Imaginatik – placing complete, but sufficient to net cash generation?
Innovation-focused consultancy and software company, Imaginatik (IMTK) has announced completion of a placing it believes, together with an accompanying open offer, “will be sufficient to take the company to the stage where it is generating net positive cashflow”. Hmmm...

Discredited Teathers director Nilesh Jagatia has form in failing to produce accounts on time
It seems that Nilesh Jagatia, discredited director of Teathers Financial (TEA), has got recent form when it comes to failing to submit accounts by the statutory deadline. Mr Jagatia is finance directors of a number of Plcs, including one of my old favourites, the piece of Turkish that is Inspirit Energy (INSP). Just like Teathers, in December last year Inspirit received a First Gazette to strike the company off the register of companies for failing to provide its accounts on time. What is it that Mr Jagatia doesn’t understand about the legal requirements concerning his job?

Former Bank Robber accuses Shareprophets of fraud - Ho Ho Ho
I guess when serial bank robbers accuse you of fraud you must be doing something right. And that is exactly what happened yesterday when we slated the latest bailout from Piece of Crap Golden Saint Resources (GSR) which seemed to anger Brokerman Dan Levi.

Igas – company update = shareholders set to take a bath. But just how bad is it?
This morning AIM-listed and overindebted Igas Energy (IGAS) released a company update RNS. There was some positive waffle about good progress on its five year shale developments plans, pointing investors to the recent planning permission given to Third Energy for fracking to be employed at a site in Yorkshire. But it is the parlous state of Igas’ finances that this RNS addresses. It looks grim.

LGO Energy - More frantic turd polishing in today's trading statement
Jeepers, if turd polishing was an olympic sport Neil Ritson of LGO Energy (LGO) would be battling for a place, after so much practice he has acqusired a certain skill. But a turd is - however polished - still a turd and that brings us to the statement today from POS LGO.

Disgraced Teathers Financial “forgets” to publish proxy form on its website
The discredited board of Teathers Financial appears determined to make itself look as bad as possible in its ongoing battle with activist shareholders. Yesterday the company managed to publish the EGM circular on the company’s website, but “forgot” to include the proxy form shareholders need to appoint proxies. Fear not though, ShareProphets has a copy of the form here.

Why BHP Billiton Shares May Have Been Oversold and Could Now Be a Bargain.
Hello Share Swipers. BHP Billiton (BLT) is a famous mining and oil producing company. It provides us with iron ore, copper, diamonds, aluminium, the ebony nectar and natural gas. I can imagine in my mind's eye many of you are now heading for the door. But hang on a bit. Not only is the oil price rising, but this company has been held down by issues which may have been overdone.

Ten Alps – “Disposal” announcement not exactly a game-changer!
Having recently gone in just over two months from being “on track to generate a full year profit for the first time in a number of years and to continue momentum into the medium term” to having “continued to sustain losses in certain parts of its publishing operations… these continued losses are likely to result in the group not being profitable for the year as a whole”, Ten Alps (TAL) sought to somewhat reassure with that it “is in advanced stages of discussion on the disposal of certain areas of its publishing business”. We now have an announcement of “the disposal of the trade of Grove House Publishing Limited, one of its publishing subsidiaries, for a cash consideration of”…

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: 1200 Miss World Contestants and Harriet Harman are on stage and you MUST go on a date with 1 of them - who would you pick?
The Mrs is sitting in the room and thinks my analogy is a bit sexist. Fecking political correctness gone mad, that is what I say. In today's bearcast I cover, in some detail, African Potash (AFPO), Avanti Communications (AVN) and Fitbug (FITB).

Water Intelligence - A Surprisingly Intelligent Investment?
This morning saw annual results released for Water Intelligence Plc (WATR), which owns American Leak Detection, Inc. This primarily US-based business (clue is in the name) uses infrared and other advanced technologies to find and fix water leaks. I’m sceptical of US companies on AIM but will try to approach this with an open mind!

Plexus Holdings – previous doubts borne out as “Conditional Placing” announced
On Plexus Holdings (POS) announcing the raising of $5 million of new equity in April, I questioned whether it was to fast track its entry into the Russian and other markets or to keep the lights on – see HERE. We now further have an answer – with the company announcing a conditional (including on 28th June General Meeting approval) gross £6 million placing including to “strengthen Plexus' balance sheet during the current down cycle”...

Un-fecking-believable: Disgraced Teathers board blames action group for failure to publish accounts
Over the weekend shareholders in Teathers Financial (TEA) started to receive circulars for the forthcoming EGM. Having tried and failed to bully its shareholders into calling off the EGM, Teathers’ board has adopted new tactics in the circular - lies and smears.

Golden Saint Resources raises £400,000 to keep paying crony capitalists but where are its fecking results?
Last year Golden Saint Resources (GSR) waited until it got a placing away in late May to announce its piss poor results. It needed extra cash to satisfy the auditors that it was solvent, let alone a going concern. This year it seems that broker Cornhill could not bring itself to stiff its clients again - hats off to Frangos and team for showing some integrity. But bucket shop- SVS Securities has no such qualms and has raised £400,000 gross ( £371,000 net of fees to crony capitalists) at 0.07p. So I guess we can now see the results soon.

Trinity Exploration - will its $23 million tax black hole sink it for good? Or will something else sink it first?
It is in default on its loans but the banks keep putting off the day they pull the plug. Today the company admitted that its attempts to sell its assets had not yet secured any firm offers. Well knock me down with a feather boa sailor, quell fecking surprise. But now it gets worse. Top analyst Zac Phillips, a man who was once seen as the Geoffrey Howe of hydrocarbon analysis but who is rapidly become an attack shark, flags up a massive black hole of a tax liability for Trinity Exploration (TRIN). Writing in the SP Angel morning note today Jaws warns:

There is massive speculation about Gulf Keystone (GKP) on the Bulletin Boards and I see that the shares are ahead at 4.2p today. But there are only two facts and I remind you of both as the clock is ticking, it is 11.59 Pm and at midnight shares in this company are likely to go pop.

As the Shares Stop Pounding Along, You Might Consider Cashing In.
Hello Share Peddlars. I am a big fan of Poundland (PLND) stores, but not of its shares. When the company went public, I did not participate. This was for the 11-plus level of reasoning that at only a pound a purchase, it was going to have to sell a load of stuff to bring in decent profits.
