625-650 million and the market capitalisation is (last seen) down to just £49 million it is clear that the BBC story is only partially true, as I suggested HERE.

Mobile Streams – ramptastic user number RNS Reach. Hmmm, why now I wonder?
A “MOS welcome the 6 millionth user”-titled announcement from Mobile Streams (MOS) sounds ramptastic… and it’s an RNS Reach (“non-regulatory news releases such as marketing messages, corporate and product information”). Alarm bells ringing…

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: why Frontera could be a zero within days & the old offshore based asset stripper Jim Mellon does his annual spoof
In today's bearcast I explian where I was yesterday afternoon with Joshua. Roaarrrr! Then I look at Condor Gold (CNR), Galantas (GAL), Amur (DOG), Flybe (FLYB), Asiamet (ARS), the spoofing by the loathsome & always wrong CBI and at Frontera Resources (FRR) and why it could be a zero within days.

Optibiotix – Greek deal, news via Adam Reynolds keyboard but better to come – BUY
Shares in Optibiotix (OPTI) have not been immune to the general market sell off and trade at 64p-66p despite some more positive news. The frustration is that it has been announced with a release typed on the Adam Reynolds keyboard, the one with no numbers on it. But fear not bigger deals with real numbers will follow shortly...

FW Thorpe – warns, but with main business orders “have started to recover” is a 13%+ share price fall justified?
A 12:45pm “AGM Statement” from FW Thorpe (TFW) included “orders for our main business, Thorlux Lighting, were slow in the first quarter but have started to recover in October and November… other parts of the group continue to perform well”. Does such really justify an approaching 14% share price decline? – the shares sliding below 250p…

Car Battery Technology Could Mean a Whizbang Future for this Chemical Giant
Hello, Share Squeakers. Continuing my cautious policy of bringing to your attention companies which continue to boost profits, rather than those ventures which grow revenues but whose profits lag behind, I suggest you look at Johnson Matthey (JMAT)...

FireAngel – argues “increasing pipeline of opportunities continues to build”… but for now it’s another “materially below” warning!
Previously writing on shares in home safety products company FireAngel Safety Technology (FA.), I noted as they soared to 77.5p on a partnering agreement that the upcoming reality of disappointing results together with even the near-term trading outlook uncertain saw me continue to avoid. Today a “Trading Update” – and the shares currently circa 20% lower on the day of the back of it, towards 35.5p!...

Tern – attempts to calm with Portfolio Update…..shares down 8% and here's why
AIM-listed jam-tomorrow investment company Tern plc (TERN) has seen its share price slipping sharply since they peaked in mid-June at 58p. What better way to reassure the market than with a Portfolio Update? That’ll help….or not: the shares are 10% down today, at just 13.5p. I’m sure the placees at 26p in July will be delighted….

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Redcentric why can't you mothers just be honest about firing your CEO?
Ahead of a trip to the zoo and Barclays (BARC) with Joshua I look at Redcentric (RCN), Juridicia (JIL), Veltyco (VLTY), Integumen (SKIN), Urals Energy (UEN) and the shame of the bosses at the AIM Casino - Andalas (ADL), BlueJay (JAY), Chesterfield (CHF) and Mothercare (MTC) which will just NOT be around in five years time.

Veltyco – shares slumping on “Update on receivables and operations”. Uh oh…
Previously writing on Veltyco (VLTY), with the shares heading towards 50p in July, I concluded it was the developing receivables / cash flow position making the team uneasy that resulted in the HotStockRockets sell call and that the concerns remain - and the stance remains to avoid. Now an “Update on receivables and operations”…

Laurel & Hardy Oil & Gas - Zac plunges in his bloodied knife & calls on shareholders to sack the board
The City's No 1 Oil analyst, Zac "the knife" Phillips of SP Angel spares no-one, except corporate clients like Mosman (MSMN) when he is ordered by evil John Meyer to write shite or get the sack. Luckily Hardy Oil & Gas (HDY) is not a corporate and thus The Knife is at his poisonous best. He opines...

Filthy Forty Walcom – profit warning, defaulting customer still not paying, discussions with lender. Uh-oh…..
Yesterday ShareProphets AIM-China Filthy Forty member (one of only 7 remaining) Walcom (WALG) updated the market on its efforts to get its largest customer to pay its bills. Bad news there, as was the accompanying profit warning, repayments of borrowings, discussions with lender and the final coup de grace: ….the Company may be in a position where it is unable to settle its liabilities as and when they fall due. What’s not to like!
