BREAKING EXCLUSIVE: New 1 billion Euro short dossier from Gabriel Grego - Italy AIM listed Bio-On
The man who exposed Globo (GBO) and Folli Follie as outright frauds is back with a devestating new dossier on 1 billion Euro capitalised Bio-On which is listed on Italy's AIM market. This looks like a slam dunk zero to me. The dossier from Gabriel and Quintessential Asset Management is below.. as ever we are first with the news....

Modern Water – another intra-day Membrane division update. Uh oh…
Previously writing on Modern Water (MWG), earlier this month I noted “world-leading technologies” hey, but that previous update including “cash flows have been slower than anticipated from the Membranes Division and, consequently, additional working capital will be required in the short-term” and concluded the seeming lack of progress despite the issue being obvious for a while, sees me again concur with Nigel’s original analysis. Still a sell. Now another intra-day (this one 1:27pm) update!...

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Waiting for Jono & another Gabriel Grego AIM bombshell
My fat, drunken, friend Jono from Zimbabwe arrives at the Welsh Hovel shortly and I shall try not to allow him to lead me astray. I also await Gabriel's next bombshell dossier I am to publish tomorrow morning. In this podcast I look at the wider implications of the RM2 (RM2) debacle for Neil Woodford, at IQE (IQE), at Fevertree (FEVR) - hat tip Leon Boros - at St James House (SJH) and at Diversified Gas & Oil (DGOC).

Woodford Dog RM2 – catastrophe as Neil is snookered
After bailing out the ridiculous AIM-listed RM2 (RM2) over and over again with other people’s money before his own supply ran dry, Neil Woodford finds himself completely snookered this morning as RM2 has announced a bailout fundraising without Woodford and he faces the choice now of being diluted to oblivion or watching it go bust. Of course, readers of this fine website have been warned and warned and warned. But Neil always knew best.

PZ Cussons – losses in Africa... but still a buy?
I criticised PZ Cussons (PZC) last month for not saying enough to investors and explaining why its long-standing CFO has left, but today it is making a bit more of an effort with full-year numbers. I have been a buyer of the Carex, Imperial Leather and St Tropez brand owner for a while but I must admit I so far have failed to pop down to Nigeria to check out its current large corporate malaise on the ground…

Motorpoint – “remains confident in its full year outlook”. Hmmm…
An “AGM Trading Update” from the UK's largest independent vehicle retailer Motorpoint (MOTR) concludes “the board believes Motorpoint is well placed to continue to take market share and remains confident in its full year outlook”. The shares have though responded lower, towards 200p…

The Curse of the Sheriff of AIM – Atlantic Carbon goes bust, it's ouzo time
You may remember how Atlantic Carbon claimed it was worth a fortune based on “analysts reports” produced by SEC indicted crooks and then planned a London listing after Reversing into Peter Shea’s Daniel Stewart. Mr Shea and former Atlantic Carbon boss Adam Wilson should not have threatened the Sheriff with a fascist lawyer’s letter over at Daniel Stewart. That guaranteed my wall to wall coverage and exposes and now the curse has struck… Atlantic Carbon, as you can see below is worth not $86.8 million but NOTHING. It has gone bust. Crack out the ouzo.

Optibiotix new distribution deal fails to impress...BUT...
Optibiotix (OPTI) shares now trade at 72p to buy after the announcement of a new deal with a company called BioEnergiser Ltd for the online distribution of SlimBiome Medical in the UK. SlimBiome Medical is a CE-marked medical device which independent clinical studies show reduces hunger, cravings for sweet and savoury foods, and fat intake. Steve O’Hara tells me this is not because Optibiotix's own online sales are slowing. Far from it. But this is just another channel to market...

Redemptions Watch: Neil Woodford’s Income Focus – half a step forward, two back; when does WIM become non-viable?
This morning’s data from Morningstar shows that yesterday Neil Woodford’s Income Focus Fund put on 0.08% of NAV per unit. That should have increased the total fund marginally from £287.2 million to £287.4 million before redemptions hit...

