Iofina – Q1 and progress update, Buy
Iofina (IOF) has announced first quarter production of 103.8 metric tonnes of crystalline iodine from its five operating IOsorb plants in Oklahoma, USA, in line with its budgeted projections and that “iodine spot prices have reached $60/kg and above, up 20% since the beginning of the year”. This sounds encouraging.

Centamin – Q1 update, production fall expected and we can now look to better times ahead
Centamin (CEY) has announced a quarterly update including “as planned, Q1 2022 production reflected the successful transition to owner mining in the underground… reiterates its 2022 full-year guidance”, so what of a share price response currently down closer to 90p?

Nanosynth – pure bullshit RNS, shares 85% overvalued
Whether as Strat Aero (AERO), Remote Monitored Systems (RMS) or Nanosynth (NNN), there are a few common threads. For starters, they have repeatedly lied to investors. Then there is the fact that every business bought fails to make any cash.

Investors Might Want to Say Hello and Not Bye, Bye to this Blackbird
Hello Share People. Blackbird plc (BIRD) is a television company that’s flying high, and I don't really think the current share price reflects this. I rather think share values should reflect future prospects rather than past achievements and Blackbird, with its ground breaking technology to help TV companies and its big investment in research and development, could win many more profitable orders in the future.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Kefi should sack 2 old men in suits and hire Amanda Van Dyke & ANO
I start with good news concerning my mother-in-law, which suggests my current living - where folks pay £5.99 a month to hurl abuse at me - is maybe not such a desirable career. Then onto Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI), and what I have told 'arry Bloody Adams should happen next, in light of his latest e-mail to me. Then onto Vast Resources (VAST) and Eden Research (EDEN), not Pharma as I misspoke in the podcast. Finally, Gear4Music (G4M), which is enough to turn fanboys Paul Scott and Malcolm Stacey to drink. Vindicated yet again as a bear, I warn of worse to come, following today's bullshit-heavy trading statement.

ProCook – “pleased” with its revenue growth… but what about the outlook?
November IPO at 145p per share, direct-to-consumer specialist kitchenware group ProCook (PROC) has announced Q4 trading results for the 12 weeks ended 3rd April and for its full year. So what of the shares currently at 127p?...

Kefi Gold & Copper – another placing, the shares are still cheap but Harry Adams is a jerk
Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI) states that it “is pleased to announce an oversubscribed fundraising to raise gross cash proceeds of £8.0 million… at a price of 0.8 pence per ordinary share”, with also a warrant per two placing shares at an exercise price of 1.6p exercisable for two years. But then it admits “the placing price represents a discount of 25% against the ten-day VWAP to 19 April”. So the stock was handed out cheaply so making the placing oversubscribed. Well done 'arry bloody Adams and team aren't you clever boys?

What ex ShareSoc "chair" Sheryl Cuisia (she/her) said just two months ago
Yesterday, I reported on how Sheryl Cuisia, the chairwoman of ShareSoc, had – along with two fellow directors – walked the plank following a boardroom bust-up. The organisation which campaigns, inter alia, for greater transparency in the corporate world, has been less-than-transparent in explaining the bust-up and, indeed, has been busy erasing Cheryl's posts from its archive.

Upland Resources brings you an Easter tale of life after death
Sadly Upland Resources (UPL) announced the death of its NED and also its broker Jeremy King. The release issued as an RNS as you can see below, was crafted by not one but two PR firms including uber expensive FTI Consulting. To have two firms on board means Upland is spunking a good £10,000 amonth on PR but you need to pay for quality. The contacts on the release include a Mr Jeremy King, a true story of Easter resurrection.

Falling Back To Earth as Gravity Asserts: Barkby, Cloudbreak and URU
I cannot help but notice that a good many of the shares of which I am a bear are dropping at the moment. With some, it is a case of the ramptastic froth being blown away. With others, it is surely a case of gravity asserting itself.

DP Poland – argues sales ‘delight’, but what about the bottom-line?...
DP Poland (DPP) has stated in a trading update that it is “delighted to see the strong sales performance in Q1 2022, with LFL System Sales up 21% over 2021, benefitting from a strong management focus towards increased order volumes in our stores. At the end of March 2022, Poland lifted the majority of COVID-19 restrictions and we have seen a further acceleration in sales growth, with LFL System Sales up 29% in March”. So what of a current share price response slightly lower to 7.75p?...

My advice to THG: forget the bids, focus on achieving profit and free cash flow!
A bit over six months ago I observed that there were “so many reasons to keep on avoiding The Hut Group”, which we now know as THG (THG). Since I wrote then the shares have continued post IPO shocking performance and today sit at a circa one quid share price, having been over four quid back in October (and having had an original IPO price of 500p a year before that). So is there an opportunity to buy now or is the smartest view to keep on avoiding?

Osirium Technologies – “pleased to report” 2021 results announcement, what about again soon-needed ‘capital raise’?
Previously writing on cybersecurity and IT automation software company Osirium Technologies (OSI), earlier this month I noted a “delighted” with performance trading update was ramptastic. Now a results announcement… and the shares currently more than 16.5% lower to 12.5p in response…

Furniture Seller with Snazzy Designs Should See a Jolly Rally of its Battered Share Price
Hello Share Climbers. As this family is looking for a new gaff, we get to look at the way most folks furnish their rooms. We see very few older beds, wardrobes and chest of drawers that used to be widely inherited. Instead, nearly every house we view online has newish stuff. That’s good news for furniture designers and suppliers, like Made.com Group (MADE).

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: You want me to be angry with 'arry fecking Adams of bloody Kefi? You will not be disappointed
In today's Bearcast, I start with Guild ESports (GILD), and a collapsing party house of cards. I refer to the David Williams of Avanti infamy shocker - it is still a cracking short. Then I comment on Petropavlovsk (POG), where I am surprised no one has feigned offence at my earlier headline. There is a bit on NightCap (NGHT), but most of this podcast covers Kefi Gold and Copper (KEFI). Matthew and his dog will be delighted by that section.

Previously writing on B2B media group Bonhill (BONH) I noted that it proposed to raise approximately £1.1 million at 5.5p per share via a placing and open offer it stated “for working capital purposes” but I suggested to avert cash crunch ahoy. Now further fundraising detail along with calendar year 2021 results.

Centamin – Q1 Disappoints, Or Does It?
Fully-listed Gold miner in Egypt, Centamin (CEY), offered up its Q1 report this morning and whilst there were a few corners to celebrate, there was bad news – at least temporarily – for shareholders as the company reported cashflow of MINUS $21.4 million on reduced sales as the business model changed to owner-mining and much-increased costs. As I write, the shares are down 7% on the news at 90p, capitalising the company at £1.05 billion. But are things as bad as they seem?

Synectics – argues first quarter ‘in line with expectations’, but what is required for the full-year?...
Security and surveillance systems company Synectics (SNX) has announced “trading in the first quarter of the new financial year was in line with the board's expectations… The company's consolidated order book as at 31 March 2022 was approximately £29.0 million (30 November 2021: £28.4 million) and the group's balance sheet remains strong with net cash of approximately £3.9 million at 31 March 2022”. So what of a current approaching 7% share price fall towards 116p?...
