React Group (REAT) has announced results for its half-year ended 31^st March 2018, including “market conditions have been difficult and the company has also gone through a period of significant change… the board is optimistic the changes being made will deliver value for shareholders in the future”…

On my 24 mile walk with Lucian - a bit of a disaster as the last five miles were unplanned and very painful as described here - we discussed Tesla, Tern and the stockmarket bubble. I ponder that and then discuss a total Blow Job splash for Neil Woodford in the Mail on Sunday, a disgraceful day for "journalism."

So far my 5 sells for 2018 have offered mixed results, although the average performance as at the end of May was -15%. As we approach the end of June we have results due: might we see a casualty or two?

AIM-listed jam-tomorrow investment company Tern plc (TERN) announced on Friday that investee Device Authority’s (DA) strategic partnership with Thales has developed to a healthcare IoT security blueprint. We are told it represents a significant milestone, but once again there are no numbers. What is the profit split between Thales and Device Authority, for example?

The longer you follow the lower end of the AIM market, the more you realise that big share price movements are often more a result of a concerted pump than related to actual news that has been released.

AIM-listed Haydale offered a terrible trading update the week before last, announced the CEO was moving aside and we know it needs to raise cash. In that context, the ramptastic pre-placing RNS Reach of Tuesday and a sub-£9,000 director’s-wife’s buy announced on Wednesday would appear to need taking with a large pinch of salt. Last night, at 4.20pm, however, we learnt that Legal & General had been selling.

Yesterday afternoon, Neil Woodford released his end-May portfolio updates and associated fund factsheets which highlighted the challenges facing Woodford Patient Capital Trust (WPCT) in the coming months as its debt position is now almost untenable, not that Woodford has disclosed as such.

Hello Share Pushers. Another week's gone by. Another seven days in a very long, but rather slow bull market. Actually, the Footsie's performance recently has been poor, so should we see that as a sign of a ne w bear market? Must we change at least a few of our shares into cash? I would say ' yes' for the following reasons.

I cautioned again on shares in specialist recruitment company Prime People (PRP) in November – half-year results, expects some second half improvements BUT…. The company has now announced results for its year ended 31st March 2018…

He is still its “head of Business Origination.” He, and his wife Fiona who works for charity Social Enterprise UK, are either the UK’s greatest living share traders or just plain insider dealers.  The stock in question is Rock Rose Energy (RRE) and I merely print a timeline of phone calls and emails and, as Peter Cook’s version of Judge Cantley in the Jeremy Thorpe trial would put it, “then invite you, ladies and gentlemen of the jury, to go away and consider carefully why these two fine upstanding individuals are not guilty of anything at all but should do themselves a favour and become professional day traders.”

Shares in Trakm8 (TRAK) ended yesterday c12% higher, back above 100p, on the back of a “International Contract Award” RNS. Ooooh, “international” hey – ramptastic or what’s the detail?