Fox Marble – acquisitions dispute escalates, Malesheva quarry operations suspended
Updating on Fox Marble (FOX) last month we noted enforceability of acquisition agreements challenged – though it believing the claims to be wholly unfounded. It now re-emphasises this “based on legal advice”, though “has suspended operations in its Malesheva quarry in Kosovo pending a resolution to the dispute”…

Take a Peek at this Battler Against Liver Cancer - It's Just Reported Encouraging Results
Hello, Share Schemers. Some of us have a warm feeling when we invest in a company which hopes to push back the onslaught of awful conditions like cancer. But it helps if the medical pioneer has a treatment under review which may have a good chance of working. So may I bring to your attention a company on both AIM and the Nasdaq...

Centrica – a dividend cut? Then give back the bonuses and pay rises, Mr Conn.
I commented HERE some three months ago that fully-listed Centrica (CNA) bosses seemed to be helping themselves to big piggy pay-rises and bonuses ahead of chopping the dividend. Well here we are: the papers are full of stories that the payout it indeed now to be hacked.

Immedia – from “successful conversion of a number of opportunities” to “contract conversions are taking longer than first anticipated” in less than 4 weeks!
Previously writing on supplier of audio and visual content to organisations Immedia Group (IME), in May with the shares at 22.5p I concluded certainly it’s the cash flow to be monitored here currently – and I’d listen to the market and currently avoid. Today an intra-day (10:27am) “Trading Update”. Uh oh…

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Recorded on an Edwardian eco-loo chair in a barn
I explain the unusual location of my studio today. The welsh hovel is amok with workmen including Brokerman Dan who has explained to me his thoughts on Union Jack Oil (UJO) as he clears away asbestos. I also look at IQE (IQE) and at Idox (IDOX) both of which SHOULD have placings and neither of which I'd bottom fish.

Biome Technologies – bioplastics potential but Stanelco RF Technologies concerns justified?
Previously writing on Biome Technologies (BIOM), with the shares at 380p in April I concluded the seeming Bioplastics potential interests, but the Stanelco deterioration potential concerns – and for now it’s a watching brief for me; still on the watchlist. The shares had recently reached 430p but are currently back down below 400p on the back of a trading update…

Rockhopper Exploration – Is the Sea Lion development going to happen?
So often I have heard mention of the Falkland basin and it being written off. With much promise over many years, but little tangible return so far, I can understand much of the negativity. Many oil assets takes far long than hoped to see projects move forward to production, and that has certainly been the case for Rockhopper Exploration’s (RKH) Sealion project as Gary Newman noted last December, but I can see light at the end of the tunnel.

Carclo – results delayed again; now it’s “hopes” to avoid shares suspension!
Shares in Carclo (CAR) are currently more than 5% higher on the day on the back of “Update and timing of results announcement” news. However, the current 13.5p share price compares to 20.5p when I cautioned earlier this month (and around 140p when I first warned here)…

Neil Woodford’s WPCT and Equity Income Fund – about that transfer of Atom Bank & the missing links
Call me a total pedant, but a question seems to arise over the transfer of shares in Atom Bank from Neil Woodford’s Equity Income Fund (WEIF) to Woodford Patient capital Trust (WPCT) as announced on 1 March 2019.

Reader Poll: IQE appoints new Nomad and broker so what price is the bailout placing?
We warned you two days before the most recent profits warning from IQE that one was on the way, HERE, and when it arrived it meant that the company was a slam dunk cert to need a bailout placing. Today we discover that Canaccord has been axed as Nomad and replaced by Peel Hunt while Citigroup joins the party as co broker. This can only mean one thing, that bailout placing is imminent. So with the shares at 52.4p on Friday (and overvalued at that) at what price do you think the placing will be at? Vote below with a deadline of midnight tonight.
