Milestone – AGM statement ignores the Elephant in the room: WHEN’S THE BLOODY PLACING?

AIM-listed Milestone Group (MSG) has released an AGM statement – but it is not the voting result, it is the Chairman’s statement – to be delivered by Deborah White, who is (corporate governance Red Flag) also CEO. Of course, some of us think that there should have been a change at the helm some while back in the midst of the non-arrival of placing funds scandal which the company was, to say the least, tardy about ‘fessing up to.

Bowleven – ShareProphets RNS Translation Service dissects Board Changes

This morning AIM-listed oiler Bowleven (BLVN) announced the departure of Chairman Billy Allan and two former board members from the company. Not before time. With a second EGM in the offing the writing was on the wall for them all anyway. The ShareProphets RNS Translation Service has been taking a look at what the company had to say (original in bold).

React Group Finals: this will not go on in this manner: Buy

We had already been warned that React Group (REAT) had faced one or two issues in the last financial year notably the dismal performance of the EPUK Unit. Thus results a week or so ago were not good but that should have been expected.

OBT

Obtala - great update and great placing! We are more than 100% ahead - more to come

We tipped this stock at 8.5p (offer) so are 100% ahead but there is far more to come. Obtala (OBT) has followed a quarterly business update with news that it has entered into a conditional subscription agreement to issue £4 million of new shares at 20p each - with also the same amount of warrants convertible at the same price.

Fancy Throwing Cash into Outer Space? This Share May Lift Off

Hello Share Chasers. Every so often, I remind you of the potential of a British company which is higher than all other outfits in the Footsie. Though I am talking of high in the physical sense, rather than a matter of status.

Steve Moore Sell tip of the year, Sabien Technology - TIMBERRRRR…

Noting the balance sheet in conjunction with its trading, towards the end of 2016 I put forward Sabien Technology (SNT) as a sell tip for 2017 at 3p – questioning at what price another attempted bailout fundraising so soon after the previous one? We now have the answer…

ShareProphets AIM-China Filthy Forty Update – unspeakable in pursuit of inedible edition

With the demise of the twenty-fifth Filthy Forty listing, Asian Citrus (ACHL), as of this morning there are just 15 of our motley crew remaining listed on the Casino – and one of those, MoneySwap (SWAP), has now been suspended for more than six months, but it seems the Oxymorons have decided not to apply AIM Rule 41.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast on Brexit day - can you guess how this starts?

Heck my family has been waiting 40 years for this day as I explain HERE you must allow me to have some fun! To the markets and I have a detailed look at Sabien Technology (SNT) which is talking absolute bollocks today, at Johnston Press (JPR) and then at China New Energy (CNEL), today's ramp of choice but which stinks to high heaven. Then I discuss whether I have been too harsh on Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO). The answer is that I have not been hard enough. Ahead of a GM on Friday which I am attending the stance remains sell with a target of 0p.

Servision – Hurrah! A TR-1 from Cascade. But if it walks like a spoof and quacks like a spoof…..

So after all the questions, AIM-listed Servision (SEV) has provided answers. The AIM Rule 26 pages have been updated (after a year, vs 6-months under AIM rules), the personal guarantee of head honcho Gidon Tahan to white knight investors Cascade has been clarified and yesterday lunchtime we even had a TR-1 showing that Cascade was indeed holding the shares issued to it at over 400% of the previously prevailing share price ahead of the announcement of the funding package. But I still think the whole deal is a massive spoof and here is why.

Challenger Acquisitions: Good news – it’s not going bust yet, cue outrageous rampfest

I’ve been badgering Challenger Acquisitions (CHAL) for three weeks now to tell the market what was happening with the debt it owed and today it finally made the announcement and it was marginally good news. What happened next though was just wrong, a rampathon across LSE, ADVFN and Twitter (and Challenger should take some of the blame), with one sole aim, to mug off the average punter. This behaviour must be stopped – my campaign starts here.

Pizza HardMan Darren Atwater to make main stage debut at UK Investor - shock!

This is our fifteenth show and, I think, that this is the 6th that the Pizza Hardman Darren Atwater has been involved in. But at last he has agreed to make a main stage debut and it is not to talk about pizza. For what you may not know is that Darren is a trained journalist and, as those who read Notes From Underground every Sunday know quite a funny writer when he wants to be. And so he is on stage.

FLX

Falanx - MidGard launch and massive name tie ups

You would not have thought that Falanx (FLX) had, yesterday,  served up some cracking news but it has. The shares rose just a fraction tpo 6.5p-7p. The market is missing what is going on for now, here but the import will sink in. We are well ahead on our 4.5p offer share tip but there is plenty more to go for.

SOU

My view on Sound Energy's market valuation remain unchanged

I’ve been bearish on the valuation of Sound Energy (SOU) for a while now, and nothing in the updates this week on Tendrara or its final results have changed that opinion. Don’t get me wrong, I can certainly see potential in this company, and it has done well to turn things around and get to where it is currently, but I still think that it is crazy that it is trading at a market cap of well over £500 million at this point in time.

Amryt - trials of AP101 now underway - broker ups target to 88p: buy at 20p or under

Shares in Amryt Pharma (AMYT) are starting to move the right way and ever faster as clear progress is made with its portfolio. On Tuesday we had the, not unexpected, news that it has started the phase 3 ( that is to say final human) trials of AP101, its lead drug candidate, a potential treatment for Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). EB is a rare, genetic skin disorder, which causes exceptionally fragile skin.

BMV

Bluebird Merchant Ventures: What are you hiding in the interims? Oh…..oh dear!

This week’s strategy update from Bluebird Merchant Ventures (BMV) reminded me that I meant to go searching for its interims as it had done that really annoying thing that rubbish companies do in not actually putting the interims in the RNS, but merely putting a link to the website and then it isn’t actually on the website till later. Having finally tracked them down, I now realise why the company wanted to hide them away as they make horrific reading.

ACHL

Filthy Forty Asian Citrus – Hooray: next AIM Execution at close today. Who drank all the Ouzo?

We have already seen three AIM departures this week – and it is only Tuesday. RapidCloud (RCI) and CloudTag (CTAG) were booted off after their Nomads departed and a replacement wasn’t found within a month, and North River Resources (NRRP) delisted because it couldn’t raise cash. Today it looks set to be the turn of ShareProphets AIM-China Filthy Forty Asian Citrus (ACHL) as, amid allegations which look to amount to ones of fraud, the company has admitted that it can’t get overdue accounts out - and so the Filthy Forty will be down to a mere 15.

Falcon Media House – A welcome return? Part 1 – Shoddy non-disclosure. Standard stuff

With the exciting news that Falcon Acquisitions (FAL), or Falcon Media House as it is now known, has finally come back to the market after an eight-month suspension, I thought I’d do a review of a few of the interesting bits coming out of the long-awaited prospectus as a counter-balance to the tsunami of bullish noise from all the usual places yesterday. Unsurprisingly, there is staggering lack of disclosure that is all too normal with Standard List companies.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - How the Shipmans are buttering up my Dad plus punishing the wrong folks at Tesco

My father is being charmed and buttered up by the quacks at Warwick Hospital and I am off there shortly for a pre operation chat. Ahead of that I look at Tesco (TSCO) and its fines today - we really have got white collar crime all wrong in this country. Then I look at Genel (GENL), Tasty (TAST) which is really not very tasty at all, Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO) which is is utterly inedible and Sound Energy (SOU) where the issue is valuation. Surely the good news is in the price already?
