Bad News for WH Ireland - I am "in" on its AGM and so is Jim Bagot

Oh dear, oh dear, I am sorry to have to break the news to WH Ireland (WHI) but a shareholder in the esteemed firm of pensioner muggers has agreed to appoint both myself and Jim Bagot as its "corporate representative" ahead of the AGM on March 30th.

Charlatan & Snake Oil Salesman Darren Winters slammed by Judge, another thrashing due April 3

Oh dear, the charlatan Darren Winters who has made millions over the past fifteen years conning poor folks into paying vast sums to attend his worthless courses is having a bad start to 2017. First there was a total slating by the ASA for telling lies to win custom, now we can publish the Judges's verdict in a case we backed where Winters tried to exact money with menaces. The Judge was damning.

BOS

BOS Global – My biggest AIM bugbear: the share price spoof

I haven’t been following BOS Global (BOS) that closely since the comedy gold video I commented on HERE but note the share price has increased quite nicely in recent months, much to my surprise. I noted, however, an acquisition announced yesterday which included the one thing that annoys me more than any other on AIM, the spoof made-up share price for equity issued as consideration for acquisitions. Let me explain.

And this another reason why folks just can't take ADVFN seriously...its joke awards are announced

The joke awards from ADVFN (AFN) are here again and yet again Brokerman Dan is honoured as the share blogger of the year. Two wins in three years. Nothing to do with him being on the board of delisted & shamed Sefton Resources together with his pals the ADVFN bosses, running an online tipsheet with the ADVFN Chairman this is all down to merit. Oh yes it is. Stop sniggering at the back! Actually it is not the most "interesting" award.

AZN

AstraZeneca May Rise If New Drug Launches Come off

One of the big pharmaceuticals which I think will prosper on the misfortunes of millions of people is AstraZeneca (AZN). This is not to say that the company is exploitative. Quite the opposite - its scientists are only trying to help.

Tom Winnifrith: I think this is my best bearcast for months: Redcentric, the FCA, arrogant dickhead fund managers, Independent Resources & Mkango

I hope this does not sound conceited but I think this is possibly my best bearcast for some time. I really enjoyed this from start to finish. Maybe I shall not go into retirement just yet, after all. Or maybe I still will. Anyhow, on the agenda: Redcentric (RCN), MX Capital (MXCP), the FCA, Mkango Resources (MKA), Independent Resources (IRG), arrogant dickhead fund managers and the UK Investor Show.

Paddington Bear tucks into JackpotJoy as a big short call

There is split opinion on Standard & TSX listed JackpotJoy (JPY) both from people I highly respect. On the one hand Odey (not Crispin) are buyers and own a significant stake, and on the other hand we have Marc Cohodes who presented the bear case at Grants Conference here.

Oil-Rig

The Oil price is heading for a sharp fall

High market prices are currently being supported by OPEC cutbacks, and these higher profits are funding the growth of American drilling. American oil explorers who survived the worst of the 2014-2016 market sell off are dismissive of the 14 percent slide in prices this year from a high of $55.24 to around $48 a barrel. The price would have to drop to the $30s or lower to dent the bottom line of many drillers now working U.S. shale fields, according to Katherine Richard, the CEO of Warwick Energy Investment Group, which own stakes in more than 5,000 oil and natural gas wells.

PEB

Pebble Beach Systems – “Final Settlement of VCS Consideration”, so much for “substantially debt-free”!

“Final Settlement of VCS Consideration” announcement from Pebble Beach Systems (PEB). I remind that on the conditional sale being announced on 20th October that RNS concluded “if the transaction completes then the group will be left substantially debt-free and to execute its software transition strategy with Pebble Beach Systems”

GDP

Goldplat - 63% upside says house broker VSA

Goldplat (GDP) has announced that it has secured a $2 million short term debt facility from Scipion Capital. The loan is structured as a revolving pre-export facility and is available for 360 days from first drawdown. Interest is LIBOR plus 9.5%pa and repayment and interest are due monthly. Security on the drawn amounts has been granted over GDP’s South African tailings facility. This has prompted house ( thus not impartial) broker VSA to increase its target price by 9% and thus it claims that the shares, at 7.375p offer 63% upside.

