The 10 most followed stocks on ADVFN – proof of where the morons roam
The only shock here is that Versarien (VRS) and Bidstack (BIDS) don’t make the list. But I kind of bet they are in the top 20. However the top 10 are in order:

McBride – trading update & having expected ‘Household’ revenues to be flat for the year…
Previously writing on cleaning and hygiene products manufacturer McBride (MCB), in July I concluded with the shares then down a further more than 10%, below 70p, that my stance remains bargepole / sell. The company “today provides a trading update for the six months ended 31 December 2019”. Uh oh – not ‘is pleased to provide’?...

Former Woodford favourite Mereo Biopharma: they marched it up to the top of the hill……
……And they marched it down again. Woodford dog-pick extraordinaire, Aim- and Nasdaq- listed Mereo Biopharma (AIM: MPH, Nasdaq: MREO) announced what appeared to be good news yesterday, sending the AIM-listed shares up from 33p as high as 45.5p before they fell back down to 38p at the close yesterday. Meanwhile the Nasdaq stock put on around 48% at the peak, before giving up almost the entire gain to close up just 7%. The news was not so good after all!...

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: its all about cash cash cash you fecking morons
In today's podcast I discuss four companies: Shareprophets Ltd which is not insolvent (whatever the morons say), Lekoil (LEK) which might be, Eden Research (EDEN) which could be and should be and Telit (TCM) which is not but is still grossly overvalued.

Yawnfest at Taylor Wimpey and PageGroup
A month ago, I observed on these pages that you did not need to buy every single stock geared to the UK economy on the basis that much was anticipated on day one of the Boris bounce on Friday the 13th of December. Updates today from Taylor Wimpey (TW.) and PageGroup (PAGE) reiterate this point…

BREAKING: Victory for the Sheriff of AIM – Versarien chat room shut down
Oh dear, Oh dear. Last week I exposed the private Discord chat room where Versarien (VRS) shareholders discussed how to leak inside information, Neill Ricketts told folks what to post on Bullettin Boards and the groupies discussed how to deal with me. Well guess what?

KRM22 – trading update provides confidence for 2020… or not?
Previously writing on capital markets risk management technology-focused KRM22 (KRM), in November I noted “placing… to provide the company with additional working capital”... Or not? – concluding “there remains cash danger. As previously concluded with the shares around 70p, at this juncture I certainly avoid”. Now a “Trading Update”…

Lekoil: promotion to Vomit List - Nigerian Scam award citation & we expose another $6 million black hole
Other than shareholders, few could have failed to be amused and appalled in equal measure by Lekoil (LEK) - which has repeatedly referred to itself as an indigenous Nigerian oil company - falling for the long running Nigerian e-mail scam of the ”we have loads of money..send us a deposit and we will make you rich..” type. By itself this incredible incompetence merits my original award of a Vomit list backup place. But we know now about partner payments and obligations after yesterday’s RNS and that merits a hurl to a full blown Vomit List place...

More Reasons to Sell My Shares in Morrisons
Hello, Share Scrapers. Morrison (MRW) and Tesco (TSCO) are the two British supermarkets in which I still hold shares. I’m happy about the Tesco investment because I still think of it as a recovery play, after some big set-backs a few years ago now. But I don't really know why I still have Morrison because the shares continue to disappoint...

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: fake sheiks & Nomads in the doghouse on another day of utter shame for the scandal plagued AIM Casino
I start with an update on ADVFN's paedo guy, then it is onto the role of Nomads on the AIM Casino, what they are meant to do and the problems they face. I look at three Nomads and their clients: Lekoil (LEK), Versarien (VRS) and Anglo African Oil & Gas (AAOG) plus I discuss Tizania (TILS) and today's monster spoof from almost insolvent Iconic Labs (ICON).

We can ignore reality, but we cannot ignore the consequences of ignoring reality...
We all know that price has lost connection with reality, and so every speculator and algo is one second away from hitting "sell" and locking in the gains from the greatest manipulated bubble known to mankind...

Filthy Forty Walcom – limping on….and on. When oh when will the shares be suspended?
ShareProphets AIM-China Filthy Forty play Walcom (WALG) updated at lunchtime today that after weeks of prevaricating its CEO and CFO, Mr Francis Chi, has finally signed on the dotted line to give the company a lifeline in the form of a further loan of HK$ 270,000. But as lifelines go, this is as short as it gets for even with further loans which may or may or may not follow we are told that the cash will still run out in early February.

Fake Sheikh alert yet again on the AIM casino - Lekoil shares suspended
Just over a week ago, Peter Brailey wrote on this website on AIM-listed, Nigeria and West Africa oil and gas-focused, Lekoil (LEK) it’s a good deal for the Partner and CEO..but is it for shareholders?, concluding it is simply not a business that I could invest in at the current time. This followed him having earlier included it as a back-up for the Vomit List. He might want to consider ‘promoting’ it to the list after an update on the ‘funding deal’ today – though it’ll require the shares' return from suspension first!...

Bombshell: The truth about the lawsuit that should sink Anglo African Oil & Gas & see its board and, Possibly, Nomad sacked
On 8 January 2019, embattled and almost insolvent Anglo African Oil & Gas (AAOG) admitted that it had received a legal claim from Askell Limited but it told shareholders not to worry as “it believes the Askell claim is without merit.” Au contraire.. a City source has given me the full SP and the scale and nature of the claim are massive and should sink the company. As such the RNS was utterly misleading.

Anglo African Oil & Gas & Zenith Energy – Spooooooooooooooooooooof! as GM vote passed
I assumed, as it turns out correctly, that the GM held today to approve Anglo African’s (AAOG) duff deal to sell 80% of its stake in the Tilapia field to fellow AIM dog Zenith (ZEN) would go Anglo’s way. But just to make sure the two companies served up a massive spoof today … the RNS is total crap.

The City Pub Group – “pleased with the overall performance of the group for 2019” = a trading warning?!
“Owner and operator of 47 premium pubs across Southern England and Wales”, The City Pub Group (CPC) has announced a “Year End Trading Update”, including “the board is pleased with the overall performance of the group for 2019”. The shares are currently at 197.5p – er, more than 9% lower on the day!…

Versarien – another letter to AIM Regulation
Neill Ricketts continues to operate an almost Trappist new media silence suggesting that my letter to AIM Regulation and his Nomad Bobbie Hilliam of Canaccord about the private Versarien (VRS) Discord chat room is being taken very seriously indeed. However, over the weekend evidence emerged HERE of just how fragrantly Neill Ricketts breaks AIM Rules and so I have written again.

Tizania to dump its AIM quote - mea culpa
Hello Share Mates. Last week I commended a medical pioneer to your attention because it had just announced exciting news. The Nasdaq and AIM-listed Tiziana (TILS)was given an encouraging boost by the Harvard Medical School no less for a positive test for its Foralumab drug for boosting the immune system.
