Exclusive: And Now Julie Meyer's ex PR man Henry Gewanter says she has not paid him a cent

Noting yesterday that Julie Meyer MBE had hired a new high powered lawyer (to replace the half dozen or more to whom her companies owe money for unpaid bills) I wondered why ace PR spinner Henry Gewanter did not have his name on the release. Henry has answered with a post on the article. It reads:

UK Investor Show Dragon's Den Video Number 5: Tom, Brian Kinane & Steve invest another £3,000

At the UK Investor Show there were six Dragon's Den sessions. As a result of each £3,000 of my real money was invested after each dragon picked one of the 5 companies doing an elevator pitch. In session five the Dragons were me (Tom Winnifrith), Brian Kinane of Riverfort, a jovial Irishman who takes teasing well, and Steve Moore. The companies pitching were: Big Sofa, Symphony Environmental, Stranger Holdings and Papua Mining

TCM

Telit - results re-emphasise a compelling sell at 160p

Despite missing even the most pessimistic forecasts, Telit Communications (TCM) was given the thumbs up by the market, up 3% as I write, to 160p. I guess on the basis that the kitchen sink job is now over and it is onwards and upwards from here.

SOS

UK Investor Show 2018 Video: Ali Hall and Julie Lavington of Sosandar

No one seemed to disagree that Ali and Julie came across incredibly well at the show. Sosandar (SOS) is a stock that I own as does Nigel Wray and so does Paul Scott who, in his sober moments, is a good retail analyst. Anyhow see what you think. I reckon the shares are a great buy at 15.5p.

Monty Python explains the true value of Andalas & the 4 questions it must answer NOW!

I was told last night by the PR spinner to Andalas (ADL) that I should be asking about its new focus in the North Sea, how it will build value, yadda, yadda, yadda. FFS This company has no assets of value, it is burning stacks of cash every day and has NEGATIVE Net current assets of up to $2 million, even after the £600,000 placing on Monday - what don't you understand about the words "FECKING INSOLVENT" darling? I leave it to Monty Python to explain the true state of Andalas below. Meanwhile here are 4 Burning questions it is not answering so I - and Brokerman Dan - will keep asking.

KDNC

UK Investor Show 2018 video - Kiran Morzaria of Cadence Minerals

I should declare that about eight years ago I borrowed C$20 from Kiran Morzaria in a snow bound Toronto and have yet to pay him back so there is a clear conflict of interest here. Not! Cue Bulletin Board Morons screaming about brown envelopes. I digress, Kiran was presenting on behalf of Cadence Minerals (KDNC). Enjoy.

VEL

Velocity Composites – less than a year since AIM IPO, it’s another profit warning!

In May last year CEO of aerospace industry material kits company Velocity Composites (VEL), Jon Bridges, was “delighted to announce the successful completion of our admission to the London Stock Exchange… look forward to our future as a quoted company with confidence”. That was at an 85p per share IPO price. The shares are currently 55p after a latest “Trading Update”

JKX

Fancy an Oil Play in the Ukraine? It Might Be More Enticing than you Might Think

Hello, Share Baggers. It’s a long time, if ever, since I brought up one of the most annoying stocks in my portfolio. That’s JKX Oil & Gas (JKX). And at long last, I see a glimmer of hope. I advised my wife to buy this company for her ISA yonks ago.

Julie Meyer hires yet another lawyer to deal with "inaccurate" press comment

At the last count Julie Meyer MBE had worked her way through 11 lawyers in the past few years. The list of outstanding creditors when Ariadne Capital Limited went tits up included six UK law firms. Now it seems she has hired another, to deal with wicked Journalists spreading untruths about her problems in Malta. It is a FACT that on 25 April the Court order Police to find Ms Meyer within 48 hours after she failed to turn up for one of several cases involving unpaid wages but Julie says the press has got it all wrong and has just issued the following statement:

PURP

Purplebricks being investigated for misleading Aussie customers (again!)

The UK regulators seem loathe to take action but having been fined last month for misleading customers in Australia it seems that Purplebricks (PURP) is in the soup once again down under. Why don't UK authorities take action too asks Chris Wood in his cracking UK Investor Show video out today HERE. Meanwhile the AFR reports:

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - The Fat Lady arrives at Nighthawk and Dave Whitby's payoff question

In the main bearcast of the day I start by asking what payoff disgraced Dave Whitby got at worthless insolvent POS Andalas (ADL)? And were mugs who backed the latest placing told where much of their cash was going ( i.e. to Whitby). Feel free to contact me if you are an Andalas owning mug. The fat Lady arrives at Nighthawk (HAWK) and looks to be in the wings at Nature Group (NGR) while new problems emerge at Imaginatik (IMTK) - a former Rob Terry fave but I speculate on bigger worries that the Quindell fraudster faces - and at Management Consulting (MMC). I think the fat Lady may well also have an appointment with Widecells Group ( WDC) shortly. I comment on 4 reasons why Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO) shares may be falling and on looming results at Optibiotix (OPTI), where we own shares.

Widecells: Sub-Standard List shocker – should be suspended immediately

I will do a separate piece later this week on all the Sub-Standard Shockers that have come out (or not) with their accounts on deadline day of 30 April; however, I had to comment separately on Widecells (WDC) which as I type is still trading although should be suspended for two different reasons.

WAND

Uk Investor Show 2018 Videos; Dave Richards of WANdisco

Is it Dave or David? I get confused by so much these days. Whatever he presented a compelling case. And after the Dragon's Den he did I became a shareholder as you can see HERE. Wandisco (WAND) is proof of how vital management is. It was heading for disaster then management changed and now its zooming ahead as Dave/David explains below.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: No 1 Catching up on the Telit and Andalas lies and scandals

After getting back home from Sweden in the late afternoon I jotted down my thoughts on Andalas (ADL) a company still insolvent after a placing on Monday and where the stench of the greed of its ex CEO Dave Whitby is omnipresent. Then it was onto results from Telit (TCM), the insider dealing of its CEO, possible disposals, 88 definitions of profit and the ongoing mega cashburn which is the grim reality.