Calling all WH Ireland shareholders - will anyone make me their AGM proxy ASAP

It has been drawn to my attention that the pensioner mugging free speech hating, free press threatening bastards at WH Ireland (WHI) are holding a GM on 30th March, a day when I just happen to be in London. I would very much like to attend as would Mr Bagot, a pensioner WH Ireland knows well. But we need your help.

Is Bracknor spoofing investors to postpone the collapse of the Advanced Oncotherapy death spiral?

Death spiral provider Bracknor does not buy shares in companies. It loans the desperate, cash at pound of flesh rates which it then converts into shares at discounted rates and flogs to mug punters. That is the classic death spiral model. But to get such a death spiral away it needs a perception of market liquidity and also to avoid a complete short term collapse of the share price. And that brings us to Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO).

CPX

CAP-XX – interims argue “excellent progress”, but financials look CrAP (XX)

Self-described “world leader in the design and manufacture of supercapacitors, which considerably extend the performance of batteries”, CAP-XX (CPX) has announced results including that it “has again made excellent progress over the six months to 31 December 2016 and beyond in building on and refining its strategy”. Sounds positive. What? The shares currently 16% lower, at 8.5p?!?…

Bulletin Board Moron of Week & Year is Long & Strong the fraud Cloudtag

Poster wiids on the LSE Asylum should not be confused with our own in-house loon Wildes. Frankly Wiids makes our in house pet loon look like Warren Buffett. The LSE Loon is a strong contender for BB Moron of the Year with this classic from last week but it is a bit like Ed Sheeran and the top 10 (heck kids I know what is hip & trending!), Wiids is dominating the Bulletin Board Morons chart. You can see a number of postings by this loon in last week's contest but the winner, nominated by a number of you, is:

China FRAUD Aquatic Foods Q4 update: drowning in a sea of Red Flags

ShareProphets AIM-China Filthy Forty purveyor of all things fishy, Aquatic Foods (AFG), has updated on 2016 Q4 trading this morning. In a statement plastered with Red Flags it would appear that the company is nearing the final chapter of the China Norfolk playbook as we are warned that there has been a spot of bother getting cash out of China. Is it bye-bye to the dividend?

MSG

Milestone Group – a lifestyle business for Deborah White: the hard data

I think Deborah White of Milestone Group (MSG) should be fired and then made to to a perp walk for her blatant breach of AIM rules with regard to non disclosure of price sensitive information. But there is another reason to hand Debs a p45 today...her stunning record of non delivery. It is worth chronicling just how bad it is.

ZIN

Zinc Media looks expensive based on latest financials

Small AIM outfit Zinc Media (ZIN) released its interim results last week and trumpeted that it is continuing to move in the right direction, but I would question whether the turnaround is happening fast enough to make the shares attractive.

How the Weak Oil Price Threatens the Footsie's Perky Progress

Hello Share Twirlers. Though the Footsie has been striding ahead, it would have done far better if the oil price had behaved itself. We are not just talking oil shares, but the whole of the share economy. A weak oil price has a negative effect all round.

CTAG

Bulletin Board Moron of the Week Contest Sponsored by the FRAUD Cloudtag (again)

It has only just dawned on me that in exactly two weeks time, at 4.30 PM I shall be cracking open the ouzo to celebrate the fact that no Nomad on AIM is so desperate for cash and morally bankrupt that it will act for the fraud Cloudtag (CTAG). And there will thus be an RNS issued to say that it will be slung off the Casino. As that day looms, how will the Bulletin Board Morons spin that as good news? Happy hunting on Cloudtag threads - and others - as we ask you to nominate the most moronic BB posts or tweets in the comments section below. The deadline is midnight Sunday 19th March and, yes, Wildes our pet in-house loon - can nominate his own posts if he wishes.
